I am late to the party in writing my review of Archadeck, however, that gives me a unique perspective from those who post immediately after a job has been completed. My experience with Rick Conrad, owner, of the local Archadeck franchise began 02⁄2012. I had purchased a new home in Pipersville and was interested in a deck. I got the drawings and multiple quotes and based on value, I chose to go with Rick. I gave him a deposit and then got cold feet. I asked for my money back and he did so without hassle. He politely kept in touch for the next year — never making me feel hassled, but like a good salesmen, kept in touch. Well, in the spring of 2013, I revisited the idea of having the deck built. I had one or two more people come out and take a look at the project, and again I felt most comfortable, all things considered, in doing business with Rick. Once we made the deal, he and his crew were excellent. Rick went over all the docs, provided proof of insurance and produced a professional contract. Each day the crew showed up on time, were very polite and considerate of the property, cleaned their mess each day and at the end of the project. The deck was built exactly as discussed and was everything I wanted. Budget did not change from the original quote, and we pated ways. It’s been a little over a year now and I thought I owed Rick and Archadeck a review. The deck is still beautiful, sturdy(even when we have guests and multiple out on the deck together), shows no signs of wear(which is a product of the materials as well, but point being I have no complaints at all a year later). I would recommend using Archadeck and considerig for most this is a sizeable investment, I would conclude that you can buy with peace of mind that you are dealing with a professional and will end up with a quality product. Best of luck! — Michael
