Avoid this place! Dr. gave me a treatment plan which included different procedures over the course of many visits.
I came in for some fillings, which were scheduled for my visit that day on my
long-​term treatment plan. The Dr. ended up giving me a temporary crown, which I wasn’t expecting nor had I prepared for, as this procedure was scheduled as a «maybe» for a visit far in the future!
The crown meant the difference between the expected few hundred and close to a few thousand dollars! I paid my bill, but I can’t imagine the situation for someone who didn’t have enough money to pay for a crown without advance notice or time to save up.
I feel that I should have been given the choice as to whether I wanted the crown that day — regardless of how bad my tooth was.
I came back, I believe to have the temporary crown fitted properly as my bite was now off, and the Dr. didn’t even come in the room! I called the office when I went home to discuss my displeasure with how things were handled and the fact that the Dr. didn’t attend my visit. The Dr. and his receptionist were rude and unapologetic.
I ended up switching to a different Dr. for the permanent crown as I refused to give this guy any more of my money. It ended up costing me more to switch mid-​crown, but it was completely worth it to get away from this place.
I was disgusted with my treatment here. I switched to a different dentist and have had nothing but positive experiences.
Go somewhere else!

Dr. Wilderman has been my dentist since I was in grade school. All through college, and law school, I would schedule my appointments for when I was home on a break. Now, I take the day out of the office to make the trek to Doylestown from Philly. The whole staff is really friendly, and they get to know you.
