This restaurant is too expensive and a ripoff! All vegetarian specialities are $ 15 and up and the meat specialities start at $ 17 and go up to $ 20. They even charged us $ 5 a basket for papad and $ 5 for onions to eat with our dinner. Which indian restaurant charges for papad and onions? I never seen this before! When we got our final bill it was ridiculous. Our waiter informed us he added a gratuity and didn’t even put in the bill how much. When we did the calculation, he had added a $ 30 gratuity. He didn’t even serve us that well! I recommend do not go to this restaurant because they will put a hole in your pocket!

Extremely tasty. We have tried lots of stuff on the menu and have never been disappointed. Chicken tikka masala and saag aloo are our standard order.

Had the chicken tikki biryani ask for it to be spicy. Oh man this was the bomb. Chicken was cooked perfectly and moist. Bell peppers were amazing and the heat of the spices BAM. Owners are very polite.

Went back for one more try just to give it a last chance. ended up being charged 16.00 for a lunch item that was on their menu online for 12.95. For that price, I would expect chicken breast white meat, what I received was grizzly brown meat, not really sure if it was meat! Can’t believe they are still in business. Stay Away!!!

Keema naan was chicken and the tandoori mixed grill had no lamb anywhere. No description on the menu. Keema naan made of chicken was dry, but had good flavor. The chicken and salmon in the mixed grill were cooked fine. The shrimp were chewy. But NOLAMB! Did I mention no lamb? I should have asked. But there should be a description on the menu! I would have ordered a lamb dish otherwise. Restaurant is clean and the staff attentive.

One of the best Indian food I had in a while. Though I reached there for dinner without any recommendations but I was amazed at the service and quality of food delivered by these guys. Awesome job. We ordered Paneer tikka masala, Yellow dal, Garlic nanes, rice and tandoori roti. Keep it up. Nice ambience, very neat and clean. Highly recommended.

Blech. Chicken tikka masala is flavorless, and the tandoori chicken tikka includes bone-in chunks of primarily dark meat chicken. Overpriced also. Not recommended.

This place is great from the food to the service. I think it is price well for the quality of the food you’re being served. We had the Tandoori and Tikka masala which were the best I’ve ever had. We also had the rose Lassi, I just wish the cup that it was served in was a little bigger but sooo delicious. The place looks tiny on the outside but roomy and pretty inside.

The food here is great and much more reasonably priced than what you find downtown. I especially enjoy their tandoori chicken and their chicken tikka Boursin. Their breads and samosas are very good as well. My wife and I order from them a couple times a month.

Strong. Storefront place, but bigger inside than it looks. And fancier, too. These guys know what they are doing. Lamb korma and chicken tikka masala were great. So is the naan.

Top of the line Authentic Indian food. Chicken tikka Masala is to die for. Korma also its equal. Only complaint is that some days they charge dinner rates for lunch orders. I left the second time they pulled that on me. So call ahead to see what rates they’re charging that afternoon

The food is good but overpriced. I don’t think I’d return here mostly because of the cost. Service is polite and attentive but slow. If you check in here, you get a coupon but they do not accept it.

For a small unassuming eatery, the food was surprisingly delicious. The Kashmiri Naan bread with nuts and fruits was amazing… crispy and chewy. We had the Lamb Saag and the Lamb Vindaloo, both delicious. We asked for very spicy and it was delivered very spicy but not over the top. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. I am looking forward to going back soon!

Dreary ambience and mediocre food. Order the Chicken Tikka and was given choice of mild, medium or spicy. Ordered spicy but was utterly tasteless(though tender and juicy, lol). Wife’s dish was just ok. There’s a better choice in town, Kawa Grill.

Ok so I read a few reviews before picking this place to ensure it was going to be decent. I’m glad I did because this place is great. I’ll go through my experience. I called the restaurant to order pick up. There’s the only thing I think they can improve. They didn’t identify the store or the person answering the phone and he didn’t give me a price when I was done. I saw the menu online so I had an idea but a confirmation would have been nice. Just something to work on. Onto the rest… The quoted wait time was 15 min so I arrived a few past and was told it wasn’t quite ready yet but it would be shortly. I didn’t mind because to me that means they are taking their time cooking and preparing the food and not quickly slopping stuff together. So fine there. The staffs appearance is very professional and greeted me warmly when I walked in which was nice. I paid for my meal(they are public service personnel friendly, FYI) and waited. I looked around and saw that other than me and one other lady waiting for her takeout there was nobody in the restaurant. I was pretty surprised since the reviews here are good. A short while later my food was done and I was on my way. It smelled FANTASTIC in the car. I got home and immediately dove in, and was very pleasantly surprised at what I found. I ordered the lamb biryani and the takeout container was STUFFEDFULL of lamb and rice(it’s a rice platter so it makes sense). The taste was very good as well and matched if not exceeded my expectations. I also ordered the garlic naan and was glad to see they give you a HUGE piece of naan instead of a small piece like other places have. The place is a tad costly but for the amount of food you get it can EASILY feed two or more people so I am not complaining a bit. All in all I would definitely come back and try another platter.

Just had a lovely Father’s Day lunch at this little Doylestown joint. Their chicken korma was among the best, if not THE best I’ve ever tasted. Definitely recommend to all of my suburbians/anyone passing through this area.

Their lunch menu is the way to go. Just the right size portion, and if you’ve never had Indian food, it’s a great price to be able and try different dishes out. Chicken tikka masala and Navertan korma are really good.

If you’re looking for chicken tikka masala in Doylestown, look no further. Best Taste of India II, the sequel to Best Taste of India. The layout of the restaurant is kinda strange, with most of the tables lined up down a seemingly neverending hallway. If you run fast enough down this hallway, you wake up in Agra(or so the legends say). This is a pretty standard Indian restaurant, offering the common Punjabi dishes that every single other Indian restaurant offers with good quality and care. The naan bread is fluffy and buttery and delicious. The chicken tikka masala is succulent. This is the best Indian restaurant that I have had so far in this area.

I’m glad to see more ethinic food places opening up in Doylestown. We are starving for it! One thing I love about Best Taste of India II is that they actually DELIVER. Such a rarity in Doylestown — I frequently take advantage of it. They have pretty decent Indian food(slightly above average), but the service is always friendly and fast. The prices are comparable with other Indian restaurants in the area. I would give it a shot.
