I live in Manhattan and weekend in Bucks County, PA. I’ve been going to the same stylist/colorist in Yonkers, NY for about 15 years as I followed my colorist from NYC because I loved her work, the prices were so much better than Manhattan and I have a car. Due to a number of things I could not continue to go to Yonkers — I needed a place closer to our weekend place. I saw Ciao Bella on my way to lunch at the Tap Room a few doors down and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. It’s small(2-seats) which I love and is nicely decorated. Valerie cut and colored my baby fine sort of wavy hair(some foils and gray coverage) and I love it. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were similar to Yonkers and not Manhattan. Total for cut and color was $ 175.00(plus tip)…Valerie is an owner so I am not sure a tip is necessary… but I felt like it because I was happy with the service and experience.

This quaint salon is right in Doylestown. The salon itself was nice decorated and pretty chill, although it is pretty small. I had made an appointment here to see a hairstylist that worked especially with curly hair. Valerie did an amazing job answering all of my hair care questions. I thought she also did an amazing job with my wavy/curly hair. The price was a few dollars more than I normally pay, which will keep me from going back very often.
