Ah, the nostalgic stories I could tell you about Fanny Chapman pool (swim club?). Fortunately, my family lived in a community that had a nice pool, so i only went here a few times each summer as a kid — but many, many of my friends LIVED here summer after hot, humid, boring teenaged summer.
It’s a nice, safe pool with teen-​aged lifeguards doing their first job.
A fun place to go if you don’t have a pool of your own.
And many, many people learned to swim here — they have great (often college aged) qualified insturctional swim lessons.
