Love this location just because its away from the busy streets of downtown Lowell. Great food, delicious sushi, and awesome drinks! Definitely coming here again when I’m in town.

Pleasantly surprised! Came here on Easter Sunday. Hot, delicious food. Pork fried rice, crab rangoons, chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, chicken gyoza, avocado salad, and Philadelphia rolls were all great. Standard fare done very well. Not overly greasy and seemed fresh-made. Great service and nice dining area. Will be back for sure!

Came here yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered 1 spicy salmon roll and their bento box dinner special. I got the chicken katsu, a salad, and beef teriyaki sticks. Portions were good and I like if you get any bento box, it comes a long with a app which you can choose from 1 – 16 choices, which is nice. The waitress was helpful with any questions we had. Food was pretty decent for the price. We got a booth seat with a direct view of the river.

The food was ok, but I was not that impressed with the restaurant or cuisine. It was your expected fast food type Chinese food at night down stairs. I think eating in the daytime upstairs, the quality is likely much better.

Food is always fresh and delicious. The sushi is very flavorful. I love sitting upstairs at the sushi bar watching them make the sushi, its quite entertaining and the servers are very attentive and friendly. The mixed drinks are also delicious. I usually go with the cosmopolitan.

This is the best Chinese food around. Its the freshest and lightest Chinese food. Great sushi too. The wait staff is great too… It’s a nice clean restaurant. I’ve been going for 2 years and won’t go anywhere else

It’s a busy night the order comes very late, the items in the order are wrong, the chicken is over cooked so much you cannot cut it with a knife.

The last time I was there we got take-out and they messed up the order. Forgot our soups and missed the chicken fingers. When I went back, they asked me for proof.

arrived a little late, around 8:30. 5 in our party. we were seated right away(on the sushi bar side) — the place is loud! had the spicy crunchy tuna roll — it was VERY good — and that was the only good thing beside the dumplings. more on that below… all of our food came at separate times. I was already done my dinner by the time my daughters appetizer came out. Yes — appetizer of dumplings. I got the chicken udon. very bland. not impressed. no flavor at all! other items ordered: spicy thai chicken. not spicy at all. ATALL. and the sauce smelled like urine. went in the trash. boneless crispy duck — chewy and way overcooked I also got a piña colada and am pretty sure there was no alcohol in it, after the waiter specifically asked me if I wanted it to have alcohol in it. will never go back. not worth it.

Excellent sushi — probably best around. Very large menu of all different types of sushi and Chinese. My favorites are the spicy crunchy tuna and spicy crunchy scallop roll. They’re one of the only places that have a scallop roll on the menu. Their ginger dressing on the green salad and crab rangoons are also excellent. A great value. I would say the best sushi and most affordable around.

My husband and I love yujo! The service is outstanding. The owner always suggests different sushi rolls for us to try,(as we are semi-new to sushi) and different dishes as we are creatures of habit and usually get the same standard things! We haven’t been dissapointed yet. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a review based off the food. We went there based off the reviews on Unilocal. It was awful… I don’t normally complain about anything. The service was great. The tempura batter and or oil was expired and it was on every sushi roll and the spicy Kani salad. It tasted awful… stale and expired, tasting like cardboard. We notified the manager as soon as we got it and they remade one of our dishes. The others were wasted and we still paid for them. The service was great, so we tipped the server nicely. But the food wasn’t good due to the expired oil and stale tempura bread crumbs.

This place used to be the former lin garden which was awful. Yujo made a huge turn around. Hands down best sushi place in the area. Pleasant atmosphere. Waitstaff is super nice. Owner is very nice. Sushi is excellent. Great prices. Pu pu platter is excellent. Shrimp pad Thai is great. Downstairs they have a full bar with karaōke on weds and sat night which is a riot. They have keno, lottery, ATM on site. I go here at least 3 – 4 times a week. Mai tai are good. Wayne is great bartender very funny Hope this helps!

In a word, disappointing. Stopped at Yugo on a late Sunday afternoon, as my wife and I were craving Chinese food and I could not dismiss the Unilocal reviews. The location was a former Chinese Restaurant that was our favorite in the Greater Lowell area. I’m still upset over their closure last year. The menu was vast with Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Malaysian selections. The restaurant upstairs, nicely renovated from the past restaurant, was clean with a series of booths and tables as well as a sushi bar. It was pretty empty when we arrived. Downstairs appears to be a sports bar. It looked closed. We only wanted appetizers so we ordered the PuPu Platter along with an order of chicken and shrimp Pad Thai. I did also order a bowl of Wonton Soup to start it off. The soup was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The broth tasted little more than hot water with a hint of chicken flavoring. There were maybe two wontons swimming in this weak broth and a couple of scallions. That was it. Terrible. The appetizer platter for two ran us $ 18, pretty average for pricing. But the portion was very much on the small side. Nothing stood out. Most apps were average such as the chicken fingers(4), steak teriyaki(2), and chicken wings(2). There was no crab in the crab Rangoon(4). The fried shrimp(6) were tiny baby shrimp where most places serve jumbo. The egg rolls(2) were flavorless. There was also a small portion of boneless spare ribs which were dried out. The Pad Thai was okay, but I have not had it often enough to compare it to others. My wife who loves Pad Thai thought it was strange, and unlike any she has ever had and in a bad way. Service was fine. I’m still yearning for another Lin Garden to open in the area. Yojo doesn’t cut it for me. I don’t see us going back.

This is literally etsogo with a new name. I was so sad when I heard that they closed in lowell and was thrilled to find out that they just relocated with a new name. I tried some of the old favorites like the paradise roll and they taste amazing like always. Yujo has nice interior designs and a good ambience/atmosphere. This is a perfect place for a date. It’s very modern and low key. The sushi here is amazing and what’s even better is the quality especially for what you pay! In its new location it has a nice view of the Merrimack river. The sushi came in a beautiful presentation! There was like a light up ice cube in a glass that radiated outward that gave it a visual appeal. I will definitely be back.

Excellent customer service! Excellent food! Very good prices for fresh sushi. Sushi is displayed very elegant. Restaurant is easy to get to and has an excellent parking. Spacious. Very clean and their hospitality and attentiveness is great! They always have a smile for you and they personally greet you as you arrive. They have a variety of drinks and the Mai-Tai is great. Their vegetable fried rice is my favorite! Vegetables are fresh, beef and chicken are fresh. Their pepper steak and orange chicken are my favorite plates. Thank you Jannet! You and your team are simply THEBEST. Regards, Maria, Carlos & Baby Chloë!
