We stayed here with our dog and 2 kids, ages 4 and 7. Everyone loved it! The cabins are situated on over 30 acres on the side of a narrow canyon. Because you have to go over a narrow bridge over the rushing creek to get to her property, we felt completely at ease letting our dog roam without worrying about him wandering into traffic. The evening that I cooked dinner while DH, the kids and the dog took an impromptu hike up into the woods behind us really brought home what a perfect vacation spot this was for us. Every time we drove into town(took maybe 3 minutes) and drove past all the other cabins and lodges perched right up next to the road and stacked side by side, I was so grateful for the private little oasis we had found at Flo Ann’s. Don’t let the«rustic» scare you — the kitchen was better stocked(with Le Creuset even!) than the next cabins we stayed in at Chautauqua, Boulder. The cabin felt spacious, Flo Ann was a consummate host with humor and hospitality, the fireplace was used almost nightly, and we truly had a wonderful family experience here. Highly recommend this place. Thanks, Flo Ann!

This little place run by the owner(FloAnn) is just 5 miles east of Estes Park on US34. It is a small collection of really nice, rustic style cabins with full kitchens, nice decks, outdoor fire pits and charcoal grills. My girl and I have stayed in probably close to 25 different cabins of this sort over the years, and this one is one of our favorites. This is namely due to the serenity you can experience here because it is off the main road a bit, and you feel like you have a good deal of solitude(our favorite, and the number one thing we look for in renting a cabin). We stayed in Cabin #4 for 2 nights, and really enjoyed ourselves. FloAnn was really sweet, left us to our peace, and even let me use the sweet Weber kettle grill each night(huge plus for me). This is by far the best place we’ve stayed in near Estes, out of several. Highly recommended.
