I have never Unilocaled in my life, but I wanted to make a point to do it for Dr. Self and his staff. From the moment we walked into his office I knew this was the place for me. Everyone was extremely welcoming, caring, and informative. From his front office staff — Patty, also his nurses, and of course Dr. Self all are absolutely amazing.
Dr. Self is the kind of doctor all of us are looking for. The minute you meet him you know he is the one you want to work on you. You know you can trust him. He is so thorough, so very caring, and best of all he is a perfectionist. Dr. Self is an exceptional plastic surgeon with so many people I have spoken with. He has a great esthetic eye to give you exactly what you want; just take a look at his image gallery online.
I decided to get a breast reduction after 20 years of back, neck, and shoulder pain. BIG decision for me since I was going from a size FF to C. This would not only be a physical change but we all knew it would mentally change me too. Dr. Self was AMAZING with explaining the pros (tons) and cons (none really).
Dr. Self answered all of my questions and my husbands question clearly and truthfully. He explained what the surgery entailed, and what to expect if I decided to go through with the procedure. I really appreciated that he told me the truth and not just what I wanted to hear just so I would become his patient.
From the day of the surgery and post surgery (now 3 weeks later) I can honestly say it has been an amazing and wonderful experience. How many people say that after any type of surgery. There has been NO bruising, no major discomfort, most of all NO regrets.
As far as the results go, lets just say that my husband is very happy (LOL) and I could not be more pleased! I got exactly what I wanted and more. He did a beautiful job.

He is very friendly, patient, informative, and calm, his staff is well-​trained, and I have only gotten good vibes from him. Underwent surgery yesterday, he took his time but was efficient and he finished earlier than anticipated with no complications. I am in pain but loving the results already (weight that was bearing down on my neck, shoulders, and back is gone). I did not want to be catheterized (even though the UTI rate is low) and he stood up for me to certain staff members because he did not feel it was necessary either. Everyone who works with him told me what a great plastic surgeon he is. He called last night to check up on me. I don’t anticipate needing further plastic surgery but I would highly recommend him to anyone in Salt Lake and surrounding areas. His areas of specialty are on his website.
