I just found out Ming’s is close between next Monday and Friday. It will open again on next Saturday 2⁄13 for the Valentine.

This place has actually figured out take out breakfast. We live close by so we get take out pancakes, French toast, omelettes, etc and it’s always great. It’s nice to just grab something on the weekend sometimes so this was a great find.

Love Mings, it’s a family favorite. Only drawback is that if it’s mobbed in there you’ll wait for a table. But the food and service are great! Always friendly, with great portions.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast at Ming’s with friends. We experienced great service, tasty food, and enjoyed the reasonable prices. The home fries were absolutely delicious. Small place with limited seating but we were accommodated quickly with our larger party. Would return!

This is by far the best place for breakfast in the area. Fresh squeezed OJ, great French toast, & perfect scrapple. It’s small so there’s usually a wait because this place isn’t a secret.

Food was great, short waiting time, staff was friendly, only downside is that they only take cash.

This is not your organic, pay 15 $ for a small plate of hipster nonsense! The food here is inexpensive and damn good. Classic little breakfast joint with great food and great service.

I loved the vibe here. The locals come in and she knows their orders. She’s upbeat and happy to serve you. Food was tasty and service was quick. I love that I can order 1 slice of french toast or 1 egg. Eggs are fresh eggs and I had a large hot tea I think its a 16 oz cup. I think she uses loose leaf tea too. The good stuff guys. Sriracha is a condiment on the table. You get plenty of potatoes. And they have tons of flavor.

I’ve never been here on a weekend, so blessedly I’ve never had to experience a wait for a seat. Everyone I know loves Ming’s. The coffee is always good and strong. When it’s warm out, I get the sweetened iced tea with lemon. Pancakes are enormous, like plate-sized, so keep that in mind when ordering. Home fries are to die for, so crisp and dotted with green onion. My breakfast pick? Egg, bacon and cheese on an everything bagel, with a side of home fries. You get a good amount of food for the money, and I feel the prices are super reasonable.

Everything was absolutely delicious I was apprehnsive because it was hard to find but it was very good. I felt welcomed and at home at little mom and pop shop that serve breakfast I’m not from this area but I recommend this spot. I only took away one star there was a young lady who walked in after I was ready to order and she was served first. It wasn’t that big of a deal just waited a little longer than expected but overall good spot

By far the best breakfast spot. Their home fries are to die for, as well as their French toast and homemade OJ. Love it here.

My husband and I FINALLY came here to try out their breakfast. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back any time soon. Good: 1) The staff is friendly. 2) The wait for the food isn’t too long. 3) They have a decent menu. 4) Big portions. Bad: 1) Ming’s ONLY takes CASH! 2) Some items on the menu are too expensive, for my taste anyway. 3) The food that my husband had did not sit in his stomach well at all. 4) My pancakes were burnt on on the outside but as you ate towards the middle, it seemed undercooked. How?! Overall, in my opinion, the food is not worth the price. I won’t be back any time soon.

Great place to have brunch. Its very small place in delco which is supported by locals. Their menu selection isn’t too special but what they do serve they always do a great job. You should always get a side of home fries/potatoes with your meal.

This place is amazing. You can’t go wrong with ordering one of their platters: Eggs your way, toast, a whopping side of home fries and some breakfast meat! All for under $ 8! Their pancakes are huge… and they must add some sort of special ingredient because they taste spectacular! Coffee and teas are freshly brewed… What more could you need? And if you get here early, the fresh squeezed orange juice is absolutely delicious! If you want a filling breakfast, this place will never fail you. Inexpensive prices for a ridiculously large amount of food. The staff is always friendly and the waitresses are very attentive to your every need. Weekends tend to be busy, but the wait is highly worth it!

Fantastic breakfast! This place is no joke. Be prepared to wait because the people know its good too, and they line up to get it. Try a little sriracha on those potatoes.

Oh Ming’s, what can I say that hasn’t been said? It’s the best breakfast in the area and a must try. The things they do the best, in my humble opinion, are the home fries(seasoned to perfection and enough for 3 people) and the thin pancakes that are slightly crispy on the top and sides — gooey in the middle and taste like a thin funnel cake with fresh banana on top! Support this neighborhood place, bring friends/family, and bring cash because it’s cash only.

Biggest and best breakfast in Delco, hands down. Inexpensive, huge portions, owner or manager always on site. Good teamwork between the grill and waitstaff. And Clean! They actually move everything around on the tables and scrub it clean. Rarely see that anymore. This place ISCLEAN and any reference to it being a dive is inaccurate. See my pics. Of interest is the fact you can get traditional American breakfasts and Asian items as well. Coffee is served hot the way it should be. Love it here.

I finally had the chance to experience Ming’s for breakfast, seeing I am always at another location. Nice little spot to enjoy a pretty good meal, that was somewhat packed. I was suprised to see this place was somewhat packed during the week, in the summer no less. I could only imagine what kind of mayhem is unleashed during the weekends with the limited seating. I ordered the pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and ham for my breakfast. One thing I will say is this, they covered my whole plate! Great googly moogly(snickers commercial) they are no joke with this. I’ve heard the tales and the rumors of Ming’s being plate fillers. The rumors are true I tell you, my pancakes that I had ordered were GINORMOUS. It is so big that they had to fold part of it to fit onto my plate, this is so the scrambled eggs and complimentary sliced bananas could fit. The pancakes were good, not too fluffy though, not that this bothered me. The eggs I had were scrambled with cheese(my choice) they were ok, a little runny, but still were good. Gotta love it when you see Sriracha on the table waiting for you to go crazy with it! My last and final side was a slice of ham I opted for. This too is not small, a nice thick cut that came off the grill. Service was fast and friendly, so the wait time is barely there. I am assuming this is this way they run things, due to the lack of seating. The place is clean and bright, but you would think different from the outside looking in. Parking can be tricky, there is metered parking along the street, but do not park in the lot next to Ming’s. This is reserved for the Rite Aid customers, you will get towed. In all a nice little spot to get a pretty descent meal, better yet a filling meal to say. I’d gladly come back to peruse their menu some more.

A decent place to get Breakfast! This dive in Drexel Hill is a very clean restaurant. Just make sure you arrive early on the weekends, It can get quite busy especially on Sundays after Church. I have eaten here twice now because I had cash readily available. I hardly carry cash, it’s plastic for this patron. The coffee was piping hot and it didn’t take the food long to arrive after we ordered. The French toast was okay I was just expecting 3 pieces. Especially after I saw the pancakes They are HUGE, they take up the whole plate. Bacon was very crispy. Sampled the wife’s hash browns, they were okay as well. They were browned and scattered with scallions. Just wished for maybe some peppers and a little paprika. All beverages are served in plastic cups. I guess to keep the dish washing to a minimum. Have also had the eggs which were good as well. So if you are in the area and looking for a tasty breakfast give Ming’s a try, you will not be disappointed. Just remember to bring your CASH and some change for the meters. Parking is on the street, you are not permitted to park in the Rite Aid lot.
