Werth Photography

My husband and I hired Matt and Laurie Werth to photograph our engagement session and wedding in the summer of 2013. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them! Not only is their photography out of this world, but they’re are extremely sweet and fun people. We spent our engagement session and our wedding day laughing with the two of them (which is probably why our smiles are so genuine). They’re creative and enthusiastic and it definitely helps that there are 2 of them! One of the biggest perks of having two fantastic photographers was that prior to the ceremony they were able to capture shots of both of us getting ready.
Another great thing about Matt and Laurie is their turn-​around time. The fact that they «leaked» a photo from our engagement session and our wedding day on Facebook a day or two after each event was such an exciting surprise! A few days after the «leak», they put up a blog post with some sweet words about our wedding and a bunch more pictures. About 2 weeks after our event, they provided us with a link to all of our high res pictures and we received a DVD with the jpegs in the mail. I know plenty of couples that wait months for their photos. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long!
Of course, one of the most important factors to consider when hiring a vendor is pricing. Werth Photography are extremely fairly priced. Like I said, we couldn’t have been happier!
We had met with a few other photographers prior to meeting Matt and Laurie and were really unsure. Once we met the Werths, we knew immediately we wanted to work with the two of them. Not only did we have amazing engagement and wedding photos, but we developed a lasting relationship with them. We look forward to hiring them for other big life events in the future. The Werths create magic with their warm personalities and amazing photography skills! We have had nothing but compliments on our engagement and wedding photos — although our locations were gorgeous, we know a lot of that had to do with the excitement, comfort and charm Laurie and Matt bring to their work. They are unobtrusive yet interested, capturing moments that matter and ones that we didn’t even know mattered until we saw their beautiful shots. Anyone would be lucky to have them shoot their events!

Matt and Laurie are incredibly talented and creative wedding photographers. They come up with truly unique shots and will go to great lengths to capture them. After our wedding, we promptly received hundreds of photographs on our CD from the Werths, and each one we could have displayed in our home. In addition to being awesome photographers, they are extremely professional, reliable, and easy to work with. They were also super responsive in all communications with them — from booking our engagement photos to my questions leading up to the wedding. I could not have been more pleased with our experience, and I HIGHLY recommend them.
