I took advantage of a special offer last fall where Shawn offered a one-​hour portrait session providing a total of 10 final images. It was a great experience all around. Shawn arrived on time for the scheduled session and was prepared in every way. He took photos outside first, then we moved inside for some additional shots. I collect art and I wanted some of the paintings in the background. Shawn did a great job of framing the shots to feature the interior architecture and collection. He has a very unassuming and friendly manner which puts the subject at ease. You never feel like you’re being posed or made to do anything awkward for the camera. Afterwards, as a bonus, in addition to the 10 «best picks» he gave me some of the outtakes which were equally well shot. Look at his portfolio and you’ll see the level of his work.
