The restaurant was very clean. The employees were very polite and knew what they were doing. My children and I got blizzards and they were all fantastic. This is an older restaurant but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. we will definitely go back.

First off, service is horrible. They frequently close off large portions of the dining room to «clean» during busy meal times. Despite having the rest of the dining room cleared off, not only were they sweeping best people trying to eat, the employee hit my foot with the broom. This Dairy Queen needs a complete staff turnover and new management.

I’m not a huge fan of the«one star review», but I feel the public needs to know. About 4:30/4:45 pm on 8÷3÷15, I walked in the door, placed my order, found a clean table and prepared to wait on my meal. I was exhausted, just wanted someplace cool and fairly quiet to collect my thoughts on the day. I was the only customer in the restaurant, but had trouble finding a clean place to sit. A few minutes before my meal was delivered, a family appeared at the counter, and ordered food. There was a very young toddler with them, and she sounded tired and cranky, and was very loud. I prayed that they didn’t sit near me. To my surprise, they did just that! With all the other tables, they chose the one closest to mine. After getting settled in their booth, with their cranky child, I noted that they were all(or mostly all of them) were wearing DQ shirts, goodness me, they were either employees or the owners. The child sat there through my entire meal, crying and fussing. If I hadn’t already started eating, I would have moved! They didn’t have the common curtesy to try and quiet their child, but kept poking at her and teasing her. They could also have chosen to sit at a table far away from anyone else, as to not bother them. I love DQ, and this location is the best for me, but next time I want to visit DQ, I may think twice about it.

I actually like Dairy Queen tacos, but this location ruined them for me. Soggy! Not sure what you guys are doing — too much grease in the meat? Or racking up the tacos too early so they sit there? But they fell apart in my hands. Need some quality control.

Just left after waiting 5 minutes in line and with a big crowd behind waiting, the cashier asked another customer if she had been helped, she replied yes then the young man immediately blew me off to do something that completely didn’t matter. On top of that, its quite evident to me they only employ their own hispanic race. Haven’t seen any other diversity in there in about a year or two.

This Dairy Queen is horrible! First, we had three simple orders including a peanut butter sundae, brownie cookie dough blizzard, and a cookie dough blizzard. The man that took our order through the drive through COULDNOT get our order down. After we waited forever to get upto the window, even though they weren’t busy just slow, they told us they didn’t have any peanut butter. Which with how long it took them to get our order right they should have been able to tell us when we ordered. So while we were waiting at the window the COULDNOT stop starring at my friend in the passenger seat, which in my opinion they were there to work not be checking out girls. Lastly, the cookie dough blizzard only had a couple of pieces of cookie dough and neither of the blizzards were mixed all the way to the bottom.

Staff has terrible attitude and seems put out to have to deal with customers. Food is typical DQ, good flavor and value. Live in Dripping Springs but won’t be back. Second time we’ve been here and received the same service.

Fast food is a misnomer. Quite possibly the slowest drive-through experience I’ve ever had.

After reading the below reviews, I’m a bit perplexed as to what these people expect. We are talking about a Dairy Queen. If I expected a waiter in a shirt/tie and fine cuisine I wouldn’t expect to get it in 3 minutes and pay 8 bucks for it. This restaurant did a wonderful job and nailed my order. My fries were crispy and my ice cream was cold. What else can you ask for? Oh yea, and my cashier Jacob even flipped over my oreo blizzard not once, but twice. For a Dairy Queen, I really couldn’t ask for more.

Rat food and lousy service — the icecream is good — but to bear the service to get it is not worth it — the bathrooms look like something you would find at rock concert outside in the port-o-lets

Oh my. This DQ only has 2 reviews and both one star. Wow. Well, shoot, what am I going to do. I have to be honest. I did not find the place dirty. The folks working there were nice. The burgers are barely discernible hidden in a giant buttered bun, though. They really aren’t very good burgers at all. The onion rings are ok, though. Oh, although we couldn’t eat all our burgers so we took one home and stuck it in the fridge. The next day, we nuked it and it actually tasted better than the fresh burgers we had the day before. What I really like here is the vanilla chocolate dipped cone. Those are quite wonderful. So if I combine the one and a half stars for the burger, the four stars for the cone and the two and a half stars for the onion rings… oh, and add the generally nice people… I guess I have to stretch it up to 3 stars. Barely. Barely. Once I had a DQ burger out by 183 near Loyola and it was a seriously great burger. It was juicy and meaty and not at all like the one here. Not at all. So… yeah, this is probably the worst DQ in the Austin area.

Sad what has become of this Dairy Queen. Way over priced for the quality of the product and the effort they put into it. And I would have to agree with others that this place needs a very thorough cleaning. The dining area reminded me of a public bathroom. Had the Bacon Cheeseburger meal. The bacon was practically raw. It was fairly good quality bacon but it was way under cooked. Perhaps they steam the bacon there. I dont know. I had to take the bacon off and that was ashame because the meat patty was maybe a 1⁄6 pound of meat. The meat patty was really small compared to the bun size. I think they used a kids patty on my burger. Seriously it was no bigger than a patty on a McDonalds cheeseburger that you can buy for 99 cents. Fries were good and the kids seemed to enjoy the blizzards. But for me eating there, I think this is my last attempt. Sorry DQ, Dripping Springs, but there is a new McDonalds right next door now and y’all are in trouble.

This DQ is, with out a doubt, the worst DQ ever. Ever. Let me sum it up for you. FILTHY. I mean horrendous. Take a seat in the dining area, and look around. The support bars under the seats are nasty — caked with grime and cobwebs. Gross. The light fixtures, the ceiling, the ceiling vents and area near those vents are all in sick need of cleaning. Disgust-a-moon-doh. Double YUCK. Seriously every inch of this place is an embarrassment to health codes. There is a huge planter in the store, plant long since gone, and it sits there. As did the owner/manager??? Yes folks, he sat in the rear of the restaurant on his laptop. Clearly unaffected by the condition of this establishment — which again, is HORRENDOUS. You feel me? Ew. The only thing okay about this location is the fact that you can get frozen confections by the box, such as Star Kiss and Dilly Bars. I actually had a meal there a few months ago, and it was inedible. Worst. Food. Ever. Our children wouldn’t touch the fries or chicken strips. Soft serve is as it should be, but after seeing the surrounding environment I feel queasy at the thought of it. I feel sorry for the kids behind the counter. Dripping Springs isn’t enormous and I know there must not be a wide variety of open jobs in fast food. Let me just warn you — if you are craving DQ, drive clear in to Austin and spare yourself the disappointment with a side of disgust. Shame on you DQ Dripping Springs!
