Absolutely zero communication between staff and the owner. When I called the owner I was met with a confrontational attitude before I was able to describe the reason for my call. What we encountered with the staff was a group of people who cared very little about the job of coaching baseball. Next to no one on one coaching and not much in the department of skills and drills. Overall a terrible experience. Truly disappointed.

We are new to Hill Country but so far we are very pleased overall. I am seeing improvements in my son that are well worth the money. When you calculate how much training and attention your kid is receiving it’s a much better deal than a private coach. This is serious baseball. If you’re not serious… stay in recreational ball. Not to say there is anything wrong with rec ball because we enjoyed many years of that too.

Sadly, did not meet our expectations. Contractual agreements blatantly disregarded. Poor to no communication; often no explanation given for changes, short notice for practices and cancellations. Payment is required upfront, and then you’re forced to either accept outrageous situations or walk away from your investment. We have gotten more individualized coaching, practice and play time with non-profits for a fraction of this cost.

. 6÷30÷2009 I have a son that played at Hill Country for one season it was our first and definitely our LAST!!! These scums are the most unethical people that I have encountered. They are very unfair and go as low as belittling the children and swearing at them. The one thing that stands out the most is «Get your ass out on the field» I dont know about you but I dont talk to my son that way and you better believe some low class wanna be coach is not going to either! The lady above mentioned that it is lik read more«e a cult I strongly agree with her and have thought the same thing. Anyone that claims to be happy with this facility must be on crack its only because they have their noses so far up the coaches rearends! If your nose isint brown then they dont play your children and therefore use your child to be a fill in! They just take your $ 300.00 a month and abuse you and your child. As far as being a «select league» this is nothing more then a high priced rec league! Please do yourself a favor and stay away! «show less

Hill Country Baseball Academy is a new addition to the Select Baseball groups in the Austin area. Coach Jonathan Paiz, the director, has chosen some amazing young men to coach, instruct, and befriend all the kids that are part of this organization. There are several teams under the HC Baseball name, as well as private lessons and clinics.
