Memory Lane Event Center

On my quest to find a wedding venue I found myself at Memory Lane’s open house. I found this venue to be neat, clean and welcoming. The property is nicely landscaped and the outdoor ceremony space is very well done. You will notice in older photos that the aisle is grass, when I arrived I found that same area covered in nice flag stone. The seating on each side of the aisle is white metal bench style. It is a very different then the seating I have seen at other venues and I must say I prefer it. It looks neat and it is a permanent installation. It’s perfect the only thing needed might be some fabric draping and a couple of flowers.
The inside ceremony space is rustic and very country looking. It’s Texas and I have come to the conclusion the majority of spaces are similar to this. The floors are wood as is the wall and the ceiling. The outside cocktail area is flag stone surrounding an attractive tree.
This place has a pool and guest accommodations for about 10 people. Two of the units are private and the other rooms are more of a standard house situation. It wasn’t super fancy but it seems to me if your having a lot of out of town guests… This might be a great option. Let’s be honest after a huge celebration who wants to get on the road and drive 30 minutes to an hour to get to their hotel.
I almost booked this place, the only thing holding me back was I decided I wanted to be closer to Austin.

After getting engaged, my fiancé and I took a couple of weeks for it to sink in. Once we where ready, we reached out to our church and started to look for venues. I can’t even remember, but somehow we saw Memory Lane’s open house and we decided to check them out. We had a tour by Thalia and after we left we decided to call them back and take advantage of the open house special. We fell in love with the rustic, yet sophisticated, look of the reception hall. We fell in love with the outdoor grounds with the luscious trees and pool, plus the beautiful guest house was included with overnight accommodations.
The staff has wedding planning down to include every detail. We visited the venue probably 3 times after booking, and the last meeting helped the staff to ensure all my dreams and wishes came true. Most of my vendors were new to them, thus the extra visits out there. Their flexibility with the vendors helped us keep the budget in check. After looking for a day-​of-​coordination, ML not only had the best deal, but I was confident I could count on their experience.
On our wedding day 8÷1÷15, we got married in a church in downtown Austin, and then we had everyone drive out to Memory Lane. It was a bit of a drive, but we knew that our guests would love it out there. We arrived at ML just in the nick of time, as per our timeline. ML staff helped me adjust my dress for the reception and off we were to be announced as husband and wife into the reception hall. I felt so lucky to have worked with Thalia, Gaby, and Uleta. Due to the hot Texas heat (over 100 degrees) we set up a cocktail hour in the lodge (in the guests cabin), but we also set up cocktail tables outside the reception hall next to the Margarita/​Piña Colada bar. We also set up a cornhole game on their lawn, and a cigar hour outdoors.
The Mariachi band started on cue, and dinner buffet was ready. I literally had «My Big Fat Mexican Wedding» at ML. I wasn’t expecting any dancing during dinner, but my family got really excited with the Mariachis, that the dancing started right away. We also did the traditional «Vibora de la Mar», which ML staff had never experienced before. It involves the groom and bride standing on chairs and creating a bridge, while all the ladies create a super fast Congo line that goes all around the entire reception hall. The ML staff was extremely attentive out all the needs and wants throughout the entire night, they were all smiles, which to me was super important that they appeared approachable to my family, guests, and vendors. All my guests had a wonderful time.
We loved being able to invite our guests to hangout a little longer at the after party at the guests house. We took full advantage of the pool and hot tub. I highly recommend having people willing to help clean up, we are super thankful that our wedding party ensure we left everything as required by ML.
My only concern was the following: they advertised a capacity of 250, but I was sweating it. After looking at the table layout, I was hoping we only had 220 rsvp’s. We were able to squeeze 24 tables (240 guests), but it was tight. It all worked out at the end. Since it was buffet style, we set up two buffet tables (one at the back of the dance floor), which was dismantled after dinner.
We also used their rental company for the additional tables, chairs, and linens. Their service included setup and take down, which we truly appreciated.
Thalia and Gaby were amazing at listening and catering to my wishes to ensure we would have a memorable wedding day. Their day-​of-​coordination services were everything and more than I expected. Overall, the place and the staff were exceptional. We loved celebrating our big day at Memory Lane.

We were so please to have had our wedding at Memory Lane, the venue is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. Everyone went above and beyond for our wedding in October and our wedding day was so stress free. Everyone there is truly amazing!

This was a wonderful venue nestled in TX Hill Country. Well manicured grounds and vintage details give a lot of added character. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ability to stay on premises is a wonderful addition.

Everything about this venue is Perfect! Every inch of the place is gorgeous! There is ivy, cactus, beautiful trees, a pool, a horse and donkey, views of the hill country and on and on! It is perfect Texas hill country setting! The staff are absolutely wonderful! They made my vision come to life and exceeded my expectations! They kept us calm with the crazy pre-​wedding rush. They were SO organized! They made sure my husband and I had a drink at all times, were fed, and had backup food/​cake in our room. We booked the venue dj and bartenders, which was very convenient. They too exceeded our expectations! The venue has a huge beautiful lodge on-​site for 15 to stay with a private lodge for bride and groom. I recommend you do stay the night with the bridal party! The stars come out so bright and there is a pool/​hot tub to relax in after all the craziness of the wedding. If you are looking for a venue, look no more! This place cannot be topped!

I am so glad I chose Memory Lane as my wedding venue. We got married here on May 30, 2015 after all the flooding. The morning was a bit stressful because there were impending thunderstorms and rain that were supposed to happen right around our outdoor ceremony time.
I expressed to my day of coordinators (Gaby and Emily) that I wanted to do everything that was possible to keep the wedding ceremony outdoors. The main reason we chose the venue was because the venue is absolutely gorgeous outdoors with the big trees and beautiful arbor. My day of coordinators were AMAZING! They were constantly checking in with me and giving me updates on the weather situation and even though it rained a little bit, they wiped down all the aisle seats and made it happen!
Throughout the entire reception, they kept things moving very smoothly and always checked in with me and the groom to make sure we were having a good time and didn’t need anything. They remained calm when a whole group of unexpected guests showed up. Later in the evening, they also mentioned to me and the photographer that there was a beautiful sunset outside and I’m so grateful to get those pictures! If you choose this venue, definitely get the day of coordinators, they will make your day go by so smoothly so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
The rest of the staff here are also amazing, so organized, and super responsive! They would respond to most emails that same day and no later than the next day. In terms of the wedding venue, the site is absolutely gorgeous! The venue includes use of the bridal suite (which is huge!), a groom’s suite, and an option of night of lodging as well. They also provide linen services, on-​site DJ, and floral. We decided to use the on-​site DJ and he was great! If you are looking for a rustic location in the beautiful hill country, this venue is it! Thank you Memory Lane for everything!

This review is for Wild Bunches Floral — not the Memory Lane Event Center. Wild Bunches Floral was the florist for my spring wedding at the Ma Maison. Wild Bunches was a dream to work with. After bad experiences with multiple different florists, I was both relieved and thankful to have found them. They were affordable and the quality of the bouquets and floral arrangements were outstanding. The florist team listened to what I wanted and they delivered exactly what I was envisioning. I literally jumped up and down the moment I saw the bouquets and arrangements. Thank you to the Wild Bunches team for help making my day a beautiful day to remember!

What can I say about Memory Lane? SO MUCH!
After months of planning our dream wedding, we can gladly say «We’re married!», and it was all due to the massive help from Memory Lane staff. From the very beginning everyone was super helpful– and we needed a lot! From planning to final meetings to the big day, we were happy with how everything turned out.
Our wedding was perfect! No stress, all of us started on time, and the coordinators are LIFESAVERS! I would have had no clue when to walk down the aisle, when to first dance, how to throw a bouquet, without these girls. They helped us immensely throughout the day and we are so pleased with how everything turned out. Our families were so happy to be able to enjoy the day without running around for us– thank you to all of the Memory Lane family that made this happen!
We also used the in house florists, Wild Bunches, which was amazing and so easy. Our bouquets were colorful, exactly how I wanted them and they were really great working with our budget!
And after the whole shindig, we stayed in the residence after the wedding, which was ideal so our wedding party didn’t have to drive back to hotels. I felt like a princess the whole day!

I could not have been happier with Memory Lane… the location, setting, staff and overall ambiance of this venue made my wedding day absolutely perfect. Everything was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our wedding weekend at Memory Lane. We stayed at the venue for the weekend and it was very accommodating for our friends & family. We had the rehearsal dinner in the banquet hall on Friday which was so convenient and personable. When our wedding day turned wet, the ladies at ML made it very easy to move the ceremony inside. Everyone talked about how intimate & beautiful it was. We couldn’t be happier with the venue and our wedding overall. It was a beautiful setting and great venue. Memory Lane was the perfect spot for our wedding. It was the last venue we looked at and instantly knew that THIS was where we HAD to be married. Words cannot express the happiness my husband and I have as we are sitting here reminiscing about the picture perfect day we experienced at Memory Lane celebrating our brand new marriage with all of our friends and family. The staff was very patient, friendly, and most importantly informative throughout the wedding planning process. They were very prompt with emails and kind reminders for us throughout the year and a half we worked with them. The day of wedding coordinator is a MUST! The day of your wedding is a whirlwind and the staff makes everything easy and stress free. The lodging is wonderful and worked out well us and all of our out of town family members. We used the in-​house DJ (Joshua was awesome) as well as several other in house options. All of the guests had a wonderful time and we still get compliments on the beautiful venue! Memory Lane is a fabulous place to have a wedding and the value cannot be beat!

Memory Lane was the perfect choice for our wedding and I would recommend them to anyone (and already have!). We first looked at Memory Lane because we wanted a venue that had the hill country rustic charm, but also affordable, and we totally got it with Memory Lane. When we toured everyone was excited and proud of their venue, which made me even more excited. We booked that day because I knew it was the perfect spot.
Between the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site to the beautiful rustic indoor reception site, the whole property was beautiful and well maintained. One cool feature they have is overnight lodging. We didn’t use it since we lived close enough to the venue, but it was a great space to have the day of, and definitely helpful for those who have a lot of out of town guests.
The best thing about Memory Lane was the communication. Communication is very important to me. I am a quick at responding to emails and I get antsy when others aren’t. Memory Lane was my dream vendor when it came to communicating. They were ALWAYS quick to respond to emails, always friendly, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions (even though I was). Every time I made a change to something, which was often, they were quick to get new invoices to me and happy to make any adjustments to the plan.
I was never once worried how the wedding day would go. I tend to be a slight control freak, but I felt completely confident in the coordinators to handle everything. We had the rehearsal the day before and it was quick and easy (once my family stopped talking and getting distracted). On the actual day, everything was perfect and beautiful. They were so helpful, on top of things, and excited for me. They made me feel very special on my big day and made sure that everything went smoothly. I couldn’t be happier with how the day went. Everything was so organized and beyond my expectations. A lot of guests kept telling me and my family how perfect it all was too. Thank you Memory Lane for making my wedding dreams come true! :)

Memory Lane is one of the most beautiful venues we have ever seen! The setting is amazing because you really feel like you’re alone in the hill country but conveniently you’re still so close to Austin and Dripping Springs. We looked at many venues before we decided to go with Memory Lane. I had attended a few events there before and also did hair and makeup for weddings there so I knew how beautiful it was but I was worried I would have all those weddings in my mind and not be able to see it as my wedding venue. Any other venue we toured though I couldn’t help but compare to ML. I loved so much about that place. The bridal suite most importantly, it’s very open and you can look out onto the ceremony site to see your guests arriving. It’s perfect for getting ready with all your bridesmaids too, perfect room for some great pre-​wedding photos, and easy for your hair/​makeup artist (which they will appreciate, I know!) A completely separate grooms suite, so the guys have a great place to get ready but no worries of him seeing you. Outdoor paved ceremony site: you don’t have to worry about the condition of the grass or about any bugs crawling on your feet and up your dress. The lodge for the bridal party (or whoever you’d like) to spend the night. That’s just a few of the things that were must haves on my dream venue list but no place seemed to have them all, except Memory Lane. So I decided to take the tour and it only took about 5 seconds for me to realize that it would feel like my own and it was perfect. We had a couple meetings to put together all the details. They were great at helping me put my dream wedding vision together. I sent a million emails and the girls always responded quickly and were always so sweet! It was great using the in house floral, Wild Bunches, too.
Memory Lane could not have been any more wonderful on the actual wedding day! The pavilion looked amazing! They brought everything in my mind and what we had talked about to life. Everyone is so sweet out there so it just makes it fun to be around them and makes you feel very at ease. We had Rachel, Gaby and Abby as our coordinators for the ceremony and they were so great. Abby waited upstairs with me until it was time for me to walk down the aisle and she was so helpful in keeping me calm! Rachel and Abby were at the reception and just amazing! Rachel was so on top of things, I never had to worry about anything! They just told us where we needed to be or what we needed to do while they made sure everything was going smoothly and on schedule. I can be a bit of a stresser so it was really nice not worrying about what time it was or what was happening! If anything went wrong (which I don’t think it did) they must’ve fixed it right away and did a great job of not letting me find out! I’m so thankful for those girls being there for us. It definitely wouldn’t have gone the same without them! I know if I had gone with any other venue I would’ve been disappointed and wishing I’d gone with ML. It really was a dream come true day and I owe so much of that to Thalia, Rachel, Gaby, Abby, and all the girls of Memory Lane. Thank you so much!!!

My husband and I recently got married at Memory Lane’s new venue, La Hacienda. We were so confident in the Memory Lane staff that we booked our date before the venue was even completed. They were wonderful at keeping us up to date on the progress, which was important to us because we live four hours away. Every person that we interacted with at Memory Lane was professional and caring; we could tell they truly wanted our wedding to be special. All communications were answered quickly and they made sure to get the TV hooked up in the groom’s suite so that the guys wouldn’t feel the need to go elsewhere until the last minute lol
La Hacienda is truly beautiful. The limited pictures available so far really don’t do it justice, and they are still making improvements. I was very impressed with how well thought out the layout was, number of electrical outlets available, etc.
I cannot say enough about the staff. They are a huge reason why the day of the wedding I had NO STRESS. Seriously. The only thing I stressed about was that my gift to my new mother-​in-​law got left at the hotel. Thalia was A-​Mazing. She definitely went above and beyond for us. My friend/​unofficial wedding coordinator is still raving about how easy Thalia made things for her. She’s worked with a LOT of venues and she said by far, Memory Lane has been the best. The coordinator package was absolutely worth it. Everything ran smoothly and on time.
Additional services include DJ, bartenders and onsite florist (Wild Bunches).
I heard over and over again how beautiful and how perfect our wedding was. Our guests had a wonderful time and kept saying it was like a fairytale. If you’re looking to get married in the hill country, you won’t find a better place. I started with a list of 102 venues and Memory Lane/​La Hacienda outshone them all.

This is the PERFECT venue! Not only is the location gorgeous. you can stay here and accommodate family and friends during your special day. The staff is beyond incredible and professional. They make the day just… flawless. I was nervous about the rain pushing us inside, and Memory Lane kept the most positive and up to date on the radar. The sky cleared and the entire evening was perfect. Maybe they have magic up their sleeves ;)
Either way, you will not regret choosing this as your venue for ANY event.

Memory Lane was absolutely perfect for our wedding! This was the first and only venue we looked at. My husband and I live in Houston but both love the Hill Country, and wanted a venue that captured the beauty of it and Memory Lane did just that. The outdoor ceremony site is absolutely gorgeous and there is always a breeze so even in the hottest summers, its fine. The reception pavilion is beautiful and needs little to no decoration. Our wedding party loved the house and the pool and had a great time the night of the wedding. The staff was always helpful and put up with my indecisiveness. We made multiple trips there for no reason other than planning out decorations and they were always welcoming and answered any questions we had. Even outside of regular business hours, my emails were answered quickly, even the ones with completely pointless questions.
If you’re looking for a great venue with good value, this is your place! It’s such a simple venue, but absolutely perfect if you want to capture the charm of the Hill Country. So many of our guests complimented us on it and everyone had a great time. I have no complaints at all!

Memory Lane was the perfect venue for our wedding! We absolutely LOVED the fact that we could have our ceremony outside in the beautiful hill country setting and our reception indoors in the gorgeous event facility. The staff at Memory Lane cannot be topped. The girls were SO HELPFUL! I would email them with questions all throughout the planning process and always got a response back very promptly. Rachel and Gabby worked the actual wedding (I HIGHLY recommend the day-​of wedding coordinator package), and they were awesome! Thalia did our rehearsal and she was patient and kind and made the process very easy. We rented the linens through Memory Lane and went with their in-​house DJ services — both of which were perfect. You will not be disappointed with this venue! I highly recommend Memory Lane!

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Memory Lane. As soon as we pulled up for the open house, I knew this was our wedding venue. All of the staff we worked with were genuinely kind, positive people; the kind of people you need on your big day! They were so helpful and you could tell they all care about the people they work with and love what they do. The venue is beautiful and the price is very reasonable for all you get. They kept everything stress-​free for the bride and groom, and totally knew their stuff! They were prepared for anything! If you are looking for a wedding venue in Hill Country, I highly recommend Memory Lane. They are a pleasure to work with, the venue is gorgeous, and the staff works so hard to make your day special. Thank you so much for making our day magical– we will never forget it!

We could not have been more happy with Memory Lane or the staff at Memory Lane. Our wedding was 9÷21÷13. What we loved about ML was that it was already so beautiful without having to have a lot of decorations. Some of the decorations they have are already included in the price, and the beauty of the place means you don’t have to spend a fortune making it look nice.
We hired the ML staff as day-​of coordinators, and could not speak more highly of them. Thalia handled the rehearsal, and even the minister commented that she was really good at her job. Gabby was fantastic on the wedding day! All of the staff worked well together and the day flowed smoothly. They brought my husband and me drinks while we took photos, and set up dinner for us in a side room so we could quickly eat before seeing everyone at the reception.
Planning before the wedding was also so easy. They were super responsive to e-​mails, and took care of any questions we had promptly.
Regarding the ceremony site, we were a little worried about having an outdoor wedding in September, and we were worried that it was going to be hot. We lucked out on getting a fantastic weather day, but what we found was that when we visited at 4:00 pm in June and at 6:00 in August, the outside ceremony site was still pleasant. We were asked by so many guests how we found ML because they loved it so much, and my parents could not have been happier with the location.
And finally, Wild Bunches Florist, which is the on-​site florist… fantastic! I was a little hesitant to use them because I didn’t know how good an on-​site florist would be, however, when I saw the flowers for the first time, I was elated. They were exactly what I wanted. Elizabeth had two meetings with me and apparently understood what I wanted more than I did because she hit the nail on the head!
I cannot say enough nice things. ML made the wedding process relatively easy and our wedding day all that we could have wanted.

Let me start by saying that this was probably THE most incredible customer service experience I have EVER had ANYWHERE! My husband and I worked mainly with Thalia, who is the sweetest, most genuinely caring people I’ve ever met. I can’t tell you how many run-​ins I had with wedding appointments with people who acted like they had so many things they’d rather be doing than helping me with my wedding. Thalia gets it. She understands that everyone has their own special day and while she’s seen so many, that doesn’t discount anyone else’s. She is genuinely happy for you and so excited to help. I don’t think I could have kept my head on strait. Did I mention she’s super patient?
Now I raved about Thalia, but let me mention that each and every other staff member here is also amazing. They truly do an amazing job about making everyone comfortable.
I got married here back in September, 2011 right at the end of the drout, but the grass was still green and the breeze on the hills helped a lot with the heat. We did the overnight package, which I highly recommend especially if you have a lot of out-​of-​town guests. Some venues charge as much just for the evening, but with this package, you have the venue from about 2pm the day of until about 12pm the following day. There are a number of rooms with multiple beds, a great room to keep the party going after the wedding reception has ended, a full kitchen to store snacks, leftovers (cake, yum!) and breakfast for the next day. They also have a pool (open when it’s the right season, of course) and a jacuzzi!
I really wish there was a way to give Memory Lane 10 stars because I just cannot stress enough how happy I am with my experience. They should seriously consider making another business on how to train people in customer service! Thanks Memory Lane!
