Texaco Hamilton Market

I pull up for ice. The ice box outside front door is locked. (Did not know there was another one around the corner). So I walk inside and ask the clerk «is there ice in the machines?» His remark was «why are you asking me?»… Really? Because you work there… Wow!

The men’s bathroom is a joke. No need for details but if you need to use the restroom, this is not your place. Gas stations that don’t give a shit about their restrooms should move operations to Mexico or (insert 3^rd world country here).

My husband and I made a trip to Hamilton Pool today and found out from an officer directing traffic that the entrance fee is 15, cash only. The officer directed us to a gas station ATM up the road. We went in, my husband used the ATM and I went to visit the restroom. Both women’s and men’s rooms had signs saying out of order. A third, bathroom was there «for employees only.» I waited, when a young women, a worker in the store came out, she told us it wasn’t a restroom (I could see a sink, heard a flush and knew her comment wasn’t true.) I showed her the signs, and she said «yes,. Out of order.» I asked again if both were out of order and if there were any bathrooms. She responded no to both, no apology and walked away. We were going to top off our tank, but beverages as well as cash, but given the lack of human compassion and Assumedly, as this is also a food establishment (fast food chicken) health code violation, decided not to spend another minute in the place.

The area has very little gas stations to stop at but this location makes up for it because they have food, gas, and a nice clean convenience store also. The gas is Texaco and the convenience store part is their own family-​owned. Nice, clean and new building.
