Super friendly owner, the ice cream tastes fresh and natural, we especially liked the salty Carmel frozen yoghurt. Old world charm combined with Texan hospitality. It is one of those hidden diamonds that exemplifies the Texan spirit.

Really tasty ice cream, good frozen yogurt, friendly staff. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re passing through Dripping Springs. My favorite flavors are Mexican Vanilla and Pecan. They also have candies and popcorn.

Have you ever had that moment where you wonder if there’s any good ice cream around you? It just happened that we were driving back from Hamilton Pool when said craving struck me. Lo and behold the big drip happened to be around corner. Delicious homemade Texan ice cream with generous servings this place hits all the marks. Throw in some fun games like checkers, giant Legos and even the infamous Mr. Potato Head and you have a dripping springs winner. My recommendation is the cookie dough; massive cookie chunks in tasty vanilla ice cream

THE place to meet, hang out, or just stop by in Dripping Springs. I live in Blanco, and have been looking for a good place to arrange meetings with colleagues who live in Austin, and Drippong Springs is ideal geographically because it’s half way. But till I found The Big Drip, I had never found the ideal place. The menu is perfect for a munch or drink, the facility is comfortable and clean, and the staff is eager to serve and immediatly make you feel at home. Now I want to make the drive just to take my wife & kids — there’s just something special & nostalgic about the place. It’s the way things used to be in a simpler time, and SHOULD still be today.

Now this is a place with good coffee and tea and local flair! Very cool stone building, beautifully decorated, you can tell the owner cares about the locals and supports the community. Tammy owns the place and made us feel so at home that we didn’t want to leave. Reminds me of days gone by…

I love this place. The icecream is made locally and you can taste it! My son ordered peach cobbler icecream. I nearly ate half of it. I love the crust and fresh peaches in it. I ordered coffee icecream and it was really creamy and strong. The atmosphere was relaxed with games, and live music. The variety of icecream ranged from your typical chocolate and vanilla to lavendar and exotic varieties. YUM! I highly recomend this hole in the wall! Bring cash… they don’t accept credit cards.
