Sub par food. Service was nice. The flautitas were greasy and tasteless. Quesadillas were ok. It’s like a tex-​mex Dennys.

I’ve been to Trudy’s many times only to realize their food may be ok, but it makes my whole family sick!

My husband and I went to eat at Trudy’s earlier in the year. Our food was not good. Not prepared the way we wanted. We do not go to restaurants to drink alcohol, so the food is important. We noticed that they seem to be busy & was told that people go there for alcohol not the food.

My all-​time favorite Tex-​Mex restaurant. When I want to celebrate, Trudy’s is the place. Their famous Mexican Martinis are EPIC — by far the best Margarita I’ve ever had, served in an icy shaker that fills a martini glass four times. Strong and uniquely delicious, especially with extra olives. YUM. There’s a good reason we’re limited to two! Trudy’s also has great food, beginning with fresh chips, queso, guacamole and salsas. Shrimp chili rellenos, fajitas, migas, tortilla soup, and warm sopapillas with honey are standouts. The weekend brunch buffet includes a large variety of tasty entrees, sides and desserts — perfect with a mimosa. The atmosphere is classy casual, and the airy indoor/​outdoor patio is a favorite. Highly recommended!

Buyer beware: my wife got food poisoning from their Green Chili Cheeseburger last weekend. I called to inform them (I didn’t ask for anything in return), as I’m a small business owner and would want to know if I were in their shoes. I gave them good detail so they could identify the batch of meat. The manager balked and said they received a high score on their last health inspection, so it couldn’t have been their food. He said it must have been her breakfast (she didn’t have any) or dinner the night before (she and I ate together). They didn’t seem to care about improvement, so buyer beware. If you go there, I recommend you get meats cooked well done

End up getting roped into going to Trudy’s about once every 6 months, have been to this location 4 or 5 times. Its always the same, food is marginal at best, service sucks, food is over priced, and no one cares.

I had my husband’s retirement party on the rooftop at Trudy’s. The event manager, Coco was so nice and worked to accommodate every request I had. The tables looked great — set with plates, silverware, linens and candles. The food was great, and again, Coco accommodated every request I had about the menu. It was turn-​key and we only had to show up and enjoy the party. Even during the party, management constantly checked to make sure all was going well. We had so many guests tell us how much they enjoyed this event. I highly recommend Trudy’s for catered parties.

The food was cold and the service was awful. The waiter was not attentive and didn’t bring our complete order. I won’t be going back. I did speak with the manager that day and he did cover our meal and also gave us a gift card for our next visit. We didn’t want to go back so we just gave the gift card away. There are so many other places to eat with good food and good service. Stay away unless you just want to order drinks.

B! !Went to Trudys on Halloween all staff were dressed in Halloween gear they all looked great ! And the service was extent!!:I love this place and plan on going back soon ! I had a rum my fav my friend had her usual Miller lite in a bottle and we loved it !! If your in Dripping springs this place is a must try !! Way to good to pass up ! Do not pass by go in and enjoy ! Also they have like 6 big screen TV going on football games !
Rest room were extremely clean ! Matter of fact the whole place was very clean !! Once again don’t pass by go in and enjoy extent food, service, clean place, and treat yourself to the best in Dripping springs! !!
