Well, another corporation has made its way into the former sleepy town of Dripping Springs. But James, shouldn’t you be excited about a Walgreens someone asked? Let me give you the reasons why I was and the reason that I retracted my joy. First, they close at 10 which makes me sad. That late night call to pick up milk after I get off work sends me to Oak Hill after 10PM. I’ve noticed I can’t rely on Walgreens for milk anyway; all the Vitamin D milk expired the next day when I tried to buy it over the weekend. Little Rooster drinks alot of milk; but even he can’t polish off a gallon in 24 hours. Jenny used to have her meds filled at Walgreens until the Doctor switched her prescription. The pharmacist advised us that they did not have that particular medicine; so we switched to HEB which carries it. So that’s twice this new store doesn’t make our life any better; unless you count the«ASSEENONTV» section which makes me chuckle every visit. Look honey, I used the Mighty Putty to make a handle for my Ped Egg! The major plus for this store and the biggest factor in my rating is the staff. Every visit the folks are genuine and friendly. If they worked out the hours and the milk delima; I’d be happy to be a regular customer.
