I gotta say, don’t judge a book by its cover. This restaurant is housed in a building connected to a gas station. That said this Penn Station ran pretty well for us. Driving through, my girlfriend and I are staying at a hotel in Dry Ridge. We were psyched to hear a Penn Station was near. Despite the visual skepticism, when we walked in our experience was pretty good. The restaurant was clean with a drink and condiments area that was organized. The two gentlemen working took our order right away and the food took less than ten minutes to reach us. It was an 8″ Philly and a 10″ Chicken Teriyaki. The food was delicious as I’d hope. We also had a medium fry and it seemed like perhaps it was more than the normal medium. A delight because we shared it. After we ate and just kind of hung out to talk and digest, our trays were kindly retrieved as all other Penn Stations tend to. The surrounding area is a small town and a highway so it’s not much to look at but if you’re passing through or if you’re from around here, I’m pleased to see Dry Ridge has a Penn Station of quality.

Took 15 minutes to receive my food. Very unorganized staff, probably because they are also severely understaffed. Been that way every time I have gone there. Won’t be back at this location.

The manager here is a liar. Was promised gift certificate for carry out order that was so wrong. Never received nothing was promised in several emails. Too bad Penn Station food is good.

Came here on a Saturday around noon… Seat area was empty and there were a handful of people ahead of us. From order to eat took 15 minutes for my boyfriends order… 18 for mine… Not that I was counting :-) Not my idea of fast food. Once the food finally came out we realized we had two 6″ subs rather than one 6″ and one 8″ that was ordered. The gentleman that delivered the sub realized the error and said«let me go check». After further eating we realized that his sub was also missing the mushrooms ordered. Said«checking» took the length of my meal and patience. So when we’re were finished I went back to the same gentleman and he said he was just ready to come tell us there was another 6″ in the oven for us. Amends made but the second sub had mushrooms but different meat and no peppers. Alas the food was good and we found three pennies ;-) Summary: slow, orders botched, good food

This Penn Station is housed in what used to be a Dairy Queen, then a Hot Head Burritos. The remodel they did was great, as this is the best that the building has ever looked. The food is the same tasty subs and fries as any other Penn Station. The service at this location is better than most though. Even though they are relatively new, they have nailed in on every order I’ve had here. They’re a welcome addition to Dry Ridge.
