One of the best buffets in the area. Food is homemade and fresh and prices are reasonable. Try the fried chicken and the chicken and dumplings they are so tasty.

A good option when in the area!
As a frequent business traveler to small town America, I can say with confidence that this is a nice option for lunch if you’re in Du Quoin. The buffet was more fresh than most, with items such as mashed potatoes, stuffing, fried catfish, fried chicken and steamed veggies. The highlight of this restaurant is easily the soup/​salad bar; it’s much better than most diners in small towns. Fresh veggies with ample toppings, dressings and hot homemade soup.
Order yourself a sandwich with the salad/​soup bar and you’ll be a happy camper!

I’ll start by saying that I’m a harsh food judge and this place was seriously great! We came in for a rodeo in town and stumbled upon this place and WOW. The dinner buffet did not have a bad item. Everything was home made and tasted delicious. The included dessert pies were fantastic and made from scratch and everyone couldn’t get enough. Will be back the rest of the rodeo weekend.
