Amazing!!! I purchased windows from Annie and I couldn’t be happier. The quality of the windows and the sliding door are outstanding. They have a lifetime warranty and the price is very reasonable for the quality you receive. I will buy all my future windows and doors from Value. Thanks Annie!

Today, I had a scheduled appointment to get my windows installed. However, our rep Ken Li assured us that the installations «should» take place in the morning hours at approximately 9:30 a.m. The contractors arrived at 2:50 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they «claimed» they never would agreed to arriving at a certain time frame. And that they are to «show up whenever they want». The contractors were not only rude but they started yelling at us and was very hostile towards my family. Since they were installing front windows, we asked them to enter through the front door. That is when the contractors flip out and begin arguing and yelling at us AGAIN. Wow check that out… who knew customers pay for that kind of service. He not only threnten us but claimed they are going to quit and never will come back. Luckily, all the neighbors witnessed his rude behavior (not to mention yelling at the customers). Nice job advertising for the company!

Recently got my windows installed by them and absolutely love how they turned out. Hope they don’t leak though since I read several people had that concern. Till then I’m going to enjoy how amazing they turned out.

We have our shutters installed recently through value windows. Ken was very patient and professional when we inquired information. He e-​mailed us the price quote within an hour. He gave us good suggestions on how to choose the right product for our house. They came on time for the measurement and installed the shutters on the date as scheduled. We are really satisfied with their service.

Stella finally called me back last Friday. She listened to my concerns, and she was able to schedule the installation in the next few days with the same price. Keep my finger crossed. Hopefully everything will be ok this time.

I don’t recommend. Window leaked for rains and I was very disappointed by their customer service. Garden window leaked, contacted Value Windows and Doors and they came 3 times in Dec but could not fix it. On 12/​22, heard someone will come from factory but it was not scheduled. After several calls/​msgs, on 1/​9, heard they would come on ¹⁄₂₇. After the inspection, no update again and it took me more than a week to hear they decide to replace it. On 2/​4, finally, I heard they would install new window next week.
I was sick and tired and I can’t trust them. I asked refund at the end of Dec. Sales person said he discussed with his manager but there is no response or update over a month even though I have asked status several times.
In short, it took 2 months and I still have problem. Of course, we suffered whenever rain came. I was very disappointed by their customer service. That’s why I don’t recommend them, at all.

Value Windows & Doors replaced the windows and doors of my condo a year ago. Well, last week it was the first big rain week in Irvine, and rain water dripped through the top of the new doors into our house. I emailed their office representative who told me that their people will call me. Three days have passed, and I have not got any call. I am now wondering how long it will take them to come to fix it.
Update: Eight days after my original posting, Value Windows & Doors sent a technician and made the fix (I will have to wait for the next rain day to see its effectiveness). Shortly after that, I received an apology email from their general manager. For this reason, I now increase them from one star to three star.

For the last several months my roommates and I have been battling our property manager to get the ancient, broken, unsafe, out-​of-​code windows in the house we rent replaced. Finally we got things moving forward and he sent the guys from Value Windows over to do the job. I cannot express how wonderful they were. We have a ton of windows and they replaced every single one of them (I’m talking, like 20+ windows) in ONE DAY! They came, they fixed, they cleaned up pretty freaking well, and they were out in less than 12 hours. Extremely friendly, extremely professional, and extremely efficient. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get any kind of window job done.

WELL, I have Value windows in my Home and they are GREAT!
1.Today’s vinyl doesn’t turn yellow. It has UV inhibitors in the vinyl to prevent this from happening! Its not the 80’s anymore Folks! Things have changed…
2. Value doesn’t make the glass. Its made by Cardinal Glass… A leading supplier to the window industry and Its the best on the market!
3. Value carries a Lifetime warranty Including glass breakage and has their own local Service Dept… No Problems ever getting service! (Unless your an Ahole to them and your requests beyond reasonable) Like I always say, «You cannot discuss reason with the unreasonable»
4. Value has the BEST Made Windows for your Money… Hands Down!!!

I got mine from BGW Doors in Ontario and had them installed by a Real Window Installer, who knew how to measure for RetroFit windows! He even installed the inside Vinyl trim to complete the inside.

You get what you pay for here. If you want ultimate customer service, having some sales person hold your hands throughout the process, then you will need to spend a 50 — 80% premium, look elsewhere.
If you want quality, and VALUE and you already done your research. Come to Value Windows. Don’t expect great service, but you’ll end up being happy with all the savings and the quality of products.
I purchased and installed 13 windows and 1 garden window, elsewhere was quote AT LEAST $ 2k more… enough said… right? Let’s just say I saved almost 35%

Literally just bought my windows for my house and after the amazing turnaround time to delivery and a superb customer experience I had to post my review on Unilocal.I am not sure what exactly happened for the two negative reviewers but my experience was completely different.
Starting with the initial call, I was extremely pleased with the hand holding and expertise on the different types of windows they offer and how they address my needs. After spending extensive time speaking with me we were able to narrow it down to a few models. I ultimately went with one of the GS series windows and can honestly say it was the right decision.
Once i chose the windows I wanted a technician came out to my house to install them and I can honestly say that the service and care was top notch. I have dealt with tons of installers and technicians in the past but none of them were nearly as knowledgeable and helpful as these. I am not sure what they do to train them but other manufacturers should take note.
After such a good experience I am really interested in taking the tour of their factory as the technician and the rep on the phone highly recommended it. Either way if your in the market take the time to give Value Windows a call you wont regret it!

This company is NO GOOD, they use RECYCLED VINYL from CHINA witch turns yellow and brittle with time, the glass they use is not energy efficient, the silicone is not silicone it’s caulking that will crack in one month and leak, the purpose of getting windows is to save energy and look good a lifetime not one year, they will give you a run around on the warranty, don’t be fooled, do your homework before buying here.,

Admittedly, I had no idea what I was getting to when I moved into my new place. All I knew was that the windows were warped, poorly insulated and unattractive. I found Value Windows and Doors through Google and decided to give them a call. They were super helpful and gave me a really impressive deal. The new windows look great and they even block out the freeway noise (which was really starting to get on my nerves). I would definitely use them again. Thanks, guys!

An update on Value Windows and Doors. This company has been very responsive to my dissatisfaction and has reached out. But I wouldn’t change a review based on words, only on action. They had a chance to demonstrate some action recently when one of the large vertical windows they installed broke down (the mechanics couldn’t support the weight of the window). One of their new hires, with an engineering degree, explained that the window shouldn’t have been built in such a way to begin with, because it made it too heavy. They fixed the window for free in a couple hours. I am glad to see that their customer service has become much more responsive, and that they are hiring talented engineering grads to build even better products!

We have been super busy in the past two months remodeling our home. During that time, we have talked to many building suppliers and Value Windows and Doors is one of the best among them. We were invited to their showroom at their manufacturing facility for their products. It was not the nicest showroom we have seen but it was definitely one of the most informative showroom about windows and glass. We learned how a LoE3 glass could perform better thermal efficiency than other glass, what is the proper and professional installation, etc. Their sales were very knowledgeable and patient. Although their price is not the cheapest, we would choose them since we did see professionalism inthem and we didn’t want our house to have a leaking problem 2 years later. They have a large variety of windows and doors to choose from and we finally chose their GS series windows, which is really nice looking, solid designed, thermal efficient and anti-​theft, plus NEAT glass on all windows without additional cost at all. We replaced 19 windows and 2 sliding doors in our house with Value and our house looks so beautiful now! My husband said that we can even sell 10% more of our house after the new windows installed and I agree with him! We would recommend Value windows and doors to anyone who is looking for a nicer house with quality windows and doors!

I have used Value Windows at four locations for some properties under management over the last five years. They have the best overall value for the window manufacturing. Value Windows has reasonable pricing compared to main line window companies, but the quality is still markedly superior to the lowest priced. The quality control of the window frame is very good. Basically, it is like getting about the same as Milgard quality for 50% off, sometimes more. Value Windows lives up to its name and has the best value on windows.
It is best to purchase the window and install the window yourself, or arrange for your own installer if you cannot do it yourself. Value Windows excels at manufacturing, and does not specialize in installation or sales.

I have just got a quota from values. Its a pretty good deal compared to the other local window companies. (Before, i have also called several other window companies.) In addition the sales lady there is super nice and helpful. She was patient to answer all my questions even though I told her that I might not purchase windows at once. But she suggested me to take a factory tour and take a look of how the windows are produced. I think i shall take her suggestion. For now, I give four stars for the company. I am saving the last star until i come back from the tour visiting. haha^_–

I really need to defend this company. They provided such a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I called them because I needed 8 windows and 2 sliding doors. I didn’t know much about windows but my neighbor asked me to call Value. A man came and got all the measurements and said that the estimate will be e-​mailed to me. He didn’t try to pressure me or sell me anything. The next day I was able to print out 2 detailed estimates of the windows and the installation. The next day I looked on Unilocal and looked up a 4 star window company that said that installation would be free this month. I immediately called them and set up an appointment. This guy brought in two large suitcases of displays to demonstrate. He did the heatlamp test and explained how they made the best frames. The only thing on my mind was the free installation. If his estimate was close to Value Windows with the free installation, then I would probably go with them. After 2 hours of listening to his presentation and watching video of how his company began, his estimate was More than 3 times Value Windows! He looked at me as if I didn’t believe that his price was reasonable. He told me to get other estimates and that no one can compare. I told him that I have an estimate from Value Windows and then showed him the pages. He made a phone call and told me that he can give me a lower quality frame at a closer price. It was still over $ 2000 more than Value. He left as if he wasted his time with me. I can see where innocent housewives or elderly couples would feel pressured to buy their product since the salesman puts on a show and dance. Be careful. There shouldn’t be any pressure.
A week later me and my wife visited the showroom at Value. It really isn’t much, but they do have all the windows with heatlamps so you can feel the difference. Most important the people are really nice and you can negotiate. They set up another window man to come over and get exact measurements. This worked out for us because one of the windows was a standard size and not a custom size that was measured earlier. When they showed up they bring a team of about 5 and immediately take apart windows. We take off shoes in our house but we would never ask them to, but they did. You can stand there and watch them work and if they miss a spot of caulk or foam or anything just say so, they will fix it. They worked from about 9:30 till 4:30 and even cleaned up. I gave them 2 checks (one for the windows and one for the installation) just as we negotiated. There were no surprises. The neighbors that recommended them came over and complemented the work. My daughter says it looks like a beach house. Pretty cool. Thanks Value Windows. I hope people see through the other reviews and get the same experience we got.
