Floyd is the man. I want to purchase another VW just to know I have an honest mechanic to call when things go wrong. Every chance I get I recommend people to him. Reasonably priced repairs from an honest, hard working man. As mentioned in the other review, he often has a lot on his plate (especially during planting and harvest time), and will turn down work, but has a never ending list of contacts that are able to take the work if he cannot. Specializes in early watercooled VW’s (both diesel and gas), and pretty much anything with a diesel motor.

Diesels? Yes, but any old VWs (watercooled, at least,) and presumably any diesel car or truck. Floyd knows them, has or can get parts, and is very down to earth. He’ll go through the problem with you, and do just what you want. (He’ll check out other stuff and make suggestions, but wait for your okay.) Prices are very reasonable. He has a lot going on, so you might not get your car back the next day, but I’ll wait for inexpensive expert work.
