Me & hubby ate there today for the first time today for our anniversary. I had the crab cakes & a wedge salad. Hubby had crab cake with steak. His steak was perfectly cooked! Excellent! Service, wonderful! Will certainly be back! Price was decent. Quality of food, excellent!

This was my first time at Bonefish Grill and I was not disappointed. We were seated immediately outside. Outside seating is mostly shaded(a plus if you like eating outside but don’t want to be in direct sunlight.) Two of us wanted to try their signature drinks and the servers were knowledgable and answered our questions.(Try the Pomegranate Martini– highly recommend) As far as food, everything came out hot and yummy. The Bang Bang Shrimp tacos do not disappoint. We were surprised how much shrimp came on the tacos– most restaurants barely give you any shrimp in shrimp dishes! Their dessert options are plentiful– the Macademia Nut Brownie was warm and gooey. Overall, food, drinks, and service are excellent! Will definitely be back!

The food was fantastic, especially for all you seafood lovers out there. The Tilapia Imperial is a Bonefish favorite, stuffed with crabmeat, shrimp and scallops. Served with two sides, the portion was very fitting and left me happily full but not stuffed. They have a long wine and specialty drink menu for all kinds of tastes. The outdoor patio was nice due to their AC being cranked inside. The service was nice, but overall the food was more of the pricier side and probably meant for more special occasions instead of casual dining.

We really enjoyed our dinner in the pleasant atmosphere. The service was great. Food was excellently prepared and attractively plated. We had the soft shelled stuffed crab. Delicious! Grilled Chilean sea bass perfectly prepared, great sides-augratin potatoes, sautéed spinach. Loved the dessert as well.

My husband and I have gone here many times. The food is always on point and service has been good as well. We have never been disappointed. We normally get the sea bass but we’ve tried a few other dishes such as their Arctic char and crab cake stuffed soft shell crab(both were excellent). We like to get the crème brûlée for dessert, which is one of the best ones we’ve had. We highly recommend them for a seafood restaurant choice.

I got Sashimi for starter and Rainbow Trout. The environment is classy and the waitress is friendly. Sashimi is covered with a layer of sesame which makes the raw fish crispy and unique. The trout also tastes really delicious and I would recommend the Asian sauce on the side for it.

This is one of the best seafood places in town everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Very good service and awsome deals for the quality of food and drink. Me and my boyfriend live in the area and will definitely be back soon.

I went there yesterday for dinner with my boyfriend. I originally wanted their fish and chips but ended up with Atlantic salmon with butter sauce and tomato garlic sauce.(on the side) my two sides were garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggie which was spinach. we also got bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. Everything was wonderful but about 5 minutes after I devoured my main course I felt like I was going to throw up. I went to the bathroom there but never threw up, I was just absolutely miserable the whole night and next morning. I don’t know if I got sick from the fish or if I just ate too fast?!? Not sure. I’ll give the place another try but will not be ordering their salmon!

Hosted my family for a holiday meal @ Bonefish Grill on Xmas Eve. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and Sara was very attentive to our needs. The manager on duty stopped by our table to inquire about our dining experience. Good professional touch thruout the meal. Thank you

Pros: close to home. Nice atmosphere. Nice waitress. Very nice birthday accommodations. Cons: rude hostess welcome, overpriced in my opinion, a limited menu. Good was 3 stars. Review: when we walked in and asked to be seated, the hostess was not at all impressed we didn’t have a reservation. She was SO unimpressed, she felt the need to reiterate our lack of a reservation 3 times to the rest of our group who met us there. When we were seated I was pleasantly surprised with a very nice server who smiled and did a great job our entire visit. The Bang Bang shrimp was Amazing but I can’t say the same for my shrimp pai tai, which was sweet and hardly carried a taste of peanuts. I sent it back. The food was a bit overpriced and the menu was a little limited, but when I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday they jumped to give her a free brownie desert and even gave her a little golden box with a chocolate treat in it. I was impressed with their willingness to present that with no prompting or even asking. All in all I don’t think I’ll go back. Not because it was terrible, but because there are better places that are less expensive.

Bonefish grill gets three stars from me not because it is bad but rather because I don’t feel the experience merits the price tag. We dined here for dinner and food was good but not great. My entrée tasted good but the presentation missed the mark as the seasonal veggie is spaghetti squash(which I like) that when put on a plate along fish makes for a rather colorless bland presentation. Also if you are a craft beer lover this is not your place. The drafts are limited to a few of the generic mega brewery options and other than a few other bottled beers the options are slim. I have to give the staff high marks as they were extremely friendly and attentive. Overall it is ok but really could be much better with just a couple of tweaks.

Friends gave us a gift card for our 25th anniversary. We had never been before and were looking for a nice place for my birthday so decided to give it a try. The bang bang shrimp came highly recommended so we had to order it. It was good but we couldn’t decide why everyone raves about it — I will admit we returned later that month and ordered it again. We still aren’t wowed by it but may try it a third time. My husband ordered the lobster po ‘boy. It was a generous size and presentation was different — sort of a deep bowl held the sandwich and fries. I ordered from the specials — wild caught coho salmon. It was grilled and included a side — I got the garlic mashed potatoes which were good. Also included was a seasonal side which was spaghetti squash which I love. The fish was cooked perfectly. I didn’t know which sauce to order any had the waitress recommend and bring a couple of them. The pan Asian was probably my favorite but they were each very tasty. I tried their fall cider martini(not sure what it was named) and it was good, I wished it was bigger. Because it was my birthday we ordered dessert — a chocolate macadamia brownie with raspberry sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream. Overall, the food was good, the seafood was fresh. Our one complaint is how close the tables are — it was tight to get in and we are of average size, not sure how a bigger person would get in or be comfortable. We could hear conversations from the tables around us. My husband was seated with his back to the main aisle — his chair was kicked/run into by wait staff several times. And other customers stopped at a nearby table to chat, blocking the aisle and hovered over his back. I would think they could remove a few tables and make the experience more pleasant for everyone. On our return trip we were seated in the bar which did give more space, but still on an aisle the staff used for retrieving drinks from the bar, making for a lot of traffic.

My husband and I came here tonight to celebrate my birthday. We both had never had Bonefish Grill before so we wanted to try something new on my birthday. We were so pleased we choose this restaurant tonight as the service was just wonderful. The waitress introduced us to the menu and let us know what the best things are at the restaurant since both my husband and I are used to eating salmon we thought we would go with that but there was a twist tonight. If you all know my background, I don’t typically eat shellfish but the dish I had tonight was enough to break the rules. My husband and I ordered the Tilapia Imperial which was stuffed with shrimp, scallops and crab meat and a lemon caper butter. Bless me for I have sinned, I loved a dish comprised of shellfish. Not only did I love that, but that spaghetti squash it was mouth watering good. As well as the roasted garlic mashed potatoes. It’s like my mom’s cooking but so delicious! Here comes the best part of the entire night. So the restaurant ran out of the flourless chocolate torte I think they usually serve customers as a complimentary birthday gift. Due to the fact they ran out of it, I was allowed to choose anything off the dessert menu complimentary from the restaurant. Therefore, I went with the crème brûlée and it was just so delicious. My husband and I finished that dish in no time! Thank you so much Bonefish Grill for making this girl’s birthday experience a night to truly remember. I will recommend you to all my friends and family for future business!

We stopped for lunch and their crab cakes were one of the specials. They were fabulous! Our 11 yr old son got the bang bang shrimp off the appetizers menu & he was very happy with those as well. Over all great experience

Perfectly wood-grilled fish, pleasant service, decent drinks and outdoor dining make this chain location a solid choice for seafood in central Ohio, despite the large distance from the ocean lol. But the food pricing is a bit aggressive, I found it all too easy to blow $ 25 on a modest plate of fish, starch and veg. Maybe it’s the cost of the flight that the fish rides here that drives up the ticket? Idk but that’s why just 3 stars for me. My dining companion and I enjoyed a fine lunch on a quiet Sunday, sat outside in the shade, Amber took good care of us. We avoided the eggy-sweet brunch dishes and went straight for the seafood. The patagonian tooth fish(oops! I mean chilean seabass) was a thick slab of perfectly cooked deliciousness, but $ 30 for a full portion is, uh, not quite in balance. I had a thin filet of trout done on the wood grill, that was a treat, awesomely browned on top but not overcooked, lemon butter sauce was a nice accompaniment, about $ 18 included a side of mashed spuds and steamed sweet pea pods, a human-sized portion. Drinks are priced very fairly at the Bonefish Grill, macrobrew drafts are $ 5 and a rather tasty margarita was only $ 7. Just don’t expect craft beer, the 3 taps are dedicated to bud lite, blue moon and leinenkugel. Maybe that’s chain management — can’t be bothered with details like sourcing from the local Columbus Brewing Company, argh. Vegetarian rating: 1 star, fuhgeddaboutit, how do you feel about edamame, a salad and a side of steamed broccoli? Seriously there’s no entrée for those who don’t want animal protein, not one. Outdoor seating is maybe a dozen tables, indoor many times that.

I love Bonefish however Friday night I had a bad experience. I order the scallops and shrimp entrée to be made with all scallops. It came out with shrimp. Instead of leaving it so I could eat with my friend it was taken back to the kitchen. They removed the shrimp and brought the same plate back. The potato was hot but the scallops were not. I ate 1.5 and let the server know. I was asked to put them on my bread plate. The exact scallops came back(I had cut two in half) hot but still not the other half of the scallops. They finally came… my friend wouldn’t eat until I got served. It just wasn’t up to the standard in which I thought Bonefish held them self to maybe more like Joe’s Crab Shack?

Bonefish grill is a chain restaurant that stands out very well from most generic seafood place. They offer a lot of variety in menu and provide a nice atmosphere for a good dining experience. I sat at the bar and was helped immediately. I got the Bang Bang Shrimp and was in for a really good treat! They tasted really fresh and had great flavors. I had the Imperial Tilapia as my main meal and I could honestly say it’s one of the best seafood dish I ever had so far! The only complaint I had is waiting on the bread and the fact that all my food came out right after I got my appetizer and bread. Overall a very good experience and I’ll be back soon I’m sure!

Okay, insert here my standard disclaimer about not liking chain restaurants. While it is true that I prefer to give my money to local businesses whenever possible, and you’d have to drag me kicking and screaming into a Chili’s, there’s a difference between your bog-standard«chain restaurant» and a chain like Bonefish, that at least aspires to some higher standards. Plus my companion had a coupon. Nothing like ten bucks off to motivate me to set aside my chain-snobbery. At least this place doesn’t *feel* as much like a chain. They go for more ambiance and shoot for a better atmosphere without… uh, flair. Anyway, I had a cucumber margarita which was really tasty albeit small. I opted for the shrimp and scallops, with lemon butter. They were tasty, and I was glad to receive a human-size portion and not a Sasquatch-sized portion. I found the food very good and the service attentive.

We dined at Bonefish recently, as we had an AMEX coupon that was expiring soon. I haven’t been to a Bonefish in years, but I remember it being very good so was excited to go back. We were seated at a booth and ordered the bang bang shrimp for our app and went with the tuna for our main meal. We devoured the bread while we waited on our shrimp, which we ordered with the sauce on the side. The shrimp was quite oily, but pretty good– and going with the sauce on the side was a good move. VERY shortly after we got our appetizer, our main entrée came out. Our appetizer wasn’t even half finished, so I was a little frustrated when our meal came out so fast. The tuna was very good, as were the vegetables(that we ordered double of instead of the rice). I’d go back, but it may take a little to coax me.

Am I actually going to give this 5 stars? Yes I am. It was date night. It was a great date night, starting with this place. We got off work earlier than expected(though we had been hoping,) and looked for someplace open a bit late on Saturday night. Sweetie had been here before, and it was open late and not too far away. When we walked in it was pretty busy, but we were still seated immediately. From that point, the service was excellent. Not intrusive and hovery, but when we needed something it was there(okay, the silverware wasn’t, but that was quickly fixed.) Our server was friendly and efficient, joking with us later on and drawing an impressive bony fish on our takeout container. The food? Excellent. After ordering the bang bang shrimp I read a negative review of it, but when it arrived it was great. Tasty, hot, crunchy under the sauce, a large portion for an appetizer. The bread and pesto were perfect. The steak and crabcake dinner was a star– each item was great on its own, and we polished off every bit of the main items and the seasoned broccoli(cooked just enough) and garlicky mashed potatoes. We didn’t have room for dessert but were tempted by the chocolate crème brûlée before getting key lime pie to go. We enjoyed it later; good crust, good filling, just wow.
