I stayed here on a business trip during the Spring. The stay was excellent — the rooms are very spacious and the free breakfast and happy hour was terrific. The location was very close to many attractions, like the Zoo, and in a very upscale neighborhood. Everything was clean and comfortable.

My family stayed here several nights this past July. The nightly rate they charged us was significanty higher than what our e-mail confirmation indicated. Just an egregious case of bait and switch. Frustratingly, no amount of reasoning with the manager was able to get the discrepancy resolved. Basically, we were told that since my wife had a different last name that we would be charged double. Welcome to modern day America, people — women don’t always take the last name of their husband. And hotels don’t/shouldn’t generally charge per party who occupies the room. Never again.

My wife and I stayed here as a winter getaway and can’t say enough about how great it was. We purchased the wine tasting package they had going that weekend and it was excellent! We will definitely stay again when we return to the area. The rooms were very clean and everything worked great. The bed was so comfy, I didn’t want to get out of it. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about, but our stay was great! probably one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at, it was basically a mini furnished apartment. Super nice, clean, well kept, we loved it!

I have stayed here a couple of times on business, and it was good for that purpose. It appears that the hotel used to be an apartment complex, so the rooms are basically little 1 bedroom apartments with a kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom. The wifi is free, as is the breakfast, and there’s even a nice happy hour type event in the evening(ie free drinks and food.) The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. Overall, if you have business at one of the conference centers nearby, I would recommend this hotel. Otherwise, stay elsewhere, as Dublin seems to be a soulless vortex of strip malls and chain restaurants(unless of course, you’re into that.)

I am not sure where to start with this review. The overall experience was not good. When my family arrived, we found out that the hotel overbooked, and the room that we wanted was not available. My wife, was none to happy to say the least, and was able to convince the front desk to give us what we paid for, and they did. Which begs the question, why did they say that the room we booked wasn’t available in the first place? The room itself was as it was described at the website. It was a two room suite that actually was two rooms separated by a door. Which was perfect for putting our youngest boy to bed, while the rest of the family stayed up and watched some TV. Everything else about the room wasn’t so great. There was a strong chemical smell in the room that actually burned my lungs. The continental breakfast was awful. The TV would only work if we unplugged and plugged it back it(the fix given to us by the front desk). The appliances looked old, and used. More to the point, the appliances(fridge, toaster) looked like they were never fully cleaned, and smelled the part as well. The bathtub was mildew city. The price of the room was competitive considering when we booked it. But I would have rather paid a bit more, and had a hotel that didn’t smell of chemicals and did a good job of cleaning the rooms. Oh, there was Wifi in the hotel, in that it was a wireless signal that my laptop could connect to. However, it literally would have been faster and more reliable if I just used dial-up! Not worth the money we spent on the place. Would not recommend at all.

This is an older hotel. Stains on carpet, damaged trim in need of paint, broken tile in the bathroom. Maintenance personnel seem to be doing their best at repairs as evidenced by the blobs on white caulking used to re-glue the bathroom tiles. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the bathroom sink didn’t drain and the TV’s are suffering from a severe snow storm.

I’ve stayed here on two separate occasions, each for a week at a time, and was fairly pleased although there are some downsides which I found hard to overlook. All of the rooms are private entry, making it feel more like townhomes instead of a hotel. The lobby is very inviting and homey, and has an Irish theme(a play off of the name of the town, Dublin). The breakfasts are pretty good and there is a good amount of foods to choose from. There is a DVD library in the lobby as well. The grounds are very well kept. There is a hot tub and a pool, however the pool is outdoors, and as we all know, Ohio weather is not always sunny and warm! I found the beds to be very uncomfortable, but if you like soft, saggy mattresses, you might not mind it. Also, there is a very noisy highway that backs up to the property. Both times I’ve stayed here, I kept the heat or air conditioning on to drown out the noise at night, but it was still very noticeable. If you want any sleep, ask for a room towards the quieter front side, near the lobby. Another inconvenience is the wifi… it’s free, but only works about half the time.
