The food tasted great. I ordered the salmon and it was really good. The slice of salmon was a good size. and you get some rice also. I ordered the BBQ chicken and it was very good also. You get the meat and rice. I would come back to this place when I want some more food.

We love this place. The food is good, fast, and reasonably priced. The service is very nice. Rachel is very friendly and greets us by name. I like how they will make accommodations if you ask. The seating is decent for what it is. It would be nice if they were a bit more free with their napkins. Overall, a wonderful place!

The other reviews are on point. Spent $ 30 for three plates of bland food. Clearly, these folks are not from Hawaii or have learned the art of Hawaiian local food. The service is cold and the prices are a bit pricey for the quality of food. I don’t know how they could stay in business other than first timers stopping in. It’s a «one and done» place for me. Damn shame.

This place has a better customer service than LnL. The food was on point. Ordered the low carb Teriyaki chicken with brown rice and salad. The mango smoothie was also good. Not too sweet. Overall, I would go back again.

Love Hawaiian food and this place is so close by. My husband and I come here often and are always satisfied. 4 stars instead of 5 because I still like the taste of Ono Hawaiian bbq better(especially their Mac salad)

Quick, cheap, pretty healthy food. I like the low-carb plate with brown rice, salad, and both beef and chicken. The crew is polite, the place is clean, that plate is enough for lunch and dinner. Parking can be a problem sometimes… but I have a late lunch break.

This place is so good. The strawberry guava smoothie is a must try. I came in order my food and 5min later it was done. Talk about speedy service! Customer service is top notch. Really nice workers. Glad there’s a Hawaiian bbq close to home.

I’m only giving 1 star for the website and menu that don’t come up. Please fix this. Would have liked to order online and look at the menu

If you want an enormous amount of slightly bland food for $ 8, Hawaiian Grill Express is your place. My to-go box was super heavy and filled with Teriyaki Chicken, two scoops of rice, macaroni salad and veggies. Having cold macaroni salad steaming in a box of hot food is a little icky to me so I usually try to eat it first. Strategic tip for you. You’re welcome!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I’m not giving a 1-star review because of poor customer service or because I found a roach in my dish. No, the food and the food alone merits a 1-star. Did anyone expect more from a place that calls itself«Hawaiian Grill,» then serves absolutely no Hawaiian or Hawaiian-inspired dishes whatsoever? The Chicken Katsu ranks very highly on my list of the most repulsive foods I have ever tasted. It was clear they used crap-grade oil and Panko, because the food was oily to the point where I was nauseous for 24 hours after eating the food. The meat was chewy in a very unpleasant way. I was so sure I had food poisoning — that’s how bad this food is. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Spend a few bucks more to get an actual decent meal from the various restaurants around this area. This restaurant is a disgrace to the newly developed East Dublin.

I usually come here when I’m looking for a quick and cheap meal that isn’t fast food. Their food is always consistent, but also always consistently salty. I order their bbq chicken bowl and spam musubi which is are both pretty filling on their own. Restaurant has the basic Hawaiian style interior(tropical colors, leafy, etc.) with self seating tables. One of the main downsides of this place is that the parking lot for the area that the restaurant is located is very very small due to the 3 other quite popular stores next door. I usually end up parking in the larger parking lot for made for target. Overall, food is satisfying and fast. 7⁄10 would recommend.

Now bringing a bit of aloha to this former cow pasture that’s been turned into Tarjay World: Hawaiian Grill Express. As of this writing, this development is only a few years old, so a recent lunch stop gave me a chance to see how it’s been received. Pretty well, I think. Parking is horrendous in the clusters of small buildings on the east, and this is where Hawaiian Grill is located. Be prepared to look for a parking place. And seeing that this is not located close to any offices, it’s not a quick walk to get here. Still, nearly every seat was taken when I ate here. Small interior with several small tables that seat four each. There is also a tiny countertop under the TV for solo diners like myself. Nice mural. I had the BBQ Mix, which had beef, chicken, rice, macaroni, and vegetables that I did not eat. You get a lot for $ 9.29, and with the heaping of rice, it fills you up. Soy and Sriracha sauces are available. Basic, average Polynesian taste to the meat, cooked well. Like Michelle C, I was pleasantly surprised by the tangy mac salad. Go ethnic and wash it down with a Luau Punch. Hawaiian Grill Express is a pretty good spot for some pretty average island food. If the parking situation was made better, it would probably get too crowded in here.

I like this place… Sometimes I’m starving and want cheap, tasty food. I order the Chicken teriyaki mini meal for $ 6. It comes with tasty chicken(sometimes a little fatty), steamed cabbage, broccoli, carrots(always good quality), a cure scoop of rice and a cute scoop of basic macaroni salad. Usually I hate macaroni salad but this one has a mild flavor and the noodles are cooked well(not soggy). It’s not too busy inside and the food is ready quickly. Why not? :)

My anti-diet pit stop after a fishing trip. MEAL: I typically order up a Kalua Pork & Cabbage, all rice no mac. But on the most recent visit I chose the Kalua Pork & Cabbage + Lau Lau. I wasn’t disappointed… The Kalua Pork is always juicy, tender and not too salty. The Lau Lau topped it off in a big way on the most recent trip. The staff is always friendly and there is ample parking in that plaza. And… there are a bunch of shops nearby for you to walk off the food if your eyes were bigger than your tummy. LOL!

We came in close to 9pm for a late dinner. We appreciate how the staff was very accommodating to allowing us to dine in that late in the night. They’re combo meals are worth it. They come with a good portion of meat and side of rice. I love their chicken bbq. The meat is tender and tasty. My hubby is not a fan of sweet bbq sauce. But he still liked the chicken bbq, despite the slight taste of sweetness in it. Service is efficient and fast. This place is considered our safe default for good tasting food that doesn’t come with a high price tag.

I love Hawaiian food. I’ve gotten the BBQ Chicken Plate for dinner a couple of times and it comes out to less than $ 9 and lasts me 2 meals. The last time I got it, I got like 4 slabs of chicken. Great portions for the price and my take out orders are usually ready in about 10 – 15 mins. Parking sucks here — I normally park across the street where the bigger parking lot is and just walk if it’s too crowded.

Pretty average as average can be. It’s grilled Hawaiian food and I can’t say that I hated, but also can’t say that I loved. They do, however, give you a lot for what it’s worth. So let’s get down to business: ~ Parking ~ I can imagine how hectic it can be during lunch time. One row in front of the place shared with two other restaurants, but more space over by Dick’s. Only you’d have to walk across the nearly deadly intersection/entrance crossing. ~ Service ~ OK help from the kid taking orders. No issue, nor heavy smiles either. He did his job. ~ Dining ~ A large boring mural of Hawaii, a surfer, and sea turtle, but that’s about it. They need an LED monitor or something. As far as the tables, they seem fine, fairly clean. ~ Drumroll for the FOOD ~ Hawaiian BBQ Mix $ 9.29: One short rib, soft and tender. Barbecue beef, was pretty good, not so dry or tough. The barbecue chicken was tender as well. All three went well with the teriyaki or katsu sauce. The sauces were self-serve from a dispenser. And regarding the mac salad, blah, didn’t like it. Mini Meal chicken katsu $ 5.99: Meh, I’ve had better. I didn’t like the breading I guess. Wasn’t as crunchy as I expected, just kinda boring. Then again, they did give a lot. Had to keep dipping it in katsu for flavor though. Spam Masubi(2pc) $ 3.59: More rice and thin slice of spam. Not to mention the seaweed falling apart. It wasn’t strong enough. I’m not buying this again. ~ Overall ~ It serves its purpose if you’re in the Hawaiin food mood, and I’ll probably be back to try their seafood mix or lau lau. But between Ohana, L&L, Hula BBQ, and here. I’d probably rank this place in 3rd. Give me a fatty piece of pork, and it’ll go up a notch.

The food tasted fresh, clean, and good. I had the chicken combo plate and the spam musubi and both were well seasoned, balanced and cooked to perfection. The spam musubi did have more rice than most places I’ve been to but it did not leave a salty taste in my mouth. The menu seem to have what I’ve come to understand as crowd pleasers. The service was good and I was happy that they take American Express. I would give 5 stars but because I’m not an expert on this cuisine I wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone. However like most other things in this world, authenticity is hard to come by especially if the place is out of its local element but based on taste and what I like, this place is really a 5 star for sure.
