I have a side-job in the industry — I know what the markup is on many of these products and lets just say the«MSRP» is quite meaningless… to tell me something is a good deal because the MSRP is xx. xx is not going to sell me — your prices are still high. Average selection(at best) and some products that actually had a layer of dust on them — no, I didn’t bother to check expiration dates. If you’re in Columbus, unable to use the internet(seriously, people, you’ll thank me later) drive up to Polaris for Vitamin Shop.

Not impressive at all. No music, not even a promotional push on the newest stress reliever or weight loss pill. The guy at the counter did say hi, and as I was already into the store for a few minutes, offered help if needed. I walked around to see what kinds of products they had. They had one or two of everything. The prices weren’t any better than the other health food stores, and the sale section kind of scared me with how old everything might have been. I did see that they had a few of my favorite, discontinued, protein powers. But they were priced at regular cost. I thought that was weird. If it’s discontinued, shouldn’t you drop the price to try to get rid of it? I didn’t buy it because I am only halfway through my 15 canisters I purchased on ebay. Sometimes I get obsessive. That’s the problem with online shopping, it’s way too easy! So, I really have no desire to go back. Too bad, it’s in a good, high traffic location. If only there was a tiny bit of employee interaction…
