LongHorn Steakhouse

My husband and I went shopping at Tuttle Mall, we decided on LongHorn for lunch, a mistake, the restaurant has really gone downhill… It smells, dirty carpet, seated us by the kitchen, I was so disappointed… Ordered hamburger and fries. The hamburger was just so so, thought the hamburger was suppose to be grilled… Longhorn Dublin, will be out of business soon I predict, unless the owner/​manager takes charge and takes an interest in the establishment… Out-​dated…

This is my husband’s and my go-​to place for nicer meals out. Their parmesan crusted (anything really) is delectable. My favorite is the parmesan crusted chicken or steak and their parmesan crusted asperagus appetizer is phenomenal (is it obvious that I like the parmesan?). We’ve never been disappointed with our food when eating here. The wait times aren’t horrible for a party of two (about 15 minutes at 6:30 on a Saturday night), and when we’ve gone with a larger party, it wasn’t during busy hours and were still able to get in and out quickly. The waitstaff have always been delightful and friendly and on top of taking care of our order and drinks.
The music can get a little bit loud at times, but it’s never been a situation of having to yell or ask my husband to repeat himself to have a conversation. The beer selection is pretty limited which can be a little disappointing for my husband, but it’s certainly never stopped us from eating here. We will definitely keep coming back.

This is my go to place for a nice meal with some friends, good food at good prices. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is kid friendly. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu!

Normally love this restaurant but my Redrock shrimp (lunch) was sad. Lunch comes with only one side and the side of rice I recieved was just enough to feed a baby. I said just that to the waiter who overlooked the issue. Sorry, but won’t order that ever again I posted a photo of the baby portion on Unilocal (photo is how it arrived less the butter bowl and lemon wedge — just pitiful).

The servers don’t know how to take plates away when done, and are kinda dragging around

Husband and I ate here yesterday and had delightful service and yummy food. I believe our server’s name was Crissy, and she was sweet and responsiveness. Together we had mushrooms, salad, chips, and the bread. They aimed to please and did just that. It’s one our favorite dining spots in Dublin. Nice ambiance, no blaring music, and a pleasant experience.

Awesome steak for a fraction of the cost. Wait was about 35 minutes for a party of 12 but the bread is totally worth the wait!

So it’s a Saturday evening around 6:30 and we realized we didn’t have any kids at home tonight, so we could go out. We called to make reservations and she said it was an hour wait. OK, we’ll leave 15 minutes before our reservation and won’t have to wait. HA! We were handed the dreaded device that flashes when it’s your time.
Well we hung out there for a while, then walked to the far end of the bar to get a drink. It was the service area for the to go stuff. There was an order up there and then 2 minutes later some guy shows up. He was trying to get one of the bartender’s attention but he was kind of quiet and nobody could hear him. When someone walked by I yelled «Excuse me! The woman came over and I told her that this gentleman was waiting for his to go order and he thinks this is his order just sitting here getting cold on the counter. She helped him and I asked her if we could get drinks, and she said, «Just a minute»
OMG. Our reservation time had come and gone and we’d already been waiting 20 minutes past our reservation We get our drinks from a guy bartender, finally, and we went back to waiting area. We kept on waiting to the point of us talking about leaving. Then the beeper went off and we were seated.
After that, everything was perfect. I ordered the 6oz filet, carrots and asparagus. He ordered the Porterhouse, baked potato and a salad. My steak had an unbelievable amount of pepper on it. I scraped it off with a knife and rubbed a little butter on it and all was good. Our waiter was on the ball and checked on us frequently. He did a very nice job and made up for the fact that we waited for nearly 2 hours to get a table. The food was great so we’ll probably be back at a less busy time.
Oh! Almost forgot — the Bathrooms. Women’s room was a disaster area. TP all over the floor, 2 stalls with no TP, overflowing garbage cans, just gross, It was surprising to see that they (the bathroom) clearly hadn’t been touched all night. He said the Men’s room smelled strongly of urine. I told the girl at the front when we were leaving, but she didn’t seem to care. The young man there said that they would take care of it right away and apologized. How hard is that? When we get a chance to go out as a couple and spend $ 100 on dinner, I expect to get a table close to my reservation time and be treated with respect if I’m paying $ 7 for a drink.

Came in with a big olé appetite. Was sat in a section of a lovely ginger named Joanna. While she had no soul she did a great job in drink recommendations and service. Great job with recommendation and what to order. Her manager Taylor was a gem and very engaged with tables making sure everything was running smooth. Portion sizes were fantastic. Would give 5 stars and recommend. This will be the only longhorn I will go to. Top notch!

Enjoyed the jalapeño/​butter sauce topped sirloin on the feature menu. Very tasty!

Very tasty meal and nice staff. Bar is open and friendly. We had apps and a meal for a table of 6. The cheese fries were great. Get the jalapeños. My steak choice was a Bone-​in rib eye. Awesome choice. Damn tasty steak. Probably should not have tried to eat the whole thing. Veggies were good too. They also serve fresh bread.

Great experience with no complaints. We came here knowing what we where getting from longhorn. We came for dinner for our anniversary and loved it. Filets were both great, as were our sides. Loved it! We don’t do longhorn often, but when we decide to do it again, will be back to this one.

Perfect! We actually had a more than pleasant visit here today. The server (Patrick) was very attentive and made excellent recommendations for dinner. Each course was perfectly spaced out so that we didn’t feel rushed to finish a course as some other steakhouses. The steaks we’re perfectly cooked as well! Well done Longhorn team!

Bad service. This second time we came here with horrible service. Sat there for 30 min (and no I am not exaggerating). We arrived at 8am odered drinks… At 830 our server (and I use the term server lightly) finally asked us if we are ready to order. «No. We have only been sitting here with our menus closed foever for the hell of it» We had to walk up to the bar and ask the very friendly bartender for water and iced tea refills twice because our «server» never checked on us once. The place was not busy at all so this was ridiculous. I wanted to walk out so badly but didn’t feel like dealing with going somewhere else. Will definitely not return to this restaurant after this. i do not recommend this place!

After spending a few days packing up our entire lives and planning on moving cross-​country, we found out we had to be out of our apartment a day earlier than we thought. Talk about stressful. We decided to stay at the La Quinta nearby. We were thrilled to see this restaurant — yes! A nice, quiet, relaxing steak dinner was in our future!
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. We walked in and saw that the place was practically empty. Score! When we were seated next to a table of about 10, half of which were children who were yelling, banging, and generally being pretty loud, my boyfriend asked if we could be seated at another table. The hostess was clearly not equipped to handle such a request. «What??» she made my boyfriend repeat himself louder, in front of what seemed to be a small daycare. «Let me see if anyone else can take another table…» she said with some snark, leaving us to stand there by the table awkwardly.
We started walking toward her. At this point the waitresses are kind of looking at us. Look, this isn’t a request that we’d normally make. But my head is pounding and we haven’t eaten anything all day and we have a stressful few days both ahead of and behind us — is this so much ask?
Eventually, after what she pretended was a ton of effort, we were seated at another booth… diagonal to the table with the kids. Really?!
We ended up leaving. So much for a nice steak dinner.

I ordered the 11oz Renegade Sirloin (cooked medium) with green beans and rice pilaf. Steak came out perfect, hot pink center and extremely juicy. The green beans had a lot of flavor with the right touch of garlic. I definitely enjoyed the meal. The waiter was attentive and quick with refills and ensuring everything came out to our satisfaction.

This has to have been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Longhorn. The hostess was listless, when I asked for a diner menu it was as though I asked for a cash donation. I was seated next to the Togo door, it was 8 above zero outside so it was a bit chilly.
I was waited on by the bar keep who was running around like her hair was on fire. There was me at a table and one gent at the bar. Service was an effort.
The $ 28 steak I ordered mid rare came out so rare I thought it would ask me to call 911 for it. I sent it back thinking given the value it would be replaced, wrong! The same steak was returned to me.
Forgive me but for a total check of $ 40+ for one person (no alcohol) I would have been better off at a dinner. Don’t waist your money.

Great steak and service!
Ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly. My side dish was the risotto and a Caesar salad. The risotto was rich and creamy, a perfect compliment to the steak. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were outstanding. I wish I could remember their names to give them a shout out. I will be back!

Well my husband had been wanting Longhorn for the longest time just to try their new Kansas City Barbeque steak. We asked the waitress what it was and it’s not all what it’s cracked up to be so we got the Hawaiian steak instead. I know we got the advice that you haven’t been to Kansas unless you’ve tried their steak but I wouldn’t know about that.
The sampler bread that Longhorn offers is good and plentiful. I think I ate enough of it to not eat all my steak alone.
I got my steak medium well since I still need a little pink for the juicy taste. On top of the steak there was pineapple with a compote of some sort. I accompanied the steak with mashed potatoes which was very good with the steak.
Not sure if I’ll come to Longhorn often because for the price, I’ve had way better steak elsewhere. It was just good trying this place for the first time.
