Used my Groupon deal for a 90 min massage and was pretty satisfied. She is very holistic and has a fine touch for pressure points. I felt relief from my stiff neck and lower back pain almost immediately. I definitely recommend her and will return soon.

My partner and I were really impressed with the massages we got from here. The Groupon was a great way to introduce us and we know we will be going back. It is located in an older building but the owner has done a nice job making it look as good as possible. We had actually reached the expiration of the Groupon and the owner was nice enough to get us in quickly. We were going back to visit parents and being de-​stressed was a great way to start our trip. I hope the owner can upgrade to a newer location at some point, but that is not going to stop us from going back. I am giving Luminescent a five star rating, because I am basing my rating on the massage and the nice connection to the owner. Thanks for a very nice experience!

This was a very positive Groupon experience for me. The masseuse was kind and gentle and very professional. I did the hot stone relaxing massage treatment for 60 minutes. It was a delightful experience. I would recommend and use the service again.

Do yourself a favor, and keep looking, this deal will never been enough to get me back into that place. I feel terrible for this review because I know she is independent, but I feel like the quality can be stepped up, a LOT. I purchased a local gruv discount for this new masseuse. I had trouble reaching someone to book an appt. and contacted local gruv. They intervened and the owner called me back with an appointment time and offered to extend the massage 30 minutes. I was like, great, we’re back on track. However, the massage itself was not good. Freezing temps in the room, weird tiki music, she used her fore arms and elbow almost the entire time; pretty sure her hands almost never touched me. And she straddled the bed above me at one point. I’m a small person, there is no way anyone needs to straddle the bed to ‘get in there’! I was really uncomfortable and couldn’t believe I had not only my hour, but 1.5 hours of endurance. There was not much I could say, it’s a bit embarrassing when your naked to try and negotiate and reason with someone who seemed to not notice how uncomfortable I was. The office has sheets covering half the front room, which was strange. All in all, I’d say pass.
I did tip, because she was very polite (very nice in person!) and I didn’t want to stiff her but it was my second worst massage ever. After the chair massage in the mall that is.

I found this place on Groupon, and it was the worst experience ever!
First, massage was just okay, but the owner/​Masseuse talked the entire time, which is very unprofessional and definitely not relaxing. I was so distracted by her talk that I accidentally paid her twice (one through Groupon and the other one when I was leaving), and the owner knew it but didn’t say a word. When I got home, I realized that I paid her twice, so I called and left a message, no response. I sent her an email, still no answer. I waited a few weeks and sent her another email saying that I would write a negative review and then she called me back and told me that she would send me a refund check. I waited 2 weeks but no check, so I called and left a message, but she’s been ignoring my calls to this very day.
This owner is so unprofessional and very dishonest that I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!
