Love this place, the food, the coffee, the staff, the owner, the location, the style of the facility. Wonderful!

Good, fast service. We had salads and sandwiches – both were fresh and of average size. Hot chai was tasty to go. Nice, relaxed environment with cute outdoor seating area. Note parking available on side.

Me and my friend were looking for some place to just hang out and talk for a little bit today. We came here and I got an iced Americano and she got a strawberry smoothie. Both were fantastic, and they have this little outside place with shade and tables next to a fountain. It is super nice and I will definitely come back for more!

I surprised my mom and had her friends meet her here for her 50th Birthday celebration. This was the perfect location and all had a blast. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect! Her birthday celebration ended up being brunch with mimosas, a perfect place to gather with friends and catch up. Thanks again!

Usually, when I trek through Dublin these days, I’m in a bit of a hurry so I only stop at the places that are completely familiar. Today was an exception. I had a calling for something warm and hot and off to Starbucks I went. And here is where Serendipity stepped in: the espresso machine at Starbucks was broken. What was I to do? I needed my hot drink fix for the day so I casually asked around and received the suggestion to visit My CoffeeShop. The directions that I received were a bit fuzzy, so I politely thanked the giver and discreetly pulled out my iPhone on the way out of the store. After checking out the website(very user friendly and informative — I love the addition about extra parking behind the store) and getting directions, off I went. The coffee shop is in the lobby of a historical hotel in what appears to be a very nicely renovated town square. The shop has a very Eurocentric feeling to it. Instead of the overly modern(re. uncomfortable) furniture that one may find in some more ubiquitous coffee shops, the overall décor of the shop is warm and inviting. It reminds me of a favorite nook in a personal library or study. The staff is personable and knowledgeable. The service that I received was excellent. Since I have a number of food sensitivities, it’s always a chore for me to find something that works for me, but the staff was not only sensitive to my needs, but they made alternative suggestions for menu selections without me having to prompt them to do so. And the coffee… better than anything I’ve had at a Starbucks in forever! My CoffeeShop is not just a coffee place with great coffee and coffee based drinks. They also have a decent selections of food(pastries and the three S’s — soup, salads, and sandwiches) and wine. It strikes me as the type of place that you can grab breakfast and lunch on your way in to work, and then meet your colleagues at after work for a quick drink, conversation, and a couple of laughs. This is another little hidden treasure that I may not have found if not for a snafu at the Starbucks. I will definitely return here and recommend it to all of my colleagues that may pass through Dublin on their way someplace else. It’s worth the detour.

I absolutely love this little place! You can smell the aroma of the coffee as you’re walking up to the front doors which just heightens all your senses. When you walk in it’s as though you’ve been transported to another city. Café style tables and chairs and lounge chairs speckle the inside and make it seem spacious. You walk up to the bar to order and they have several coffee items to choose from, all of which they’re happy to customize for you. They have a selection of wine and beers as well as create your own sandwiches. To the right of you is a case of an assortment of pastries, cookies, etc. All of which are tantalizing. I’ve had their turkey on ciabatta with mozzarella and lettuce, tomato, and mayo while my fiancé had a chicken and ham on grain ciabatta with lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, mayo and mustard. It’s so fresh! And when I mean fresh, I mean the lettuce is crispy and the bread isn’t crumbly or mushy; it’s perfect! He had a wheat beer to go with his while I had a Riesling. Give them a try! The owner is super friendly and accommodating, so don’t be afraid to ask her anything! My momma got a chia tea and for her, it didn’t have enough«chai» flavor for her and all she did was ask them and they gladly added more for her. So glad this little gem is in Dublin! Definitely will be returning.
