My go to, treat myself, pizza relief place. Pizza crust is thin but with a crispy bottom to hold any number of toppings. Plenty of cheese to the point it is stringy between slices after it is cut. The sauce is sweet and spicy. I ordered a sausage and onion during peak lunch time and it was ready within 15 mins. When I walked in to pick up my pizza the place was packed and three other people were waiting for their orders. The girl behind the counter was sweet and handed me my pizza with a smile. I was out the door within 5 mins. Always love a good pizza and wished I was closer to their location on Lane with the original ovens, but this one in Dublin works just fine. The box has the best statement«Tommy’s Pizza of Perfection Since 1952»

My favorite pizza in Dublin, just be prepared to wait. It’s worth it! We usually go inside and that usually makes it faster.

Every time I eat here I wonder why I don’t eat here more often. The crust, the cheese, the pepperoni… it’s all just so perfect. It won’t win awards for interior design, but with pizza this good, who cares?!?

Thanks to Tommy’s we discovered Mellow Mushroom across the street. We enjoyed Tommy’s pizza until one evening we were asked to either leave or throw out the outside food we brought in for our 18mo old children, a 4pc nugget and small fry, REALLY??? Sorry, but they did not enjoy pizza at this time. So we left and decided to try Mellow Mushroom across the street. ITWASAWESOME!!! They were happy to have us and allowed the outside order with no problem. They were even shocked that this happened to us. Avoid Tommy’s if looking for a family friendly experience. Have not been back, never will.

Decent pizza but terrible service. Have missed the pick up time estimate by 20 min the last 3 times which is completely unacceptable

Tommy’s was a staple when I lived in Dublin and the pizza and everything else was always good. I was in town for a few days and decided it would be great to have Tommy’s again. We ordered 3 pizzas and a sub. We were told it would be 90 minutes and it turned out to be a 3 hour wait for delivery. The sub was completely wrong so after a 3 hour wait my son got dressing and peppers on a sub that should have been lettuce and ham only. Needless to say everything was cold at this point and only Tommy’s knows how long the order was in the hands of the delivery person before it got to us, the pizza was dry to the point in crumbled in our hands and not even close to warm. The poor delivery man was apologetic and said he was the only delivery person that night because the other driver called in sick. We really felt bad for him and wished we had known and we would have been more than happy to make the 6 minute drive to pick it up ourselves. At one point I called to find out where our food was and the person answering the phone could barely understand me so I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke with Brock and was told he would comp our order and he was sorry, the person I spoke with on the phone was from another country and they were working him to improve service. I get and can appreciate that but isn’t there another job he could do? Answering the phone and giving proper information and getting this person to try to understand me after waiting way too long for food already was nothing short of frustrating. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because Brock did live up to his word and the charge was removed from our credit card as of today. In that respect A+ for customer service. I won’t be ordering Tommy’s again, there are too many other great options available in the area.

What a find this is one of the best pizza I’ve ever had, the supper thin crispy crust was over the top good and cooked to perfection. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars it was just a little short on sauce and when cooking a pizza slightly well done you need to allow for some evaporation. We ordered 3 different pizza’s and were very happy. Since 1952

I haven’t had Tommy’s pizza in probably 15 years, and I don’t remember being blown away by it. I stopped by on a whim last night to get a small pizza to go because I was next door at Oakland. I have to say Tommy’s is now my new favorite pizza in town! Sooooo good! I love the thin cracker crust and the crispy, salty pepperoni. They also don’t use a ton of sauce, which makes me extremely happy. I’m not a fan of too much sauce. Thankfully this location is close to home. Whenever I get the pizza hankering, I will definitely be back!

Holy Pepperoni, Batman! I would like to first say how much I enjoy pizza. A close friend of mine once suggested that we get BFF pizza slice tattoos and I legitimately considered it. I don’t discriminate against pizza. I will eat any pizza, any place, any time. However, once in a while you come across A GREATPIZZA. This is the kind of pizza you tell your friends about. The kind of pizza you bring home to meet your parents. This my friends, is what you find at Tommy’s. Crust: Crispity crunchity delight Cheese: Pull-apart stringy, perfectly toasted Toppings: Those pepperonis are curled into crispy, savory meaty perfection It’s not glamorous or trendy. It’s old and no-nonsense. The checkout/carry-out line is long and confusing. It doesn’t matter. Go here. Go and eat pizza.

The other day I had a craving for an Italian sub. A good one, not from Subway or Jimmy Johns or whatever. And I realized while running errands that there was a Tommy’s nearby. The last time I had Tommy’s was, jeez, almost 30 years ago, at the one near campus. It was good, if memory serves, but so much has happened since then that I wasn’t sure what to expect here. Plus, even though I knew where it was it was still hard to find, tucked back into a corner of, well, Tommy’s Plaza. It’s not much to look at, inside or out. The menu is fairly basic– pizza, subs, Italian dinners. I was a little skeptical until the food came out. Then– wow. Exactly what I had hoped for. I got the basic Italian sub. Plus, wanting to try the pizza I remembered, a mini pepperoni(thinking it would be pretty small.) Either is a good lunch, so I had plenty of leftovers. The pizza was piping hot, and I was jonesing, so I started with the sub. A great rendition of a classic: good, hearty bread, crispy outside and soft inside. Good meats, decent veggies, and dressing dripping off but still not making things mushy. Just what I wanted. The pizza was bigger than I expected, and another great version of a classic. Thin crispy crust, greasy but not overly so, good cheese and sauce, great pepperoni(and plenty of slices.) I had the leftovers cold later and they were still great. They have lots of other toppings, including all the usual suspects but also shrimp and oysters. Service was good– friendly, efficient. Prices– I think I paid $ 14, which is pretty darn good for the quantity and quality. It’s not fancy, but it has been around awhile because they know what they are doing.

Great pizza and cheese balls! Sometimes at lunch the service is slow… but it’s extremely good!!! I continue to come here about once a week for lunch!

Pizza is good, it’s probably the pepperoni that gives it that unique taste. If you are deciding whether to get your pizza to go or to dine in… I would suggest that you get it «to go.» Why? It’s evident that this owner doesn’t care about maintaining /renovating this ran down restaurant that shows not only it’s years, but neglect as well. The mens restroom is comparable to one that you might find at a gas station: loose soap dispenser(minus the soap), a dilapidated hand blower and dirty. Yell, this place says, «We don’t want you here! Get your pizza to go!» So, get your pizza to go or have it delivered. It will probably be more enjoyable eating it at home. At least, you’ll be able to wash your hands with soap and water.

St. Louis pizza at its best. Thin crust pizza; crunchy on the bottom, soft on top. Square cut, as it should be with this style of pizza. Beer, yeah they got it, but if you’re a knitted hat wearing hipster looking for ipa brew haha, then you ought to look elsewhere, cause this ain’t your place friend. Service is good here as long as you’re not a jerk. They get busy quick if your wanting fast pizza then go get one of those five dollar disasters. The pizza here is worth the wait.

Was never a huge fan of cracker like flake crust until I had Tommy’s. Its always a treat when we get to go for office lunch. Just beware, Pepsi products only!

The pizza had a nice crust and was fresh but really that was the o ly highlight of the trip. It smelled heavenly while we shopped for plants next door, which brought me in but it was wholly underwhelming. Our server was ok but seemed over whelmed. The garlic cheese bread was lacking and the atmosphere was by far the worst part. We were seated in the back by the kitchen door, pizza boxes behind us, dirty dishes next to us and a man accepting pizza delivery orders from a table over some really gross carpet where he tracked in and out of the kitchen. All in all it was overpriced pizza at a skeezy place. I certainly wouldn’t go back.

I’m on my third decade of enjoying Tommy’s pizza, and I’m not tired of it at all. In fact, the experience gets better each time. We needed a place to go on Saturday night, which happened to be Valentine’s Day. We were able to sit right down, and we ordered some garlic with bread with cheese and a round of drinks. The gb is simple but good. The beer and wine selection left a lot to be desired, but Peroni was a surprisingly good choice. The pizza itself is what is worth going back for; it’s positively crave worthy. Something as simple as their pepperoni completely hits the spot after a long, stressful day.

Love their pizza. Cracker thin crust… small curled up pepperoni… soo good. I suggest trying their meatballs as an appetizer. So dang good. Wish I didnt live so far away from here but then again its probably a good thing. One bit of advice… dont judge a book by its cover. It may look like its straight out of the 80s and sketchy but that pizza is damn good.

80’s décor? Check. Creepy picture of founder on the wall? Check. Salty waitresses? Check. Awesome pizza? Triple Check. It’s taken me a while to get to Tommy’s. My husband has hindered me from coming here for so long after he got sick at another location, but now I’m slightly angry at him for keeping me away from such amazingly good pizza for long. He is lucky that I love him very much. This is a great midwestern(or St Louis style) cracker-thin crust pizza. You will get layers of thin, crunchy, flaky crust on the bottom and delicious topping on the top. I’m actually perfectly fine with just a cheese pizza, but the pepperoni was averagely good as well. Make sure you try the deep fried cauliflower, deep fried mushroom, and even the deep fried mozzarella balls. They are all spectacular and served with home made ranch dressing. The subs here aren’t too shabby either. The Italian has plenty of meats and the sub buns are always nice and toasted from the oven. The service can be sweet or salty depending on the day or time, but we’re usually always greatly taken care of. Not all people like this style pizza, but as other reviews have said. if this style of pizza is your thang then you will be extremely happy.
