Stopped here for some coffee for the road. Unexpectedly great iced vanilla latte! Probably one of the best that I’ve had. Baristas are friendly. Lots of tables. Recommended for sure!

I can only speak to my one experience here, but I walked away ready to throw my coffee in the trash. I ordered an iced mocha and it came without ¼ cup chocolate syrup in the bottom. It wasn’t tasty and took several minutes of stirring to be palatable. Their plain coffee was fine, but this was one of the worst mochas I’ve had in a while. However, staff was friendly and quick.

I love the options available here. They offer coconut milk, cashew milk, along with regular milk and soy milk. I have food allergies, so I am grateful for the options. They have gluten and dairy free muffins, that are also soy free. That is a delight for me, since they are the only place I’ve found that offers this! The coffee is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Nothing to write home about. Nothing wrong per say, but this would not be my first choice while visiting Dubuque(visiting in laws for Thanksgiving). We came in 30 minutes before closing and the staff asked us if we wanted to take it go and when we said no, reminded us that they closed in 30 minutes.(I’m wondering who can’t finish a coffee in 30 minutes?). The coffee was just so so. Chai Latte was good. Happy to see floor plugs for star phones and the like. They had ½ off ice cream. They had glass enclosures, but no food was in them? If I wanted a place to go and Charlotte’s wasn’t open, I would go here.

Cute little coffee shop, super friendly staff and a good location. My Americano was a little too watered down but still an enjoyable experience.

Lovely café, with excellent coffee and delicious cranberry scone. We stopped off in this charming Victorian town, on the way north along the River Road. Well worth popping in at this café, and when doing so make sure you feed the parking meter on the road, as the town has strict and enforced parking rules.

Yum! Delicious fresh cup of coffee, a very tasty classic Belgian waffle, and a hot, savory panini. They remembered our request for no cheese(my partner is lactose intolerant; hold the cheese please is sometimes difficult to see followed through on). Service is prompt and friendly, breakfast is served through lunch, and I know where I’ll be stopping for coffee next time I’m passing through Dubuque(valuable information to have in my pocket, indeed!) Thanks, Jitters!

Love this place. I agree with some of the reviews for Dubuque this is really and awesome lunch place. Sandwiches are amazing i love the turkey one with the jalapeño chips and a big glass of black tea! Delicious! I see people complaining about rudeness havent seen that but it gets packed really fast and for lunch time sometimes they are understaff so it might take a while so just be patience! It’s worth it

The reviews that say 5 Stars on Rudeness are 100% correct. The hubby owner is cool but what’s the deal w/his total biache(yes b i t c h) wife? Many in Dubuque have noticed she’s nice to the women and rude to men. Good food here and for Dubuque standards it’s actually mind blowing but the prices are way out of line for Dubuque, IA(a town 100 miles from anything in every direction). Why are so many reviews saying 5 stars on rudeness. A few of my friends have noticed total attitude here.

Like others, I would like to echo similar feelings about Jitterz. To put it in short, if there was a Jitterz in every street corner, it would put Starbucks out of business but then we all know that’s not going to happen :). When in Dubuque, please go into Jitterz for their amazing coffee, fresh baked goods, perfect portion breakfast sandwiches, free wifi, and overall chill atmosphere. I can’t wait to be back.

Okay, I can be a bit of an espresso snob because of 10 years of being a barista. I am giving Jitterz five stars because the baristas do pull quality shots. The folk who work there are the tops for good, friendly people that you want to get to know. They make Jitterz a place you want to bring a laptop or a good book, writing, etc. Personally, the roast of their espresso is not my favorite. But! I happily visit there whenever I have the chance.

If you’re not jittering, you need another cup! Jitterz coffee is an excellent choice for a place to stop and get caffeinated. It’s located in a neat little downtown district within walking distance of a few neat historical things. They have quite the variety of latté flavorings. Personally, I’m not really into that, but was impressed nonetheless. If you are the type that likes coffee, so long as it doesn’t taste like coffee, they can cater to you. For those of us that are coffee connoisseurs, they have also managed to cater to us. We ordered an iced coffee that was made as a hot brew put over ice cubes of a previous brew. It made for a really unique drink. This should definitely be a staple for the locals.

While on the way up to Oshkosh for EAA we passed through this cute and very old looking town and vowed to stop on the way back and am very glad we did! With a name like jitterz it was calling for my attention. Walking distance from the beautiful courthouse. They had good quality coffee and when I ordered a iced coffee I inquired if it was a Kyoto or what method they use and he explained they freeze the brewed coffee and pour the hot brew over the ice cubes to maintain the acidity and more of the signature flavor. Interesting and successful. Overall a very cute shop with some seating and wifi but most importantly a friendly helpful staff. Will be back on next years trip!

No corporate junk here. Great staff and superb baked goods. The changing art display is a great deal for customers and local artists.
