Under new ownership. There is a creepy Jesus painting on the wall and the staff barely speaks English. Tried it twice since the new owners and can’t find anything great to say. Guess it’s time to find a new pizza place in «the dud»

How is it only 6:20 pm but yet I can’t order a delivery? They close at 11 pm ??? I really like this pace but it’s hard to get? It would be a heck of a lot better if I could order my dinner at dinner time not be told no for delivery 3 ½ hours before closing.

Meh. I ordered here for the first time about a week ago, husband said the sub was eh but the BBQ pizza we ordered was great except for the ridiculous price for a small that was almost the size of a Celeste personal pizza. Also I got a crispy chicken Caesar salad to share. That to me was the best. Ordered a second time and the pizza this time was kinda gross. Today I ordered and will be my last order ever to big Al’s. Pizza like someone else said the sauce and cheese has a microwaveable taste to it. I was tempted to get my salad again, the one decision I regret making was to not get it and get boneless buffalo wings. They looked black as soon as I opened them, no sauce on them what so ever which was whatever. But the part that kills me is that they were soggy as soggy could be and barely warm. I suggest picking up if you do decide to order, took them over 45 minutes for someone who lives a 5 minute drive away. Another thing that’s helping me sway my decision to never order here again was my delivery driver. Not only did he not follow the instructions I added to my online order, he came to my kitchen back door barely knocked, thank god I was in there to go «huh? What was that noise?» And open the door to look. He also didn’t even say anything looked at me like I had four heads when I said«hey how are you» he mumbled my total and left. I regret even giving this guy a tip. I guess if you order here stick to what you know or you’ll regret it.

Been driving by this place for at least 2 years on my way home to Woodstock Ct and final stopped in to grab pizza for dinner at home. Clean… That is the first thing I noticed. Almost wanted to just have my pizza at the table by the window with a beer because the place looked so inviting but I’ll do that next time. 3 different pizza’s were all good. Best thing I can say is that I will be back.

Best Pizza in town period. The place is clean and always on top of its game!

Wow the pizza here is just plain terrible. While the crust isn’t bad, the sauce Nd cheese give this pizza the flavor of a cheap microwavable frozen pizza.

This is a hidden gem among the many mediocre pizza joints in the area. The food always tastes fresh and the inside of the place is immaculate and inviting. It instills the confidence that your food is prepared under clean, sanitary conditions. The neighborhood is a bit seedy, but don’t let that stop you from stopping in. Their pizza pies are fantastic! Not like the typical Greek-owned pizza places that dominate the area, but more like authentic Italian-style pizza you would get in the North End of Boston. It’s always busy when I go there, which tells me that others have discovered just how good the food is. The prices are budget-friendly too, so you can bring your whole family and not go broke feeding everyone.

I try to stay out of this part of town as much as possible as it is pretty gritty and depressing even. It is right on the Dudley/Webster border near the downtown Webster area, which often looks like a scene from the movie Mad Maxx. A friend of mine moved to the area and brought me to Big Al’s. The inside is clean and nice. It looks like it was just rennovated. Big Al himself was behind the counter when we went in and he warmly greeted my friend, who is a regular. I ordered my go-to … Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It came and looked great. The chicken was fried but didn’t seem like the cheap chicken tender variety. There was a perfect amount of hot(and it was spicy!) sauce and blue cheese. The shredded lettuce was crisp and fresh. Overall, I’d put it up into the ecchelon of top 5 Buffalo Chicken Wraps I have had. They offer beer and soda as well.(Not the best deal for beer, but whatever.) The sandwich was reasonably priced, maybe a buck or two more than what I am used to paying but worth the extra. I used to get my Buffalo Chicken wraps from Jimmy’s Pizza in Dudley … but now I am a Big Al’s fan. They aren’t open every day of the week, so check their website to make sure they are open when you go. There have been a few times where I’ve driven there only to wind up dissapointed. You won’t find anyplace better in the Dudley/Webster area … which in itself isn’t saying much. But the food seriously is good and would be better than most local places in any small town or city. I’d highly recommend Big Al’s, who doesn’t do a lot of advertising so it’s never crowded.

A bit off the beaten path, but well worth finding. My friend has been raving about them for a while now, I decided to check it out for myself as I was in the area and looking for something to eat. To be honest, it looked OK as I drove up, though nothing special. I walked in and was happy I did. The inside was immaculate and inviting. The dining room was clean and fairly large. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers, which is always a good sign. I chose a Chicken Parmesan sandwich that didn’t disappoint. Toasted just right plus the chicken was both tender and juicy. I was quite happy with my choice. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this establishment.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The staff was wonderful, and Big Al himself is usually around the front and the kitchen to answer your questions and prepare your food! I highly recommend this place.
