Ernesto Gordon was professional and courteous, he followed up with me and made sure I was happy with my purchases. He provided his input and suggestions where needed, no pressure to buy or anything like that. His employee, Greg Jones was awful. I went in to pick up my suits and Greg clearly wanted nothing to do with helping other people if he wasn’t making a sale. He went in the back for 2 seconds to look for my suits only to return saying he assumed they were sent to their overflow person because they were backed up with tailoring orders. I questioned his answer and stated it seems ridiculous to not be able to track inventory. Low and behold my suits were in the back the entire time he just refused to spend the extra 5 seconds to open his eyes and locate them. Thankfully the rest of the team seems competent but Greg hasn’t learned what customer service, referrals or how important the customer experience really is. Thanks for the recommendations, Ernesto, you’re definitely the guy to see!

Very poor customer service. This is a review for the main office in Hampstead, MD. I returned an Internet purchase to them in October 2014 and still have not received a refund. Despite proof of USPS delivery, Jos A Bank claims they can’t find the package. When I told them what the merchandise inside the returned package was they have ignored my numerous requests for a refund. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. By receiving my return and failing to issue a refund, Jos A Bank has essentially stolen money from me. It should be a crime.

I’m not sure if it is just this store, but store mgr Ernesto Gordon doesn’t believe in providing customer service. I had a wardrobe maflunction after wearing my suit 3 times, but instead of owning problem and providing excellent customer service, i was turned away which made me wonder why I bought there. I don’t expect people to jump through hoops, but aren’t these stores supposed to be providing something near good customer service?
