We ate here because we had a Groupon deal for $ 20 towards the restaurant and a round of mini-golf. This restaurant is on the Georgia trail golf course. We decided to have lunch before we played putt-putt. We went there on a Sunday exactly at noon and seated ourselves outside on the balcony. We thought it might be a little crowded because it’s a Sunday and prime lunch time for people getting out of church. But there were only two groups sitting inside and 3 other groups sitting outside. We thought we should be able to eat right way! We were so wrong. The waitress was very nice and quick to take our drink and food order. Only one problem with that, she was the only waitress working that day! And later we found out there was only one cook in the kitchen as well! We ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer, I ordered the fried green tomato sandwich for my entrée and my fiancé ordered the club sandwich. Pretty simple stuff right? We did not get our appetizer until after an hour later! For chips and salsa!!! Our sandwiches came out 30 minutes after we finished our appetizer! These were simple sandwiches! Everything tasted fine, but the food wasn’t the problem. I feel really bad for our waitress because she was trying to work really hard, but there was just her. The crowd also grew bigger as we sat there through lunch. Clearly the issue with this place is poor management. I have never been to a restaurant on a Sunday afternoon with such low staffing! If you enjoy a two to three hour lunch then maybe this is the place for you. The best part about this restaurant is the outside seating that overlook the golf course. This restaurant has so much potential. But we will not be coming back to eat at this restaurant.

The burgers are pretty decent, though pretty much average. The fried green tomato sandwich was very good and pretty different. As far as the price, we used a group on so it was a good deal. Otherwise 9.95 for the burger was so not worth it along with the Kroger brand mustard they serve. The fried green tomato sandwich was also $ 9.95, again not a ten dollar sandwich but at a lower price point it e would be good.

It was decent. The power went out twice(it was a sunny day) and my colleague and I were trying to work on our laptops. That caused the internet to drop. The internet was very slow also. Their prices are great though and they have a full service restaurant/bar. On the plus side there is a golf course and driving range. Also apparently a nightclub is about to open…

What has happened. In the past our lunch group has always had quick service with good food, but lately… Last month we stopped in, took over 30 minutes to get our sandwiches but the quality was still good, however we had to do the hound dog inhale since time was running out. Today we said let try again. Inside, sat down, received menus, waited, waited, waited, waited, began to doze, 10, 15, then 20. Nothing, nobody. We looked around and saw two tables of folks sitting, searching, staring. They must have been silently thinking… Which way did they go George, Which way did they go? This would be all of the employees. Our group looked again, voted quickly, and left for Sub of Subs where we should have went in the first place! BTW, we did not even get a drink order in much less anything else. I loved this place, is this just a current short problem? I hope so, if not it won’t be around much longer.

I was unsure of this place. There was no one to seat us and seemed like a simple pro shop. However, the food was great and the price was very reasonable. We tried the Philly burger, sweet and salty burger, and pork chop. All were very good the pork chop was very juicy. I would definitely come back to this place when I’m back in town.

Outrageously good food at low prices. Hard to beat this place. Nightly specials and great menu.

What a great outdoor seat place, that is if you want to be there for a few hrs. Our server took our order, and the food took over an hr to arrive. They constantly thrived on the children sandwich(p, b & J w/marshmallows) and they were out of marshmallows. The food was ok. Not worth the wait though. Once our food was served, our waitress disappeared. There isn’t a lot on the menu so you would think food would come out quicker. Several people were complaining about the amt of time it was taking to cook the food and the service. We said something too, but they said ‘next time it will be better’ a friend went back 2 weeks later and again they were out of their kids signature sandwich, service was poor, and took awhile for the food.

If you enjoy taking a 2 – 3 hour lunch, then this is the place for you. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive AFTER we placed the order. I wanted to bang my head against the lovely wooden table. And our waitress disappeared completely after taking our order, so we kept having to flag down other waitresses. Our side salads and soups did not come prior to the meal, so I was pretty much ready to eat a golfball. I ordered the club sandwich, and it was incredibly weaksauce. Weaksauce, I say! The chili tasted like it came from the can, and the sweet potato fries came out a little cold. They have a nice, long balcony, which gets the second star. And the prices, too. I was wondering why the food was so cheap for it being at a golf course, but now I know. My club sandwich was $ 7.95, but I’d rather pay more and not be starved to death and have to constantly wonder where our waitress is. Definitely a nay.
