Choe’s HapKiDo has children, adult and family programs. I’ve been training for the last 6 years and have no intention of stopping. Between the martial art classes and kickboxing it’s a complete and energizing workout! The best part? I’m always learning! Give it a try, you won’t regret it! My friend described it best the other day. «it’s addictive». Come get your sweat on!

Cody, the instructor is GREAT! If your looking for a great workout which also includes a personal trainer this would be your place. There’s never a dual moment with this workout which changes weekly so you are never able to get comfortable, but that’s great for your body. You have the option to try out before you commit, just go to , this location is of course pleasant hill and there are two specials, one would be 3 classes including a new pair of boxing gloves for 19.99 and the second would be 5 classes and new gloves for 29.99. I would say if you stick to it the pounds will fall! Trust me

I strongly disagree with the other review that was posted and I will advise why. Myself and three other co-workers started on a deal from Groupon last year. The deal was 10 classes for $ 30 at the time. When the deal was up, the class was $ 60 a month to continue. Since we all signed up, the price was dropped to $ 50/month. The class is offered 5 days a week(Mon-Thurs and SaturdayYou can’t beat that especially when the workout always is changing and you are working out hard! I dropped 2 dress sizes in 2 months going to this class, and I was going 4 days a week! I did get lazy and drop out, but I just started back and guess what! I still was quoted my same old price! The instructor is Cody who is really nice and a great instuctor! The class is 1 hour. The warm up starts with running around the mat about 4 – 5 times and you’re doing punching moves. Then comes the Insanity part of the warm up and that lasts about 20 minutes and it’s INTENSE! Kickboxing part: The boxing bags are brought out and you do have to share with other people, but you don’t have to wait on other people to still work out! Cody shows the moves which are timed when to switch from the right side to the left! He walks around and makes sure that EVERYONE knows the moves, and will show you in slow motion so you get it! He also has senior students who also assist with walking around to assist. The original facility was small, but they have moved next door recently and it’s soo much larger and there are more boxing bags. There was sometimes a slight smell in the old facility but I haven’t experienced that at all in the new facility. The class is always crowded and a great workout!

I am very surprised there is no review yet on this place. I bought a Groupon deal and used it. I was excited since one of my fave classes at LA Fitness is Cardio Kickboxing so I was excited to actually go to a kickboxing facility. The deal was great 10 classes for $ 50 and you get free boxing gloves. I went twice a week with a friend. The beginning is just like Insanity then standing boxing bags are brought out. I was a little disappointed cause sometimes we had to share with a few others. I felt that those few minutes waiting for other to punch were wasted. In addition, no moves were being taught. If I didn’t have knowledge of martial arts than I would be really lost. After using all 10 of the classes, I would have to say I would not come back. It was not a bad experience but not a great one either. The place was really small. It stinks. I felt that it was not cleaned up. When doing crutches, I could smell the mats and it was stinky.
