Dollar Tree

It’s like ever other Dollar Tree. I love that everything is a dollar! Unlike other «dollar» stores that charge more then a dollar for their items. I was able to rack up on holiday decorations from here and not spend an arm and a leg.

I’ll admit, I don’t usually frequent Dollar Tree unless its for odds and ends for party gear: i.e. photo booth props just because I can’t bring myself to buy specifically labeled «prop» merchandise that I know are packaged to appear to be worth the huge markup price.
But I’ve been working on a special project and a lot of the youtube DIY’s videos have been featuring stuff from Dollar Tree. Unfortunately, the closest Dollar Tree to me isn’t very well stocked so I ventured over to this one located in the Assi plaza.
The store is very large and pretty organized. I was able to find lots of the things I was looking for, and with everything being $ 1 I kinda went a bit crazy with my purchases.
The staff was pretty nice and informative. I asked where a particular floral styrofoam was and she was able to guide me to the right section. She even took real, special care in bagging up the glass vases I got to.
The lay out is pretty standard for Dollar Tree, and there is a freezer section in the back along with a drink cooler and an ice cream freezer chest near the registers.
The line would sometimes get pretty long, but the cashiers were very efficient in getting customers out the door with their purchases quickly.

I feel like I am the last to know about this place! I stopped in just to see if they carried locks since they carry so many other products I never expected them to have. Lo and behold, I found the locks on the automotive aisle. Combination as well as padlocks were hanging on the wall. This time I really got a chance to look around and I must say I am still amazed! I really heart this place. One thing that I love is a bargain. Great location in the Assi Plaza. I love that the aisles are spacious enough for 2 people to walk through side by side because sometimes I like to lean when I walk.

This is a GREAT place to get cleaning supplies for your house. Instead of $ 40 at Walmart you can get a full set of cleaning supplies for under $ 10.
