It’s not like Piedmont Arts festival where you’ll see paintings that are $ 500+. Most of the art here were sculptures and not paintings that ranged from $ 20 to $ 50. I really like the main stage that had a group of kids covering classic rock songs. There were plenty of chairs too. Pros The art and food are decently priced. Large. Cons The problem with this festival is that it’s happening when there are a lot of other festivals going on in ATL. Greek festival, AWA, and others. Would I come here again? Maybe. I don’t have time to do all the festivals so I’ll probably try the Greek festival next year.

This is such a huge festival. The food and its variety here were pretty cheap. If you wait towards the end of the festival, some vendor booths will give away their food. Some. Not all. lol. There were all sorts of vendors: arts and crafts, plant growers, photographers, healthcare workers, promotional booths, and so much more. So after browsing and shopping your heart out, buy some food, then sit down at the main stage and enjoy the free entertainment. And yes, chairs are provided… Parking can be a pain, but there were plenty of spots around the immediate area of down town. Drive around and you will find a spot.

DULUTH’S FALLFESTIVAL This is my favorite annual festival because it has everything! We usually arrive early enough to get our favorite free parking spot. We are right where we need to be and usually set our chairs out so that we can catch the parade. This is one of the better festival parades because the streets are wide and there are no barriers and you get up close and personal to the participants and the candy. I usually scream for candy because my daughter likes candy and I like the interaction. Publix has the best candy because it is a nice variety and it is chilled. Yes, I noticed that Publix, good job! CHOA is second when it comes to good candy as they too have a nice variety that includes chocolate, not just the cheap hard stuff. Once the parade ends, we put our chairs and candy away and go about seeing our favorite vendors,(they are usually in the same place so that you can easily find them each year), and checking out the new additions. We are usually at the festival pretty early so we are still able to see everything before it gets too crowded. Since there is such a good variety of artisans and crafters, there is always something to buy. Now, my only complaints about the festival are: having to leave to find a healthy meal, not being able to find adequate seating to listen to music, and never getting an opportunity to ride the rides because the midway does not open until late in the evening. Even so, you will still have a great time at this festival. It is great for families, couples and anyone who just enjoys being outdoors, shopping and socializing. This year’s festival will be on Sept 26, 2015 so mark it on your calendar and get ready!
