This place is such a waste of money. Stay away! Server acted more like a customer chilling and smoking hookah. Does anyone actually work here or so they just charge a lot of money for nothing!

All these reviews must be this business’ close friends or family. Because this place is by far the WORST place to go in all of gwinnett. Took them 30 mins to cook 15 pieces of cold calamari. Drinks were served at room temperature. And prices were wayyyyy over priced. I will never go back unless it was to put a warning sign for all of gwinnett to avoid this place

My boyfriend and I have been here twice, and we love it. My boyfriend is really particular about hookah, and he thinks they do a great job here. I really love the atmosphere and the cushioned floor seating. Our server was able to give us really great hookah flavor recommendations, and he was really attentive without being overbearing(which can make or break a hookah bar when you want to hang out without being watched or conversely ignored). The only downside is that they don’t serve alcohol, so I would recommend pregaming somewhere else or coming here as the pregame. Either way, I think it keeps the place from being filled with drunk idiots like a lot of hookah bars. I would highly recommend this place for dates or for hanging out with friends.

Went here the other day with couple friends and it was empty. Literally empty. Not even a host nor any employee was in the front and nobody came up until we called the store again about 5 – 10 minutes later… I knew we should have left when we smelled the restrooms from the entrance … Our whole experience here was basically as bad as the smell coming in… Terrible. Everything was really overpriced, the waiter honestly didn’t know what he was doing, and the food was mediocre. They don’t even have an alcohol license. There are much cheaper hookah lounges around that id rather visit when I’m in the area again. Also, id like to add that some of the first«good» reviews seem fake.

This place is terrible. Bunch of fans and vents blowing air around everywhere, so you can’t do any tricks with the hookah because all of the smoke blows away the instant it leaves your mouth. Our waiter had no clue what he was doing and pretty much ripped us off. The menu does not give you much information about pricing, so be prepared to be charged a lot for random things you didn’t know you purchased. Basically, it cost about $ 60 for 3 waters, 1 small plate of hummus(which did not include any chips or pita), and about 1 hour of hookah. Complete rip-off and it smells like dead people inside. DONOTGOHERE. EDIT: I tried not to say too much about the waiter(Chris E.), because he seemed like he was trying hard. But now that I see that he wrote a fake review to cover up his ass, I’m going to say it like it is. He was terrible. He never specified anything, and told us the hookah was going to be around $ 30 – 40. It was $ 60. Then he tried to overprice the hookah head by adding a dollar to the bill. He thought we were dumb and tried to milk as much money out of us as possible. We even tipped him, although the service was terrible. No wonder this hookah bar is dead. This place sucks major balls.

The worst. We had to call the place to let them know we were waiting in the front after 5 min. Price for 3 people to hookah ended up to be $ 60. Got charged for«Ice hose» for $ 5 and milk for $ 5 and those weren’t on the menu nor asked for. We asked for water and they brought us bottle waters and charged us $ 2 for each. So if you wanna ripped off, come here. Ps: It’s pretty funny that the most recent fake rating is from our waiter. Hahaha

Amazing place for a relaxed dine in. Kabobs are really good. Prefer lamb to chicken kabobs.

The food was delicious and fresh we ordered the mixed platter with rice and 4 different meats. But the service sucked they only had one party of 10 and 4 other people who had already been served. When we walked In there was no one to greet us we went looking for a host she told us to sit anywhere 10mins later a lady comes and tries to take our order just to find we don’t even have menus then I had to get up and go track her down after waiting about 15 mins, to tell her we were ready to order. finally, the food comes out about an hour after ordering and she just puts it on the table and leaves it’s a huge platter to share. we had no utensils or plates at this point me and my boyfriend are looking at each other like really. Finally the Manager is going around the tables to check if everyone’s ok and I tell him we still have nothing to eat in or with he says oh wow I’m so sorry but at this point we just wanted to leave we told him to Togo the food and give us our check before he left he said for the inconvenience he would take off a certain percentage off the bill which when it came wasn’t done and he said next time you come just tell the server sonny said give me 30%off. Yea… like I’ll be going there again!

I come here all the time. Ahmed has great customer service. The hookahs last for a good 4 hours. If you don’t know what to get flavor wise tell him to hook it up and you have yourself a great hookah. I come here all the time with my friends and never once had we not been unsatisfied. You get what you paid for and its worth it.

Lots of fake reviews for this place so I thought I’d give a real one. The only word I can think of to adequately describe my experience at Hashemites is bizarre. The restaurant/hookah lounge is located near gwinnett place mall, in a space that I think used to be Ryan’s buffet. The interior is huge, dark, sparsely decorated and feels really musty. It is usually empty. In a space this large, lack of people makes it feel kind of creepy. The hookah is smokable but not great. The food is authentic but does not taste fresh(it’s got a mustiness to it, too). The only shining light in this establishment is the owner and staff. Everybody is just so nice and willing to help. I want to like this place because of them, and I have tried by going back on multiple occasions. The atmosphere just so strange and bad. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless it’s an absolute last resort.

Chill atmosphere, very friendly waiter. This place has plenty of space with a variety of seats(floor level with cushions and pillows, high tops, and even booths). Shishas have a cool design. I came in early during the day with my friends so the lounge was pretty empty. I didn’t try the food but tried a smoothie which tasted decent. Hookah on the other hand was great. Update: After some time, I’ve come to update my review which changed my impression of this place over time. I love the atmosphere of this place as well as the amount of space this place has. The seats are comfortable no matter where you sit. This lounge has an OKAY variety of hookah but all of them taste pretty well and come out thick(which is great for me). What really hurts this place is pricing, I typically just come here with my friends just to order hookah, but at times they try to throw in a fruit head without asking you and end up charging you extra for it. If you ask for water, they usually provide bottled water instead to charge you, which I feel they should let you know ahead of time instead of nickeling and diming you without realizing. Just a session here alone will sometimes have you scratching your head why the total is $ 30 – 40 just for hookah and water. I used to be a regular here, but once I started spending more time at other hookah lounges, I realize how much money I could save. Every time I’ve visit this place, I notice it’s usually dead or slow, whether it’s late at night, or on the weekends. I’ve tried the food here a few times, and can say it’s not that great, but not that bad either. They don’t have much in terms of drinks, but their smoothies here are great. They don’t serve any alcoholic beverages(which I’m not entirely sure why) but I feel that if they do serve it, they could attract more potential customers. This place should definitely consider making some changes. Everything they provide here, can be found at other hookah bars for a smaller price plus more.

If you want Hookah, this is a quiet place where you can meet friends, chat, and munch on some food. I would not recommend this as a stand-alone restaurant though. I went with some friends that wanted to smoke hookah; I just tagged along and was hungry and wanted to eat some delicious food. We ordered a pizza, calamari, and grape leaves with stuffing for appetizers. Entrees were mostly Kabob meals. Pizza looked and tasted like a microwave pizza. I like microwave pizzas but don’t like to order them at restaurants for $ 13.99. The calamari was okay. The grape leaves were okay too. I can say the Beef Kabob was good and the rice that accompanied it was delicious too. I got 5 large bite-size pieces of beef(i think most people would cut it in half and eat them… i was very hungry), and a good heap of rice. I would have guessed this to be a $ 8 – 10 entrée but the price of this kabob dinner was $ 17.99. There were about four groups there at the time, one group of about 10, a group of around 4 people, a couple, and our group of 6. There was one server, and a couple of others [owner(s) perhaps?] and I guess she was busy most of the time with about 20+ people to serve — not really her fault — she might have been busy the entire time. I don’t smoke at all, so I don’t know if this is a good hookah lounge. There is no alcohol; that is okay with me but others may not like that but if you want to chill, smoke, and snack, this might be for you.

So I have been here twice now. Let’s start with the food. The food is great. I normally don’t eat a lot of Mediterranean food but from what I have had in the past, this is the best. Always served hot and fresh. We had the Grill Mixer and the Turkeyroni pizza. The hot tea is nice but does not have free refills. Only fountain drinks have the refills. Next is the hookah. The hookah here is similar to other places I go. They offer a very wide selection of shisha. The brands of shisha used is Al Fakher and Starbuzz. The hookahs themselves are clean and well cared for. The staff are continually checking on you to make sure the hookah is still good and changing the coals. Now for the establishment. The two times I have been there, we were waited on by the owner. He is a young and sweet guy that has started an excellent business. I haven’t seen large crowds but we normally go in on off days and hours. From what I hear, the place has a nice crowd on Fri and Sat nights. The building is off the beaten path so it may be a little hard to find. Every time we have visited, the restaurant is clean. The last time I was there, there was one toilet that was out of order but that is to be expected in a business(at least every once in a while). I read something about there being a foul odor. I have never smelt a foul odor. I have noticed the smell of the food and hookah(neither of which is foul). Overall, this is a great place to come and relax. The staff are friendly, the food is good, the atmosphere is relaxing and the hookah is good. I’m glad I gave this place a try and I will be returning again soon.
