I applied Frontline Plus to my dog, and after three weeks, he was even worse off. He had bit and scratched himself until he bled, his hair is falling out, and there are even more fleas on him than before. I called for a refund, but it turns out their guarantee states that Frontline must be used for three consecutive months in order to get a refund, and single doses cannot be refunded at all. There’s no way I’m going to let my dog suffer for three months waiting for this garbage to work. Frontline Plus and Merial Limited should get no business, they’re a terrible company.

We bought our first dose of Frontline Plus for cats 9 days ago from our Veterinarian. The cat still has fleas. When the vet’s office was asked about a refund, they said that Frontline won’t accept any of their office’s complaints about the product not working. They have had other customers complain about the product, too.(I asked them why they don’t stop selling it and the gal said she’ll be asking the head Vet about discontinuing the product.) I called Frontline direct to ask/tell them about the product not working. The customer service gal was slightly combative and also fairly rude. I answered several questions about where the cat goes, lays, etc. and after I was done answering all of them, I received plenty of excuses about why there are still fleas on her — after 8 days of the product being on her.(Yes, the product instructions were followed.) The gal insisted that the product works totally fine and that we are«not letting it work». She said it must be our fault for letting the cat continually lay where there is a regular source of fleas and that it is obvious to her that new fleas are getting on her, so that is why we still see fleas. When I told her that even the crap Hartz brand(bought places like WalMart) work keeps«new» fleas OFF the cat, she said that their product is «guaranteed» but, we would have to treat the cat with two more monthly treatments(so there was a total of 3 months) BEFORE we could request a refund! What a STUPID company tactic — just to get people to buy more of a crappy product. I told her that I was not going to spend any more money on a product that doesn’t work and that I wasn’t going to go through the time/trouble of cleaning, re-cleaning and picking fleas off the cat when it is the inadequate product’s fault. How stupid does this company think people are!!! I also told her I would NEVER buy this product again and that I would pass the information along to everyone I could, so they wouldn’t buy it, either.. .. plus, I was going to start writing reviews about my experience with this TERRIBLE company and their product, too!!!
