Stop it with fake meat… when I order pork belly, I expect pork belly… lady server was very nice, only reason for extra star. food, definitely junk. 2 unlimited 1 bottle of soju, 2 beers with tip it was right below $ 90. This place and Iron age definitely got me thinking… no more damn unlimited bbq restaurants.

This restaurant would have gotten 5 stars if it was not for the terrible service that was there that night. Waiters came at an extremely slow rate and were«told» to stop serving us even though our 3 hour meal time was not up. Our whole group came around 8 and planned on eating until 11 but the waiters would not come back out at around 10:15. Besides the terrible service for that night everything else about this restaurant was amazing, the selections and variety of meats were everything that you could imagine. From bulgogi to spicy chicken, everything was of the highest quality. If I were to get another chance to go to Atlanta I would go back to ohmysamgyupsal as it is one of the best Korean barbecue places in Atlanta by far.

I have never had Korean BBQ and really didn’t know what to do but they were very helpful and didn’t make me feel weird for not knowing what to do. I don’t have anything to compare it to but the food was amazing.

A bit pricey for what you get. Although it is ALYCE, we only had 3 selection of meat … beef brisket, pork belly, and marinated pork belly … side items were chopped lettuce, shredded cabbage, white rice, bean sprout, kimchi, miso soup, and some rice wrap thingy. Quality of meat was A-Okay. I do wish that we had more choices in the meat and that they gave you more portion so I’m not always waiting for the meat to cook. The waitress did not smile and just seem very tired :(… Soft serve ice cream was nice and creamy though. yum! The place seemed funky and cool — very laid back. It is located in quite an interesting plaza with Wind Mill café, some Korean street food restaurant, and a couple of other interesting place. So all in all, the food, the service, the location and the price equates to about 3 stars. Nothing more, nothing less.

The place was nice. We came in about five minutes after they opened so service was slow at first. Ordered the all you can eat menu. $ 22, comes with a few sides, salad, kimchi, rice paper. A few more spices. Most likely will return. Beef brisket is what I like.

Went here over the weekend with people from work. We all choose option b which included everything on option A(unlimited Beef brisket, thinly sliced pork belly, wine pork belly, marinated garlic pork belly, and soy bean marinated pork belly) plus char — grilled pork for $ 25 per person. The AYCE came with dipping sauces(ssamjang, sesame oil, and a spicy sauce), pickled radish wrap, rice paper wrap, greens, rice and that was pretty much it. Except for kimchi and stir fried soy bean sprouts, they don’t really give you any other banchans. They offered some soup and steamed egg but we were only given one small soup and one small steamed egg. When we asked if we can get more, our waitress said it was extra charge. Seriously? There were 6 of us and for the price of the AYCE we should be able to get more soup and/or steamed egg. Other than the extra charge on soup and steamed egg, the service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. The meat quality was good as well. They give out free soft served ice cream at the end. If you love pork and tons of it, this is a great restaurant to eat at.

in short, you get what you pay for. in their ayce of 22.99 $, you get mediocre-quality beef brisket, 4 types of marinated pork belly, salted pork neck, egg soufflé, soup, and rice. beef brisket is chewy, even before the meat is cooked well done. basically low quality. i couldn’t swallow the pork belly because the unpleasant pork smell was so strong. this was with garlic paste… garlic had nothing on this pork. after tasting the pork belly, i didn’t even give the neck meat a try. figured they didn’t know how to handle pork properly(or meat wasn’t good in the first place). the side dishes and sauces are standard. i really liked their soup and kimchi — i ended up filling myself with them. the server was quick to bring our food, but then we went right at 3pm when nobody else was in the restaurant. honestly, you should spend a little more to get better quality meat elsewhere. i should’ve known something was up when their ayce was only $ 23(not that it’s anything cheap, just saying for a kbbq price it’s on the lower end). they also have more expensive ayce with more variety of meats(marinated chicken and whatnot) but the essence, aka brisket and pork belly, is still below average.

This place offers above average quality meat for a lower price. The service is excellent, and the side offerings are awesome. Unfortunately, the pricing structure for the menu limits variety and the ventilation for the smoke isn’t the best. My family and I defaulted to Oh! My SamGyupSal because of it was the only place on a Saturday night that was available without an hour plus wait. The joint is a bit of a drive from the other Korean BBQ places, which makes it a good spot for those who know where to go. The menu allows four AYCE options, but it’s a bit restrictive in its choices. The options are tiered so the higher priced options include the lower priced options. Unfortunately, my family disagreed on what we wanted to eat, so we compromised with option A. Everyone at the table had to order the same option, which makes sense, but was still annoying. The meat here is cooked at an angle, allowing the fat to roll off onto a bed of kimchi. The resulted fatty roasted kimchi is glorious and definitely my favorite aspect about this place. We ate through like 6 plates of meat for 4 people, before declaring it a day. The service was excellent — the waitress did most of the cooking. Unfortunately, the ventilation wasn’t the best, so I was consistently hit with a face full of smoke. Still, we walked out happy and smelling like Korean BBQ. What more can you ask for?

My husband and I both enjoyed this place. We wanted an early dinner and arrived around 6:30pm on a Saturday and there was ample seating at that time. The décor is unique in that people have made their own personal mark by drawing all over the walls. They have TV’s all over the place playing sports and what not. It’s a place where you can enjoy the company of others or with your significant other. The menu you have the option between pork items, beef items, two chicken items(bulgogi flavored and spicy) and the unlimited option(option either A, B, C or D.) If you go this route, the whole party has to order the same option. So one person can’t order option B and another person orders option D. We opted for option C which costs $ 30.00 per person and that gets you unlimited option A, B(beef brisket, beef neck, and a variety of different flavored pork belly) plus spicy chicken, chicken bulgogi, beef bulgogi(a slightly sweet and savory marinated beef.) All of the BBQ comes with seasoned bean sprouts and kimchi. They do have a few items you can order if you don’t want BBQ. The side dishes you receive with your meal are cabbage salad, seasoned lettuce, dipping sauces, miso paste, jalapeños and raw garlic, rice wrappers that you can wrap the meat in and gives a nice chewy texture to it, radish to wrap your meat in and my favorite personally. The radish has a slightly sweet and tangy flavor. It really helps cut all the rich flavor from the meat. They do serve alcohol but there isn’t a huge variety. Our server was great. He was very friendly and attentive. He was more than happy to help when my husband had questions. At the end of the meal they will give you kimchi fried rice and you can grab a free soft serve on your way out. This is a place for pork and beef lovers with big appetites. Overall we had a very good experience and we’re both exhausted from eating. We’ll be back again though :)

My friends and I came here to have all you can eat BBQ. Most of the meat on their menu is pork is just be aware if you have any friends who are vegetarian or can’t eat pork. My friends and I ended up getting option B(~$ 26). We enjoyed the charcoal fire marinated pork and soy bean marinated pork(who would have thought, right?). A lot of their meat some sort of pork belly so it can be a little much with all the fat from the pork belly. I like the bbq stations they use where they tilt the pan so that the oil is collected at the bottom. They also provide salad, rice paper/wrap, bean sprouts and kimchi. My favorite part about this restaurant is their service. The server comes quickly with our meat and helped us start cooking it and was very attentive and polite!

This was such an exciting trip to my first full korean bbq experience Date of visit: 02÷13÷16 Food: 4 Ambience: 2 Locations: 3 Service: 4 Food: We did the basic category A for the AYCE — It came with all kinds of pork and beef. It was delicious after we poured all the unknown sauces on the grill. I think it was between $ 22 and $ 25. They also provide complimentary fried rice, which is very different from typical Chinese — American(I know Oh My! is Korean) fried rice, and unlimited ice cream(soft serve) Ambience: It is very interesting with all the graffiti on the walls and corners. The tables seem too small for the number of chairs, considering that there are BBQ grills on there. I would appreciate if this spot had more of a swanky feel. Location: It is in a strip mall with ample parking. Service: We had one waiter for a table of 10. I was impressed with how she stayed on top of our numerous requests

I recently made my second visit to Oh! My SamGyupSal. I can gladly say it was soooo much better than my first experience here. The first time I came here I felt the quality of the meat wasn’t great and a couple of the side dishes tasted horrid. My dad told me he would buy dinner the other night so I quickly responded with GOGI!!!(Meat!!!) I LOVE my protein. haha. The service has been consistent and acceptable for how busy they can get. In the beginning I thought to myself that our waiter was a little slow in bringing out our orders. However, I watched him for a few minutes and realized he was constantly running around trying to cater to several tables. haha. That sounded kind of Creepy… Watched him. Ahem. I patiently observed. Better? No? Their menu options include both Unlimited KBBQ and individual entrees. However, most people I know generally come here for the Unlimited KBBQ because you get your best bang for your buck eating until you can’t move or have a difficult time breathing. In regards to ALLYOUCANEATKBBQ, they have 4 different option labeled as A($ 22.99), B($ 25.99), C($ 30.99), D($ 36.99). Each subsequent letter after ‘A’ includes a couple more options than the previous; therefore, it also cost a little more. All options include the Soy Bean Paste Soup which is generally offered towards the end of your meal. However, you can ask for it early on if you want to enjoy it while you eat your protein. Option A or B is usually best suited for my family. However, I can see option C being popular since it includes Bulgogi. A($ 22.99): Beef Brisket, Thinly Sliced Pork Belly, Regular Pork Belly(marinated with either Wine, Garlic, Soy Bean, or Herb), Salt-grilled neck B($ 25.99): Includes option A + Seasoned Soy Sauce marined Pork, Charcoal Fired marinated pork C($ 30.99): Includes option A & B + Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken, Chicken Bulgogi D($ 36.99): Includes option A, B, & C + Pre-grilled pork, Spicy thinly sliced pork belly, Angus Sirloin Steak They don’t have built in grills at the tables here, but they provide you a gas grill and a grill pan. The side dishes at Oh My Samgyupsal includes their Salad, thin slices of pickled radish, sliced cabbage in a sweet soy sauce, garlic slices, jalepeno slices, kimchi and bean sprouts, The latter two are placed on your grill pan to cook by your waiter/waitress. They also give you Dduk Bossam(White, Square-shaped Rice Wrappers). This is how I like to eat my KBBQ: 1. place a couple pieces of salad, meat, garlic, kimchi, a little slice of the pickled radish, and jalepeno on your plate and try to stack it nicely as possible. 2. Then I rip a slice of the Rice Wrapper and place it over your mound. 3. I take my chopsticks and pinch the Rice Wrapper around my mini pile I created. 4. Eat it and think about how yummy it is. They provide you with a 3 compartment sauce dish with the red pepper paste, sesame oil with salt/pepper, and a korean grain powder called misugaru. You can dip your meat in the sauce of your choice before making your wrap or just dip your meat in there and eat it. Towards the end of my meal, I like to leave some meat, kimchi, bean sprouts, garlic, and jalepenos on the grill and tell the waiter I would like to finish my meal as a fried rice. They will go to the back and grab a bowl of rice, red pepper paste, and various ingredients and mix everything up in the bowl. Then they will lay aluminum foil on your grill pan and spread out your rice mixture. Sooo Good!!! Especially as the rice gets crispy as it heats up. Gently use your spoon to scrape up your fried rice. They provide you iced water but will also provide you hot tea at request. I recommend you to drink some hot tea in between eating your meats as it will help wash down the grease. If you are feeling an alcoholic beverage while you eat, you can choose from beer, korean vodka(Soju), korean wines(Rice wine, Herbal wine, Berry Wines). You can also order their flavored cocktail soju in various flavors such as Strawberry, Mango, Peach, Pineapple, Yogurt, and Pomegranate. If you still have a tiny, tiny bit of room left after overloading yourself with unlimited KBBQ, you can grab yourself some complimentary coffee or ice cream at the machine in the front of the restaurant near the entrance. FYI: The coffee machine automatically pops out a cup when you press the button.

Oh My Samgyupsal is hands down the most consistent Korean BBQ restaurant in Atlanta. I didn’t say best, but in a time of Korean BBQ political turmoil(aka price hikes, competitive plays and renovations or relocations), Oh My Samgyupsal has stood the test of time. The cheapest AYCE option is now $ 22.99, which is cheaper than most other Korean BBQ restaurants right now, which usually range from $ 23 – 35 per person. Meat is standard: pork belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and of course the beef brisket. My favorite meat is the thinly sliced pork belly, but it takes a little while to cook so I tend to order brisket over the thinly sliced pork. AYCE here also comes with the steamed egg, tofu soup, and fried rice at the end of the meal. Note that no other Korean BBQ restaurant does complimentary fried rice anymore(Iron Age decided to ruin their own restaurant by doing this, along with various other changes). And for those who love dduk(rice paper) they still have it here! Most other restaurants(like Iron Age) have stopped serving dduk. The salad was light and crisp fresh. The fried rice was a bit odd without meat(we cleaned up shop pretty nicely and decided not to go overboard with meat) but at least they still offer it… And have I mentioned how amazing their soju cocktails are? YAS. Peach and mango are my favorites. Oh, and free ice cream and coffee(NOLIMIT. WHYWOULDYOUDOTHAT, IRONAGE??) Service is always friendly, although not always around to cook your food. That’s ok, I didn’t ask them to stay. I prefer to be able to have good conversation without them listening in, anyway. So want some solid Korean BBQ? Oh My Samgyupsal is that place(and sorry not sorry, Iron Age, for all the hate).

Oh! My SamGyupSal is a hardcore meat eater’s wet dream. For a little over $ 20, a person can eat as much savory beef brisket and succulent pork belly as he or she wants. Not to mention, the complimentary sides they provide with them taste amazing, too. Yeah-yeah-yeah(x20). ***Insert Asian peace signs.*** ***** I. FOOD&DRINK If you’re interested in AYCE, they have four options(A, B, C, and D). Each option builds upon the previous one(s). More about the menu below: Option A: Unlimited Beef brisket, thinly sliced pork belly, wine pork belly, marinated garlic pork belly, pre-grilled pork(charcoal fire), and soy bean marinated pork belly. $ 19.99 Option B: Unlimited A + Spicy pre-grilled marinated pork(charcoal fire). $ 23.99 Option C: Unlimited A, B + beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, chicken bulgogi. $ 28.99 Option D: Unlimited A, B, C + Angus Sirloin Steak. $ 32.99 My fiancée and I chose Option A and only completed three rounds. Things we tried: *Beef Brisket: These wrapped beauties tasted mighty fine, and each slice had a slight fatty-ness to it. My boo’s favorite.(Recommend.) *Wine Pork Belly: My least favorite, since the wine didn’t really add that much flavor to the pork belly. It’s not bad, but there are better options like the… *Marinated Garlic Pork Belly: Thanks to Michelle K’s recommendation, we got to indulge in some pretty outstanding oinky-awesomeness that made my face scrunch up from all the smiling I did. So tasty.(Must get.) Meats also come with bean sprouts and kimchi(cooked on the grill, but separate from the meats), lettuce, thick slices of rice«noodles» in the shape of a small, yet wide smart phones, large circular pickled radishes, and three types of «dips»(soy bean paste, sesame oil, and peanuts). They also have raw garlic, hot sauce, and other condiments that I can’t remember.(Not food, but the napkins are on the ledges all around the space. lol.) Mix it all together and just eat! And if you have any left-overs, they mix everything up with rice and you get to take it home! II. SERVICE Upon entering, you’ll probably find it super chaotic, because the place is filled with young high school and college students. But, that’s the only issue(if there is one). The server we had was super nice, and I liked how he cooked everything in front of us. III. ATMOSPHERE/DÉCOR It’s like a lively sports bar, considering how loud it is there and the number of TVs. Lots of two, four, ten plus tables available. Pretty much any size group. It’s probably wise to make reservations. ;) Bathroom is adequately clean. IV. PRICES AYCE for those prices are ridiculous, especially when considering the above average quality of the meats.(Nom nom nom nom nom.) V. OVERALL I haven’t visited all of the Korean BBQ joints in The A, yet, but Oh! My SamGyupSal(tongue twister) set the bar pretty high!

Here we go again… My fellow Unilocalers know I’m not that adventurous when it comes to food so I was way out of my comfort zone here. The BF and I stroll in and are immediately seated. This was our first time at a Korean barbecue and it would’ve been nice if someone could’ve explained the process but our server was definitely the quiet type. We asked questions and he answered in the most expeditious way possible, by just shaking his head«yes» or «no». The BF wanted to order one of the all-you-can-eat deals and, unadventurous soul that I am, just wanted to order a steak. Our server spoke up long enough to tell us we couldn’t do that. According to him they have no way of making sure that we are not cheating and I wouldn’t be eating his food. He said this! To our faces! So if anyone at your table orders an all-you-can-eat then EVERYONE has to. So we both ordered some kind of something, couldn’t tell you for sure. I know it was just a bunch of meat. Bellies and such. Yeah… No one told us we were actually supposed to cook the food ourselves. The server brings all these sauces and such then puts the meat on the grill and leaves without a word. I started googling protocol and found out it was our job to cook the food. I wasn’t thrilled about this as I can’t cook and have no desire to cook. We had no idea what to do with all the the other accompaniments we were brought either so I tried looking that up. At that point I’m thinking its fairly stupid that I’m in a cold restaurant(they had all the doors open, 50 degrees outside) cooking my own food on a tiny table with no idea what to do with the half dozen other bowls of stuff on our tiny table. We had brisket first, slightly burnt(again, I don’t cook) but still ok. Next came all these meats that ended in «belly». I just couldn’t eat them as they were very fatty and greasy so I just filled up on the brisket. There was no seasoning or anything, it was just thin strips of brisket and assorted animal bellies. I would’ve been over the moon happy to have a steak but that was not in the cards. I feel like we just got a not-so-great server. Most of the other reviews of this place are glowing so I think we need to try again with a different server so we can ask our questions and really know what we are eating. I’m NOT a fan of the whole«we have no way of making sure that you are not cheating eating his food» kind of attitude, however, so we may be going to a different barbecue for our next experience. I don’t feel that we should pay good money to sit in the cold, cooking our own food, on the internet trying to figure out what the heck to do.

One of the best Korean-bbg spots in metro Atlanta. Quality of the meat is exceptional comparing the competitors like Iron Age and Chowon Buffet. And the server I had was very skillful at grilling pork and beef. What else can I ask for? And the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Oh! My SamGyupSal is by far my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in Atlanta. I usually get unlimited combo A. First and foremost, let’s talk meat. The quality of the pork belly here is phenomenal. It is consistently tasty with the perfect amount of fat to make each slice melt in your mouth. My personal favorite is the garlic pork belly. You can’t go wrong with the regular pork belly, while the wine pork belly is alright. Also, the charcoal pork belly has a delicious charcoal taste, but the only issue with it is that the serving size is smaller. The relationship between the sides and meat is similar to that between Robin and Batman. The lettuce, the pink radish-like wrap, and the Korean peppers all play an important role in balancing out the meat with additional flavors and textures. My favorite of these however is the sticky rice wrap. Of course the grilled kimchi and beansprouts deserve a mention too. Finally, they recently started doing a grilled egg with cheese on top of the grill, and it’s the little things like this that keep me coming back. What really seals the deal for me is the sauce. They have five different kinds and each is special in its own way. Finally, unlike at the other Korean BBQ restaurants, there is never a wait. On top of that, the service is fast and friendly, and I never feel rushed. Did I mention that the televisions don’t play Kpop all the time and actually play sports too? That’s a win in my book. I have become a regular here and since I’ve discovered Oh! My SamGyupSal, there is no way in hell that I will be going back to the other Kbbq joints. Enjoy.

SamGyupSal means Pork Belly, which means it’s a good time to have pork belly grilled. If the restaurant is not that far away from I85, this place would be more popular than Iron Age and Honey Pig. They also changed their menu quite a lot. Obviously, now you have to pay more to taste different kinds of meat. The basic combo A has different kinds of pork belly and beef briskets. That’s it, no other beef or chicken. Everything you get is of good quality for sure. And dip’em with four sauces, it’s so yummy! Getting tired of all the pork bellies, we ordered sirloin steak. It worth EVERYPENNY to order it! Juicy, tender, like the quality you’ll get in a steak house. TIP: Don’t forget to ask for steamed egg and fried rice that come with the combo. Their fried rice combines rice with pork bellies, seaweed and more. IMHO, it’s the best one in a BBQ place. For dessert, they also have ice cream and coffee for free. Going there in a Friday or Saturday night could be a pain. At busy times, it’s hard to get services in five minutes. But the whole experience outweighs the service a lot. The noise level was low compare to Honey Pig too.

This place is easily my favorite all you can eat Korean BBQ joint. I’m just going to go ahead and say GIVETHISPLACE A TRYYOUWON’T REGRETIT! If you come here on Friday or Saturday during the peak hours of say 6 — 8PM or so, be prepared. It can get pretty packed. But if you want some good Korean BBQ with delicious sides and not feel like paying $$$$, this is the place to be. Prior to this review, I’ve been here multiple times. First time I came here with my GF, just us two. Loved it. Then another time with coworkers and friends totaling to about 5 people. They loved it and never had Korean BBQ. True test = had a surprise party thrown here for my GF… we made reservations for 15 people. The service was legit EVERYTIME regardless of the size. That surprise party alone took up two big tables. The poor staff were literally coming back and forth what seemed like non-stop, but they were super nice and fast the entire time. I was pretty amazed at how well two people took care of two large tables with 15 people. Oh, paying separately wasn’t an issue at all. Another plus 1 for this place. The meat here is pretty good quality. Better than Iron Age for sure. Not as good as say Honey Pig, but Honey Pig does have a pretty steeper price tag. The pork belly meat to fat ratio at Honey Pig is better than here, but you’re not getting straight fat slices here. You’re fine. Don’t expect Fogo de Chao quality. If they did that here for this price, this place would be out of business. If you just crave meat or what Ron Swanson and I like to call turf and turf, this is the place. Your sides typically include kim-chi, marinated bean sprouts, salad, radish wraps, and rice paper. That’s all you need. You get fried rice at the end, which is awesome. Be warned, it can be a little salty depending on how it is prepared. The thing I look forward to the most… that coffee machine by the door. I LOVETHATTHING! The black bean drink is good along with Joe’s tears? That was there when we first when there but then was gone on subsequent trips. Not sure what happened. There’s a 100% chance I’m going here again very soon. So pictures shall emerge.
