Steve, Marley and Chis helped my fiancé and I with the purchase of a baby ferret they took the time to answer any questions we had. We had shopped around at other petco locations and they are the best! So friendly and actual pet lovers themselves, and just to throw it in there if you ANY questions about ferrets go talk to Marley she is the ferret expert!

Do not go to this store. It is dirty. Twice I have gotten food items with worms /larvae in it. On a third visit I witnessed a long haired Syrian hamster who had such awful hair mats that he could hardly move. I found an associate and the woman acted like I was being unreasonable in expecting her to do something about the poor hamster. This was not the occasional matt that all long haired animals get. This was binding his legs and head. There is no telling how long he was like that. It should have been noticed in cage cleaning and feeding. I will not go back to this store. Other Petco’s in the area are not like this one. I would drive to the one on State Bridge Road or Holcomb Bridge Road.

I have been to other pet stores in the area, Petco is my store of preference. Some of the prices are a bit higher than competitors but the sale items are always well below. The best part is, if I buy something to try and it doesn’t work out — I can return it even if open. I recommend Petco over others.

Great place for your pet’s, they have grooming services and tons of toys at great prices. They have items for cat’s, dogs, fish and much more. Be sure to visit the store during pet adoption weekends to find a special friend for you and your family.
