I had to visit Mr. (Jay) Byun today because I woke up to a dead battery. He’s my family’s mechanic and I tend to rely on him for my basic car maintenance needs.
He’s actually the one that convinced me to give up my old car to buy a newer model because he didn’t want to «take my money» when my old car was facing never ending car troubles ahead.
Long story short, my «newer» car had never had it’s battery replaced since 2011 so as the latest owner, I had to take on the responsibility today. Mr. Byun and his team is professional and courteous.
It’s a Korean owned business but don’t let the language barrier get in the way. The owner is fluent in English and he is very passionate about his work so you will not be over charged for any services. He’s an honest, Catholic, family man that is very prideful of his work. For today’s issue, I was out of there in about 15 minutes.
I recommend him to anyone that lives or works near Buford Hwy in the Duluth area.

This place had the best prices in town! My family have been going to another auto shop for all three of our cars for the past 6 years but we’ve switched to Sonamoo Auto Repair for a year now. They have great customer service, honest, provide solid auto work, and priced very well for their services. My family and I have referred many friends here. Just do a price comparisons for services at various places and you will know that you’ve been paying way too much elsewhere. Cheers to the honest and fair priced businesses out there.
