T J Maxx

Hands down, the best TJ Maxx I’ve ever been to.
Excellent selection of high-​end designer brands, from ultra-​luxe names like Valentino and Alexander McQueen to upscale contemporary like Theory and Helmut Lang. The shoe selection is also one of the biggest I’ve come across.
Some TJ Maxxes I’ve been to feel disheveled and a bit run-​down, but this one is the opposite.
Five stars!

This place is da business! They have the most beautiful collection of bags and jewelry ever. Also got an awesome ottoman there for very cheap. Love their selection.

A score of 2.5 stars would be more appropriate but since that is not an option, I gave 3 stars. I really miss what this store used to be. It once was my favorite store and I could always find something exciting to buy. Lately, I tend to just go in and buy snacks or just random items, (kitchen gadgets, yoga bag etc). They are still my «go to» source for nice leather bags. Several years ago, I would purchase all of my jewelry at TJ Maxx but they have stopped carrying fine jewelry and sell more costume pieces. Unfortunately, Ross is the new man while TJ Maxx will be demoted to ‘side piece”.

T J Maxx isn’t my go to store. I prefer Ross, but occasionally TJ’s has some really great things in their accessories and make up section. I found a lovely angled blush brush and blending brush and a great price!
The store was well kept and had some awesome gift items in the food section. An awesome selection of chocolates and spices!

I know there are those who are regulars here, but I am not. Maybe its the sheer size of the place, the billions of distracted bargain hunting shoppers, the kids running around, or the endless shelves of just pure stuff piled on top of each other… I only come by here if it’s an absolute necessity. That being said, I figured that I’d find a vinyl placemat for my puppy because she is a ridiculously messy eater, but failed. I was very surprised and confused, but as that was my sole mission, I can only grant 3 stars. As I left, I perused the handbag section and did note that if you have enough patience to dig, there are really great steals. There was one other time I came by here, which I think was about a year ago, when I found a pair of heels. I paid $ 60, which I think, in retrospect, is way too much for shoes that don’t come in a shoebox, are slightly scuffed, and tried on by too many feet. Not my favorite place to shop, but probably one of the better TJMaxx’s out there.
