This is good enough to fall into my 2nd tier of za joints. Again… driving further and further away to find the good za!
The crust is the best part of this pie. It is outstanding. Light, crunchy, and nicely charred with a little chew. This was a nice surprise since the last 3 za joints I’ve tried had great ingredients but unfortunate doughy crust (yeah…even if Rick KNOWS NY pizza, he still makes doughy crust!).
The sauce is good and apparent. However, the cheese was inferior… and this is what keeps it from being 4 star za. Also, fake garlic. Boo to fake garlic.
Upgrade that cheese! I give it my ‘average cheese in Atlanta’ rating… from the NY Pizza Guy.

The previous staff of Zapolli’s! Glad to have them back. The only problem I have is the increase in price… we used to get 2 pies for under $ 40 now it’s near $ 50. Just means we’ve gotta cut back, doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy it still.
