I don’t see what all the hype is about this place. You have to walk through a crowded gift shop on the way in and the dining area is like a cafeteria. It’s noisy and the food is not very good either. I’d rather eat at I-HOP, which is also gross.

First, we have been going here for family weekend breakfasts for years, and until recently, other than a minor snafu here and there, usually a good experience and good food, how hard is it to jack up some eggs and bacon. I usually reserve Unilocal for exceptionally poor reviews, taking the time to dress down those who deserve it and warn others so they don’t repeat my mistake. Well last week with Tish, and again today with Janeen, our meals were either undercooked, the wrong stuff or missing parts and pieces all together. One of the things were good with is were very specific and know exactly what we want. One of the things I despise sitting at a smaller table is everything being brought on separate plates, quickly cluttering a small table top meaning we have to stack and be strategic with dishes and garnishes of orange? I have never seen anyone eat the orange. A second pet peeve is bringing out scalding hot plates for children, totally think hot food is appropriate but what parent doesn’t blow off the food for the little ones let alone a plate hot enough to melt your skin. So today young Janeen took our order and I knew instantly she screwed it up, and almost like a prophet, our breakfast came incomplete, and like the week before with Tish, hoards of attitude when we asked for corrections. I got tired of waiting and asked a manager to help us, and when Janeen finally came back, pursed her lips and teeth with disdain for us. I have a strict policy of not complaining about someone who has control of my food, my wife grabbed a manager who said she would address it, the manager said they were young college folks who transfer in and out, essentially meaning they knew about the issues. This is a favorite breakfast joint of ours, but depending on the time you go and the server your experience will vary. Look for the aprons with 2 – 3 stars for better service, it’s unfortunately pretty accurate. Janeen and Trish should find other lines of work, your not cut out for customer service related work.

Maybe this location needs to simply not do carry out. The poor responsiveness is maddening… On more than one occasion I was left on the phone for 15 minutes while you hear chatter in the background just to order… COMEON… is this a corner gas station?

This is one of the best Cracker Barrel’s that I’ve been to. The service was great, our waitress Logan was pleasant, attentive, professional and helpful. The food, as with most Cracker Barrel locations was delicious and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and orderly even though it was packed and the restrooms were clean as well. The Country Store had some great sales going on and the service in the store was excellent as well. There was actually employees on the floor asking if you needed assistance. The cashier was professional and courteous. Will definitely choose to stop into this location when we are in the mood for Cracker Barrel.

Had my first Cracker Barrel experience in a long, long time. The sweet tea was southern sweet, which works for me. I enjoyed bacon, eggs, and grits, but I was most looking forward to this… white chocolate cream cheese stuffed French toast with berries. Sounded good. Looked good. Unfortunately, didn’t taste good. It was ok, but certainly didn’t live up to my expectation.

Breakfast food is my favorite, and they didn’t disappoint! I had the old timer breakfast with biscuits, grits, a side of gravy, sausage patties, hash browns casserole, two eggs and then ordered an a la carte pancake. I know it’s a lot, and i ate every bite! It was all delicious, but the sausage looked a little funky and my eggs were more runny than the typical over medium. I’m really glad i got the Pancake on the side, because it was the best pancake i have ever had in my life! I’m not much of a pancake person but there was no option u could find on the menu for a la carte french toast, so i went for it! It was slightly crisp around the edges, which i loved! Only complaints are that the host didn’t smile the entire time we were there– we watched him bc it was fascinating– and that the coffee wasn’t strong, there was no flavor to it at all.

Me and my family had supper there last night. We usually go to Fredericksburg location, but because of time we went Dumfries. The server was very nice and helpful, but still a bit forgetful with bringing the stuff we ordered. The food, just was unpleasant. The dumplings were watered down, I ordered medium rear steak; I got rear and my wife ordered medium well and got medium rear. Will not return. I gave 3 stars only because of the server thoughtfulness.

So the place was packed like everyone else mentioned but we waited less than 20 minutesand the service was fast and outstanding. Food was perfect and came out quick too.

Let me start by saying I love Cracker Barrel — I always have and I always will. It seems, however, that this location may need some help! The good: Well, it’s Cracker Barrel! I love coming to this restaurant because it always feel homey(I know that’s the idea, with the identical layout of every store and all) and the food is always good. It’s fun to browse the store while waiting for a table or play a game of checkers by the fire place. The menu provides diners with the best comfort food imaginable and I’ve never left unsatisfied. The bad: This place is ALWAYS packed! Definitely avoid this location on Sundays as you will be waiting 30+ minutes for a table. It even gets a little crowded during the week around lunch time. I’ve only been to this location twice, and we had a decent wait(10 and 30 minutes, respectively) each time. There also seem to be some issues in the kitchen. On my first visit, a table next to us sent food back almost immediately after receiving it because it was not cooked to their liking. A group a few tables over was having a serious-looking conversation with a manager about similar issues that they had with their food as well. On our second visit my wife and I were arriving just as lunch was starting(11am, according to their menus). We realized once we were seated that we had only gotten the breakfast menu! I returned to the hostess stand and inquired about some lunch menus. I was informed that the kitchen was backed up and we wouldn’t be able to get lunch yet(it was almost 11:15 at this point). I confirmed that lunch did indeed start at 11am(yes), and the host finally relented and gave me the lunch menus. We had no issues ordering from the lunch menu after that. Three out of five for the inconsistencies with service!

Had a business dinner here and was disappointed in the food. Not exactly a great first impression. Our waitress was sweet but clearly she had no training and she was flying by the seat of her apron to just get through the night. In my opinion, she will not likely stay in service. It wasn’t her thing and it was really obvious. The food was subpar and not that interesting. Crazy because I heard so many people talk about this place and it definitely makes me question people’s opinion about tasty southern style cooking. I’m beginning to believe they NEVER had GOOD no GREAT southern style cuisine. This food was hardly tasty or even appealing. 1st time and last time at this place.

Compared with the branched I have tried in the past, this one is a very low quality of restaurant compared with the others. The service is not good, cleaning of the tables take along time. They never put into consideration that some family have handicapped children’s. The food really differed from what we tried before, more specifically from Orlando branch. I would really recommend it for travelers not for regular customer.

We love, love, love this place! It makes you feel like you’re at home in the country! And who doesn’t love a place that offers breakfast all day every day?! My go-to dish is the chicken fried chicken with hash brown casserole, green beans, and mac & cheese, fried cinnamon apples or fried okra. It’s so hard to pick the 3 accompanying sides because so many of their sides are delicious! The boyfriend usually gets the sunrise sampler with scrambled cheesy eggs, bacon, sweet country ham, grits, biscuits and hash brown casserole and never has any complaints. We have always had great service here and the manager, Will is AWESOME! The best part is looking through the Old Country Store on your way out. It has the cutest gifts and trinkets!

This is a great family restaurant! Don’t let the line outside discourage you, it goes fast and it’s worth the wait. Parking can be a hard but just be patient. The family always has a great meal here, something for everyone.

First time… my last time! Food came out cold. Half order came out. Turkey bacon and Turkey Sausage has no flavor. French Toast disgusting. No cinnamon. It had no taste. The place was on the cold side. Staff was friendly thou.

Constantly crowded, so the 3 star & lower reviews are bogus… I have never been disappointed! I have come here several times and the food is always delicious. Do places or people who work there have off days? Of course, we all do! I’m not gonna hold it against the restaurant. :)

My girlfriend and I have been finding ourselves here on a weekly basis lately. The food is always excellent and ready in a timely manner no matter how busy they are. Sometimes the wait is longer than others but that is no fault of theirs. They are consistent in their service. There are occasional hiccups but nothing unforgivable.

Location is right off 95 so it’s always packed. I usually avoid Sundays bc there is a church nearby and a lot of folks come after church. Don’t expect 5 star resturant gourmet. They serve simple country style homemade breakfast and lunch. They offer breakfast all day too for those fearing breakfast for dinner. Love their pancakes and Hash brown casserole. And their staff is always friendly and amazing. Our waitress made sure we were never without coffee. Make sure you check out the country style store attached to the resturant. There are always neat trinkets for the holidays and you can find old school candies and snacks.

I love Cracker Barrel for breakfast, but have never tried anything from the lunch or dinner menu. So, I went out on a limb and ordered the chef salad. It was really great. The greens were fresh and crisp and it had an equal amount each of roasted turkey breast, chopped bacon, and sugar cured ham. It also had sliced cucumbers, grape tomatoes, and yummy homemade croutons. It is served with 2 deviled eggs on top which was an excellent addition. This location is always PACKED. The service was a little slow this time but all in all it was a great meal.

When I worked out at Quantico, this was my go-to spot for breakfast & lunch. You couldn’t beat the prices for the quality of food received. The waitresses were always pleasant & courteous. After a few months of going, they pretty much knew they’d see me each week for breakfast or lunch. or sometimes both in the same day. The daily lunch specials were very economical and always kept my belly full. I fell in love with the blueberry pancakes, apple streusel French toast, hash brown casserole and the berry cobbler that was served with Blue Bell ice cream. Yes lawd!!!
