Panera Bread

I have been here a few times and the food has always been great. There is a wide selection and I have never not liked any of the food. The service is good and when there is a lot of people waiting they generally open up another register to keep the wait time down. If you are looking for a great meal at a decent price, this place is for you.

I’m totally done with this store. They never have my pick up order correct. Desserts and drinks are never ready and things that I customize online are never correct. Yes, their managers are typically pretty good whenever you have a problem but it’s to the point that I know who they are because I have to deal with them so much. Sorry, done.

I would come into this place and by the pastries they had a sign which said «If you don’t see it, a short wait and it will be here» or something to that effect. So I wanted an orange scone and when the manager said they had none I pointed to the sign. The end result was the sign vanished, never to be see again and the manager said that I was SOL on the orange scone. Then later I realized they had a note on their menu that said if they didn’t make your order perfect, for you to let them know and they would give you a free pastry. Well they would screw up my order every time, usually failing to give me the drink cups for the drinks I paid them for. Often that was a REAL bother as I would place my order, get out of line, stupidly go to the soda machine only to find I had no cups. I would come back to find a long line so getting my cups was a REAL chore. And the net result was after getting about 4 free pastries the menu vanished, the one that said if the order was wrong you got a free pastry. So they obviously realized they screw up too much to make such an offer.
I’ve also learned that they make their sandwiches pretty fast. I used to get my drink cups and go to the soda machine and be trying to get my drinks when the pager would go off and they would be yelling my name. A little disconcerting. Now I don’t bother to get the drinks until I get the sandwiches.
Sandwiches are usually pretty good which is why I keep coming back.

Always good food and service… but wow, needs better upkeep in their cleaning schedule.

Okay, so I give a lot of places four stars. And yes, this Panera gets four stars. It’s got an exceptionally spacious front counter area so it doesn’t get clogged up during those noontime rushes, the seating area is expansive and a good place to go if you want to bring a small group here for lunch or dinner.
Panera is a reliable favorite that changes their menu often enough to keep it fresh and new. They still have old standbys on the menu but have added things like butternut squash ravioli which is really quite good. The prices at Panera are always slightly higher than McDonald’s or Wendy’s but I believe that the food is certainly better quality than most fast food places.
I also found the help and staff to be very friendly and very courteous. Absolutely no issues with any person working there and even when they made a slight mistake on my order they corrected it quickly and apologized profusely.
I don’t recall if this Panera limits your Internet access between the hours of 1130 and 1:30 PM. Some do in order to prevent crowd build up during busy times. But the Internet is reliable, the music and background noise outside of rush times is quite acceptable and a good place to get work done if you don’t want to be in the office.

Very tasty. On the road, work trip. Simple selection, where all traveling together can get weekday they want. Lots of veggies, etc. Mediterranean veggie sandwich and garden vegetable soup, more than enough. Should have ordered the half sandwich soup combo. They were nice and wrapped up my leftover. Pretty much like any other Paneria, you know what you are going to get and taste good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered ½ sandwich (Sierra turkey) and soup (black bean). Order came up rather quickly. Soup was delicious and well seasoned. Sandwich was good, it just looked a tad bit light for a$ 10 tab. All in all, a good meal but a little bit too much. I get that I’m paying for a name, but still…

The food is good, but I normally have to wait in line for a while before placing an order. If they’re in a hurry sometimes they give the wrong sandwich.

Panera Bread at Fortuna Center Plaza is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat or crank out some homework. I’ve been here many times and the food is almost always exactly what I ordered. I usually get their Bacon Turkey Bravo or Frontega Chicken sandwich. Panera’s hazelnut blend is very good and is fresh every hour.
The other caveat is their wifi isn’t the fastest. However, Starbucks is right next door and the wifi zone overlaps if you sit closer to Starbucks.

Foods good, but watch them like a hawk at the register. Bagel prices are $ 14 for 18, $ 13 for 13 with two cream cheeses, and $ 10 for 12. If you ask for 18 bagels, you should be rung up for 18. Not a dozen and 6 individual bagels. Not 13 and 5. Not 13 and 12! 18!!! There’s an $ 8 – 9 difference between what you want and what they charge. Doesn’t help when the manager doesn’t get it and seems to be being trained by the bakery person. Just sayin’.

I’d give the food at this Panera 4 stars, but the service drags it down to 2. I routinely get food to go and more often than not, there is something wrong with the order. Sometimes it’s as simple as putting chips in with the sandwich rather than the requested apple. Other times it’s including the tomato when it was requested to be left off.
The most recent example was this Sunday when I got 6 bagels and 2 scones. I asked for them not to be sliced (have you seen what their slicer does to bagels?). They sliced them. Ok, quick fix. I should have checked the rest of the order to make sure that it was correct. I got home and saw that they had given me 2 cinnamon chip bagels instead of the requested cinnamon chip scones.
Before getting annoyed again, I checked the receipt to make sure that I’d ordered what I thought I did. Yep, it clearly showed two scones.
All this complaining about incorrect orders may sound petty to some, but to me this is just an example of the lack of attention that many of the employees pay to what they are doing. I don’t know if it’s a training issue or something else, but it really isn’t that hard to read an order slip and fill it correctly, even if it’s busy.
I’ve mentioned this to management on several occasions, and despite all of the apologies and assurances, nothing seems to have changed.

Clean and comfortable environment with good food. Can’t go wrong with this Panera. I’ve been here a couple of times and will continue to come with my family. Although their portions can be small at times and may be a little pricey, I think the deliscious taste is worth it. I especially love their salads.

This panera sucks. They give you half what they should on a salad, also they forget to mention they are out of things at the register so when you order a salad with gorgonzola, expect feta to be fine with you. Also they forgot avocado on a $ 9 sandwich. Go to prince William panera.

This store has a great Manager in David.
The gentleman understands the importance of service.
There are those of us who have chronic illness’ that often time require that
we make accomadation for things we drink or eat. Often times the wait help
may think you are being difficult but then when you say something like…
I have this condition… then it’s like… oh, Oh, OH… OK then.

Ok… I order alot of food on a regular basis and usually don’t give anyone a heads up but this specific Panera Bread location sure can take care of any last minute orders I throw at them! Specifically, David. the catering manager ROCKS! I mean, this guy has the BEST customer service skills possible and he really cares about all his customers.
In addition, he knew my name after my first order so now he knows who I am, and how I like things done. I really appreciate all the hard work this Panera does, but more importantly, I appreciate the service David provides every time I come in!

We (the 4 of us) ordered our food, sat down, and almost instantly got our food! And plus it tastes great! :)

Can’t decide where to eat, Panera is usually a good place.

When ordering a salad to-​go, make sure u check it before walking out the store. My salad yesterday was skimpy and for $ 9 I expect more. The manager had to make me another salad after he saw what I the staff had made.

The prices at Panera are over priced. The food is decent but a lot of it isn’t «freshly prepared» like they claim. I watched as they got the macaroni out of a bag just to nuke it and serve it. Their soup is great but the bread bowl is over priced for less soup. The staff are friendly, depending on the day and their mood. The cleanliness was not up to par. I have never been more grossed out by a bathroom, I felt like I needed a shower after using the bathroom. The tables are not cleaned up after people leave so who knows how long germs spread after each person leaves a table. Most tables that are for larger groups (4 people) are used by «students» who aren’t even eating, but talking loudly on their phones and facebook posting, and stay there for hours which makes it hard to find a seat to eat your meal.
The food is decent but definitely not worth the price…

This is a very busy location, but food is always prepared fast. I never have a chance to sit down after filling my drink before my buzzer goes off. I always enjoy my meals, but do notice portion sizes are quite different if you eat there vs. getting it to go. My only complaint is one night I went in a half hour before closing and they were out of baguettes, which are my favorite part :(
I love meeting here for meetings, picking up dinner after work, or stopping in for a fresh smoothie.
I also love the Panera rewards card thingy — I get free stuff or discounts all the time!
