Target

I love this Target; it is my go to store. The staff is kind and helpful. Stores like this can sometimes get very messy but the staff here does an excellent job trying to keep it decent. There’s also a Starbucks which is a plus :)

My family and I frequent this Target more then any other store. We come here so often that the employees all recognize us and in the case of the Awesome pharmacy, know us by name. With as often as we come, you’d think that we’d have a few bad experiences. I can only think of a few here and there but 99% of the time its a fantastic shopping experience.
The service here is always great. People always smile and ask if you need help. Beginning at customer svc. Who doesnt dread the usual customer svc experience you get at most big box stores? The cs dept here is always helpful. None of the attitude you typically get at other places. Again the sales floor is always great and everything is well stocked.
Ive had terrible experiences at pharmacies in the past. Dont get me started with CVS. Its refreshing how great the pharmacy staff here is. I dreaded going in to get any prescriptions before using the Target pharmacy in Dumfries. They know us by name here and always play with my son.
The front check out also does a great job. Our usual trip has our cart (or carts!) filled to the top. Its always very quick and efficient especially with cartwheel and the coupons that we use and the cashiers are always friendly.

This review for the cashier name Fatima only. I love target alway shop at target. I don’t mind to drive 10mils to shop at target even though Walmart is only 2 miles away from me. I believe that target know how to treat their customers right and well organize. Well I guess miss Fatima didn’t get the memo from employees handbook. She was rude, love to bully people and she can make you feel like you disgusted her to the point that she need to almost toss your change in to her hand because she better than you. This is exactly how my friend, her son and me feel last night (9÷6÷15). Let me tell you some background of this story. My friend and her son came from my country to visit me. She spoke broken to almost zero English. He on the other hand know English but not that well. We went to Fatima lane for check out. She was busy counting her money from the cash draw. My friend put her purchasing on the belt. Fatima looked up and said how are you. My friend replied back in the soft voice. Fatima again said” I SAID HOW ARE YOU”. I looked up at her in disbelief that she had to raise her voice like that. I told Fatima that my friend already responded to her question. Fatima said I didn’t her so she need to speak up. WTH, if you stop counting your draw then you can hear your customer. I didn’t said anything back to her because I thing it was no point so I walked up to the next register to pay for mind. Suddenly, I heard a loud noise from Fatima again. So, I went there and asked her what is the problem. She start yelling that my friend didn’t respond back to her greeting. I then explained to her that they just came here. She also said my friend son kept on asking her what she was saying. I again told her they just came here. Then Fatima said the son’s going to school then he should speak English. Ignorant, she was!
I told her to please try to understand. You were the same situation too when you first came from your country, I told her. She give me a to to the hand gesture then she yell «I’M SORRY» then said something in her own language with the passion. I went to talk to the manger to complain. Big mistake, I shouldn’t left my friend and her son there with this crazy lady. She bullies my friend by said thing in her own language (I’m sure they weren’t nice). Our grocery bags were mess up. Our bread got deform in to a ball, things mix up in the bag. At the end she used only 2 of her fingers almost tossed the change in to my friend hand in the rude way.
Fatima, you done a good job. My friend’s son was upset at himself and beat himself up. He think that he could had done more or be able to understand more English so he can help his mom. My friend was in tears because she never ever been treated like this. Bravo to Fatima!!!
Btw, I will start shopping at Walmart now since Target has the same customer service!

For some reason this target has higher prices than the other locations. They also really never have any clearance items. It’s basically the worst target in the area with the exception of the woodbridge location.

Pretty nice target. Area seems nice and safe. The store was pretty clean. I won’t drive out of my way to go to this target but it was nicer than the one on Richmond highway.

The customer service is great and the store is always clean. This location is bigger than the Target on Prince William Parkway but the one on Prince William Parkway has more items (it seems) than this location near Montclair.

It is a complete mystery to me (and my local store manager) how this happened, but someone at the Dumphries Target pharmacy made a mistake that caused an issue for me when I went to my Target to refill a prescription. Unbeknownst to me the Dumphries Target pharmacy had commandeered a prescription and filled it – at their store! (I have never been to the Dumphries store or talked to anyone there).
My pharmacy staff member called Dumphries, but was unable to determine how that happened. (She was told it was likely my mistake, perhaps my doctor called in a prescription to the wrong pharmacy – neither applied to this refill.) The pharmacist at my store suggested the problem might be soon-​to-​be-​replaced computer software, or an employee mistakenly clicking on my name in the database as they put in an order. (File that under carelessness.) No worry, they’d reinstate the prescription and fill the order. Yes, but…
It wasn’t an issue of getting the Rx. I needed to find someone who shared my curiosity. I wanted someone interested in backtracking the process by which the error occurred. I eventually shared my story with the store manager, «How did my prescription information wind up as an order at another Target?» He admitted he didn’t know, but was concerned enough to say he would delve into it further. He understood the goal was to prevent errors, or fix them so they did not become an issue for customers. I didn’t have to explain why the problem deserved immediate attention.

Very clean but need batter management

It’s a much nicer Target than the one on PW parkway in Woodbridge — even the parking lot is nicer. :) It’s usually quite tidy and clean inside, as well as organized, and the stock is usually really good. I love this Target!

I love Target and this one is one of my favorites. I would rather pay a bit more for some things than even walking into a Walmart around here. It’s always clean, the checkers are efficient even if they aren’t always sure how to ring something and there’s not pallets of crap in the aisles.

I’m a huge fan of Target… especially since it lets me avoid Wal-​Mart. Although you sometimes pay a little more, it’s worth it. As far as Target’s go, this is one of the best. It is always clean and never too crowded. Part of that is a product of keeping enough checkout lines open to keep the lines moving. Something I really like is that they recently updated and expanded to a full grocery section. It is great and the prices are very reasonable.

It’s one of my favorite targets. The Dollar spot is great and always replenished. I have never seen a better one. I liked the clothes as well and it is very easy to see where things are.
