only giving this place two stars because the wrap wasn’t so bad but the service was horrendous I waited 15 minutes just to be served when there were only two people behind the counter and one person in front of me… the one guy working had to keep looking at the menu to make sure he was getting the person’s order right… I think if you work somewhere you should probably know the menu offhand hand I won’t be going back here… its a shame because it’s right down the block from my house oh well.

I have gone to all bagel shops in this area and this is by far the best. The lox is fresh, not from a package like some bagel stores. I can always taste the difference. I like to get taylor ham and cheese, taylor ham is a delicacy in Jersey. The line can get long on a sat or Sunday. I would prefer to go to a bagel store with a lot of people waiting than go to a place that’s empty. There is nothing wrong with this place and I will always come back.

I just came here to order the rodeo special which says $ 4.99 and she charges me $ 5.99 and I said its up there as $ 4.99 and she says that’s the tax.
$ 1.00 sales tax? Bull shit — they are basically ripping people off and then the orders weren’t even what we ordered exactly. I highly do not recommend this bagel place when Bagels and More is right down the street on Washington and Main.
Skip this Dumont spot so you don’t get bamboozled by their price shenanigans and their screw ups on their order.

Been here several times because the bagels are good, but the coffee is gross! Pretty much undrinkable. When you run a bagel place, expect still-​sleepy customers wanting a freshly brewed cup of coffee with their bagel. Not weak and unpleasantly burnt coffee. We were disappointed.

Best bagels around, hands down. We all know this area is known for having good bagels but we also know, some places are better than others and this is just the best. Fast service, many bagel and cream cheese flavor options. Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese is my go to and this place does it perfectly. And it is a true everything bagel — not just poppy and sesame seeds masquerading as everything.
I will say it has gotten a little pricey (the cream cheese and toppings add up) but it’s worth it for a great breakfast.

Lox bagels are among my favorite weekend treats — and these guys hit the spot. Fresh lox, fresh bagels, fresh cream cheeses, and fairly priced. With options like a flagel (bagel with more crust, less dough, a flat bagel) this is now my go-​to spot. The line can get long, but it’s worth the wait and a sign of the quality.

The past two times I have been there they have forgotten to toast my bagel. VERY dissatisfied! Who wants a cold bagel with cream cheese? Who wants a tuna melt on a cold bagel?

Excellent bagels, toppings and selections of other stuff. I’d be flirting with 5 stars if the wait wasn’t so long.

Great people, friendly and fast. Excellent food, ample portions. Sandwiches usually come with a pickle and macaroni or potato salad. Large bagels. Good for breakfast and lunch.

Good high quality bagels, the service is really fast Omar and everyone else work very quickly to get your order done without messing it up. There’s usually a line in the morning but even with the line you won’t wait more then 5 minutes to get your order and be out the door. Price is more then reasonable for everything on their menu. They have a lot of healthy options that taste excellent. The coffee isn’t great if you take it black like I do but, if you like to put milk and sugar in it tastes just fine.

This is pretty much the only bagel store I go to. Friendly service, delicious bagels, wonderful cream cheeses, and great dink selection from the coolers.
I’m a big fan of everything bagels and most bagel shops fail to truly put EVERYTHING on it. Not this place! Their breakfast sandwiches are consistently delicious. I had to get a few dozen assorted bagels for my office and they helped me carry it to my car, plus since I am a fairly regular customer, they gave me an additional dozen for free! Now that’s customer service.
My only issue was getting a salad for about $ 8 and no meat. Also, not a fan of their coffee.
Staff is friendly and personable, so that’s an added bonus! No hate an resentment going into your good.

Their food is pretty good, but they’re always out of this or that and it’s very inconvenient. I always ask for a rueben sandwich and they’re always out of corned beef and coleslaw. Extremely annoying.

Dumont Bagels has been satisfying me as long as I can remember. The guys at this store work real hard to make all their customers happy and mistakes are uncommon. They have lots of items on their menu and great specials. I usually come here for an egg sandwich on one of their warm, fresh bagels, which are some of the best in the area. The place can get very busy occasionally but it’s easily worth the wait. Would definitely recommend Dumont Bagels!

Their lox is high quality and plentiful when you get it on a bagel sandwich. They have a lot of options, and the bagels themselves are sooo good.

This is my local bagel shop. These guys do a fantastic job and I have never been disappointed by a single thing I got there. They offer all of the normal bagel selections, and they have wraps, sandwiches, muffins, cookies and even flat bagels and bialys.
I would suggest either the French Toast bagel, or the Managers Special:
flat bagel (my preference is the Everything), whitefish salad, scallion cream cheese, lox, thinly sliced onions, thinly sliced tomato, sliced pickled jalapenos. It is much larger than the average breakfast sandwich, but the combination of flavors is out of this world. Recommended.
