Rude, unfriendly staff that’s are clueless. Just don’t go here unless your desperate. It will be my first and last time here.

Slow !!! Every time my son wants to come here I get annoyed. It’s the closest one but I have a bad experience every time !!! They take forever and a day. A snail can make it across Dumont before you get your sandwich.

Aside from lack of full bread selection, Food and service is fine. No problems with the way they make my sandwich or my kids sandwich. Not too many smiles but I guess I’d be cranky too if I worked at a subways.

Rude female staff. Absolutely unfriendly. Instead of being happy to sell, it’s like they want you to get out. Will not go there again.

This place does not deserve a star. Service sucks and never has everything no matter what time.

Horrible, don’t eat here unless you are truly depserate. First and foremost the staff are some of the nastiest people I have ever met. They make nasty comments and get into fights with customers. How this place is still open blows my mind. Their one star doesn’t just stop there, the food is absolutely horrible, the bread is usually stale and tasteless. It is crunchy without being heated up. The condiments as well as their meet tastes just like it looks disqusting it tastes like it has been sitting there in the hot sun all day. It’s like the fridge part of the condiment section broke and they just didn’t bother to fix it. Honestly the few times I have eaten here I’ve thrown out my sandwich because it was literally the most disqusting thing I have ever eaten. I also had the door slammed in my fave once by an employee because they decided they wanted to close an hour earlier then they were supposed to and did not care that I was a paying customer. This place is unsanitary poorly maintained and really shouldn’t be open anymore.

Last week, I walked into the Subway in Bergenfield to satisfy my long craving for a healthy sandwich. I was served by a female employee with Indian features. She had a welcoming smile and prepared my order professionally and I was very happy to find an alternative store. I stopped going to the Dumont store because the female staff were always very mean and disrespectful. I tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner but the treatment was the same. Today I came back to Bergenfield and to my surprise the same female employee was working there. She was talking non-​stop with another employee in their native language and when it came time for my sandwich, she was very impatient and rude. Exactly like in Dumont. Unhealthy attitude spoils appetite & diminishes customer loyalty!
I wish «zero» star was possible — reluctantly giving both branches 1 FADING STAR.

Disrespectful employees that talk back and say rude comments. The corporate
Should come in and teach the staff how to greet
The customers nicely and to smile more often .
The bergenfield subway especially. And also they need
Staff that understands English and don’t repeat every
Second what you need on your sandwich. The
Owner needs to appreciate the customers
Who come in and not be so rude and grumpy .I

That’s so messed up.

I have ordered a salad three times and every time it’s the same excuse… They NEVER have avocado yet they are advertising it throughout the store. The staff members are not friendly. They do not welcome you to the store and they make you feel uncomfortable as if they hate their job.
The salad is called a «Chopped» salad and they leave the chicken and bacon un-​cut and cold.

I hate to write a bad review on the place and while the sandwich was what it should be the customer service and cleaniness was awful. went on ³⁄₁₅ and went to order my food but as i walked passed the tables everyone of them were filthy. so now to the sandwich part, the girl making the sandwich was fine the worker at register and girl leaving her shift were not cleaning, not ready to ring up people in front of me they were laughing at things on there phone. really? super rude that after you have your food ready to be rung up your waiting to pay while they carry on. so i wait now 30 seconds doesnt sound like a long time but stand at a register and count to thirty it feels like an eterenity. so i clear off a table and eat as the women at the register walks by and goes «oh my god these tables are gross». does she go back and get a rag to wipe them down? of course not walks right back passed them and goes back to the phone. sorry subway but i now know why your establishment is empty.
