This was a nice fair. Entry fee was $ 13(adults) but it included everything. rides, shows, events, ect. We went saturday around 6pm. We seen some cool(rescued) dogs do amazing tricks. tight roping, climbing a ladder, ect. There was also an opportunity to feed a tiger(raw meat on a stick & child held stick while tiger was in enclosed cage) and see the camels. After the show was over, we headed to the arena to see the truck show. It was a pick up pull. different pick ups truck with weights. it was pretty cool to watch and see how far each pick up made it. They also served beer there. Afterwards, we decided to go get some food. The number of food vendors at this event exceeded the number of rides! there was so. much. food! Everthing from gyros, lemonade to fried butter. Then it was time to hit the rides. Woah, there were some rides here that ive never seen at any carnival. One was a swing ride but more like cliffhanging where you laid on your stomach. They also had tilt-a-whirl, mini pitfall(which was reallllllly high) swings that flew as high as the mini pitfall and the roller coaster ring of fire. We actually passed on almost all of the rides because they were just too thrill-seeking for us. plus bobby hates heights and i hate spinning/going backwards so we werent left with too much(its our fault, we are lames) Even though we only road 3 rides we still had fun! The only complaint i had was the pony rides. It was your standard ponies tied to a curricular thing and a cowboy holds it while ponys walk in a circle. I didnt see them swap out ponies the entire time i was there. nor did i see them eat or drink anything! The ponies were falling asleep standing there and it literally brought tears to my eyes. I hope at home they were well taken care of because they looked absolutely depressed at this fair. Not to mention, some genius decided to put these poor ponies right next to the arena where the truck shows were. It was extremely loud(some people actually bought ear plugs) every 30 seconds a new loud truck was pulling weight and making a loud noise. The ponies looked around frightened each time. The animal lover in me cried for 10 minutes at the sight of these sad looking ponies… other than that it was a great night!
